The keyboard has always been an essential device for using a computer.

I had no idea about this peripheral before, and the keyboards I used were basically membrane keyboards, so I didn't know much about mechanical keyboards.

Until later, there were more occasions for typing, and there were certain requirements for the feel and speed of typing, and I gradually began to understand the knowledge of mechanical keyboards.

So I chose to customize my own keyboard.

This kit is a 98 configuration. I sometimes have a lot of digital input. It is more convenient to have a numeric keypad area. The appearance is transparent and matte black, which feels a bit cheap, but the upper cover can be replaced; Install the battery, drive... everything you need.

The built-in satellite axis is also not bad.

I bought the kit last year. Since I wrote this article a bit late, it should be out of production and there is no brand new one. Now the new generation is 940v5.

Last year's cost performance was directly full. , but this year's mass-produced three-mode 98 has a lot more choices, this kit is no longer the ideal choice.

The linear axis feels good at the price of one yuan, and the pressure in grams is still a bit high. It is not suitable for friends with muscle weakness, but it is just right for me, with fast rebound and good sound.

The keycaps I chose are: rk98 disassembly keycap

This is the oem keycap I received at the seafood market for 50 yuan. There is nothing to say about this, mainly cheap. (The rk98 finished keyboard was also in my candidate range, but I heard that the workmanship is not very good, the shaft body is too wobbly, and the rgb brightness is too low...)

I've had it for nearly half a year, and I have to admit; a bigger battery is better. The battery life of 8000 mAh is really top-notch, and the number of charging times can be counted on the fingers.

Both the feel and the sound have been adjusted to my favorite state, and typing is faster and more powerful.

The fun of assembling a keyboard of your own and installing the axes one by one, these experiences are still good.

The next step is to design a set of keycaps myself.
