Skyloong is a keyboard brand that I am very familiar with. I have written several of their keyboards before, and my impression is very good. The Crazy Kit was launched at the Brand Day event on March 3rd. I used to pay attention to the finished keyboards. The Crazy Kit they launched this time not only has a very high cost performance, but also is really attractive for assembling a keyboard by yourself. So I made a set of kits, plus a bucket of shafts and keycaps from the little nerd I bought before, and assembled a keyboard that is more suitable for me.

This time, the whole series adopts the latest low-latency multi-chip 3-mode wireless kit, and the wireless module adopts Nordic low-latency anti-interference chipset; the product configuration covers 61/64/68/84/96/75/980/87/108 configuration From small to large, it is the most complete among all brands. Let players have a new understanding of customized keyboard kits: customization is not only about changing shafts and keycaps, but also has a rich accessory system to support personalized modification, such as PC, glass fiber FR4 and other positioning plate accessories of different materials , the installation of the knob module, and the replacement of the split space positioning board module.

The GK980+ kit purchased this time has a built-in 4000mAH large-capacity lithium battery, double-layer noise-cancelling filling, flick Gasket flexible fixed connection structure, and powerful driver onboard customization functions, redefining what customization elements a customized keyboard should have. For example, the old geek players have always recognized the stable quality and powerful functions. The price was a little expensive before, but this time the brand day price has been greatly discounted.

The GK980+ kit will naturally be equipped with the housekeeping black technology of the nerd, and the design element of the "twirl knob" is still maintained. Players can replace the ordinary MX hot-swappable shaft body with a knob module at will. The GK980+ kit supports changing up to 6 knobs, and players can get richer gameplay with the support of the custom driver of the small bug.

The GK980+ kit uses the upgraded LiteGasket flick version, which also has an exclusive patent (patent number: 202122268546.3). By adding a 0.2mm high-precision shaft pad between the positioning board and the PCBA main board, and adding a silicone cushion to the place where the screws are fixed, it can reduce the collision sound between the shaft body and the bottom case and improve the output of soft feel.

The keycaps and switches of the little worm I bought before can finally come in handy. To be honest, I still like this packaging very much, full of young design elements everywhere.

Both the switch body and the keycap are matched with the GK980+. This keycap looks very detailed, exactly the same as the finished keyboard keycaps of several small bugs I have played before.

Personally, I still like the blue color of the little nerd very much. As for the switch body, the gold powder switch has always been my favorite, and it is very comfortable to input text frequently.

Here is another close-up of the keycap. To be honest, I like the workmanship of the small bug accessories very much. It is very delicate and the details are handled quite well.

Regarding the kit, there is another point that is very important. GK980+ also continues the technology of the small space splitting space-long space interchange module (patent number: 2019209171742). Players can split a long space bar into two short space keys, which is beneficial Adjust the cavity sound of the long space satellite axis, and also transfer the combined function keys from the inflexible tail finger to the thumb position, which is very suitable for players who like a large number of combined keys, and can also be customized through the driver.

This kit also supports full-key hot-swappable, the five-hole shaft seat is compatible with three-pin and five-pin hot-swappable shafts, and the RGB lamp beads support 16.8 million lighting effects. Hot-swapping will be much more convenient for players, and the playability has been improved a lot. The shaft and kit are all made by the nerd, so the overall fit is quite good.

I tested the lamp beads. Since there is no light effect set, the default effect is adopted, and all can be lit, and the effect is quite good.

The GK98+ kit uses the Nordic wireless chipset from Nordic Semiconductor. You can understand that those first-line brands also use this chipset. This chipset has 1ms low-latency frequency hopping anti-jamming technology.

I have to say that the light effect of the little worm is quite beautiful, and the size of this arrangement is very friendly to players who don't like to take up too much of the desktop.

Let’s take a look at the finished product. I think it’s pretty good. In terms of the color of the keycaps, I chose a set that is all blue. Of course, there are some pink keycaps that can be matched to enhance the overall feeling. Wait for me to play for a while before switching back.
