A highly recognizable touch of side light, Darmoshark K9 wired mechanical keyboard sharing

After many years of tossing in the peripheral pit, I have touched some of the keyboards with common configurations. It doesn’t matter what configuration is used for daily leisure or playing games, but I will still switch back to a full-size keyboard if it really makes efficient work. I don't know what keyboard arrangement you are using? Last year, the 98 series was popular, and this year's 75 series was so popular that domestic keyboard manufacturers rarely launched new full-size keyboards in the past two years. However, Darmoshark recently launched a standard 104-key mechanical keyboard-K9.

Darmoshark's keyboard and mouse products all use the same style of outer packaging. Judging from the display picture on the outer packaging, it seems that K9 is just a traditional keyboard with a scroll wheel in the upper right corner. In fact, the external highlights of this keyboard are mainly reflected in the irregular light-transmitting design on the side, while the inside integrates popular elements such as hot plug, sandwich cotton, bottom cotton and RGB.

The accessories are very simple, only the key puller, shaft puller and instruction manual.

The size of K9 is about: 440x135x40mm, and weighs about 1.2 kg. At present, the K9 only has a black color for the time being, and the switch body is only available in Jiadalong G Silver Pro.

The pure black shell is matched with a set of black and white keycaps, in which the characters on the white keycaps are darker blue. Because the PBT material is difficult to make pure black, the black of the keycap is slightly lighter than the black of the keyboard shell.

A volume scroll wheel is set in the blank area in the upper right corner, click the scroll wheel button to switch between volume adjustment and backlight brightness adjustment. There are four long strip indicator lights on the left side of the scroll wheel.

When the indicator light is on, it emits light blue light, the overall brightness is not high, and it is not very obvious when the ambient light is strong.

The shell of the keyboard is divided into upper and lower parts. The upper panel can be said to be unremarkable, and the bottom shell is highly recognizable. There are many irregular-shaped hollows on the four sides.

Except for the front side, the hollows on the other three sides all extend to the bottom of the keyboard.

The lighting effects of the side lights and the keys are independent and can be adjusted by combining keys. After turning on the lights, it has a full sense of atmosphere and is highly recognizable.

The K9 comes standard with a set of original height keycaps.

The outgoing line of the keyboard is not designed to separate the key line, perhaps because the keyboard is a single wired mode.

PBT two-color process keycaps, the font of the main key area is bold and large, the surface has obvious frosted grainy feeling, the touch is dry and refreshing, and it is not easy to oil.

There is no obvious deformation of the big key, and the nozzle is very clean, without any small flaws such as burrs.

The large key satellite switch has been adjusted before leaving the factory, and the consistency of the feel is quite good. There is no noise such as steel wire sound, the rebound is fast, the bottom is not fleshy, and the overall performance is very good. In order to eliminate the cavity sound as much as possible, the space between the positioning boards on the left and right sides of the space is also filled.

The switch body is Jiadalong G Silver Pro, and there are no other switch bodies available for the time being, but it is a trivial matter to change the switch for hot-swappable keyboards.

The PCB is compatible with five-pin shafts, and most of the shafts on the market can be replaced at will.

Sandwich cotton and bottom cotton are also readily available.

Except for the hollow part, the bottom shell is relatively simple. There is no foot support, which is somewhat a small shortcoming.

In addition to the nameplate in the middle of the bottom case, there is also a nameplate of "Zhan Mo / K9" in the upper left corner.

The white positioning board has a more obvious strengthening effect on the lighting, because the keycap itself is not transparent, the front lighting effect of the K9 should be said to have what it should have, and the brightness, uniformity, and softness are also remarkable.

The transmissive lighting effect around the sides is the most recognizable point of this keyboard.

Darmoshark K9 is one of the few 104-key full-size mechanical keyboards among the new domestic keyboard products in the past two years. The multi-functional scroll wheel and the highly recognizable side surround lights are rare shining points among similar products. Returning to the function of the keyboard itself, the large keys are obviously carefully adjusted, with good hand feel consistency, no noise and cavity sound, etc., and the overall input experience is very good. If you must find the shortcomings, there is no separate design for the foot support and non-key line, which can be regarded as a deduction item. But the shortcomings do not conceal the advantages, K9 is still a highly recognizable boutique keyboard as a whole.
