But when I play games, I want to use the black switch that triggers faster. what to do? If it was in the past, it may be necessary to prepare two keyboards, or prepare a customized keyboard to perform the switch operation. It was too cumbersome to operate, until I encountered the T98 variable-speed mechanical keyboard of the game peripheral brand Bloody Ghost, which really solved the problem.

Unboxing: comprehensive and detailed

The packaging box uses a white base, and the sketch outline of the keyboard is printed on the front. The classic bloody hand logo has become a black pixel style. The 3-speed mechanical keyboard above is still very eye-catching. The first time I used this keyboard, I was still a little impatient.

The parts in the box are relatively complete, and the manual and warranty card will not be detailed. Others include a key puller and a Type-C cable. This time the cable and the keyboard are separated, the advantage is that it is more convenient to use. In terms of keycaps, Shuangfeiyan gave me a surprise. It comes with 25 camouflage color matching keycaps.

Both the key puller and the cable have the logo of the ghost of the bloody hand, which is very detailed.

The 25 camouflage-colored keycaps use the PBT sublimation process, and have a matte feel, a delicate feel, and good wear resistance. You don't have to worry about oiling or fading for long-term use.

Appearance: Let's fight, boy

The most conspicuous thing when you get the keyboard is the red [LT] button in the upper right corner. This is also the core selling point of T98, the three-speed button. Different modes can be realized by this key. The specific experience will be introduced later.

As the name suggests, T98 has 98 keys. Compared with 104 and 108-key keyboards, some infrequently used keys are omitted, while the small keyboard area is retained. It is more convenient in the daily typing experience, and the overall body is relatively small.

My model is pixel green, and the color of the entire keyboard is surprisingly uniform. Except for a red LT shift key, there is no variegated color, and even the characters on the keycaps are also treated with light colors. In order to realize my military fan feelings, I also replaced 25 camouflage buttons immediately. After the replacement, it seemed that there was still a little blood.

The Type-C interface on the back has three card slots for wiring, which greatly increases the freedom of wiring.

The foot support is also double-angled, 3° and 8° respectively. From my personal experience, I still prefer to raise it to 8°.

Experience: One button and three speed changes

How does the bloody ghost T98 realize the 3-speed transmission? It uses the LT optical axis developed by Shuangfeiyan. In fact, it defines the position of the trigger point and the reset point through 3 gears, and uses the change of the trigger pressure of the axis body itself to bring three different feel. The three key strokes correspond to different colors for distinction.

Among them, the 1st position is Blu-ray, and the key stroke is 2mm; it is suitable for daily office typing.

2-position yellow light, 1.5mm key travel; suitable for regular gamers, moving or making combos more quickly during games.

3-position red light, 1mm key travel. Suitable for high-level players, it is more reliable and effective when micro-manipulating.

What are the characteristics of LT optical axis? The first feeling when you get started is light and quiet. The Bloody Ghost T98 itself has a sound-absorbing structural sponge, and the traditional metal shrapnel exit point has been removed, making the shaft smoother. When typing, there is no such crackling sound. Even if it is used in public places, there is no need to worry about affecting others. It's the quietest mechanical keyboard I've ever used.

In addition, the manufacturer's slogan for this keyboard is the mechanical feel of the red switch, and the smoothness and quietness of the pink switch. Above I mentioned its internal sound-absorbing construction. Next, let’s talk about its feel design. The total stroke is 3.8mm, and the trigger pressure is 45gf. It is a straight up and down linear axis, and the overall feel is similar to the red axis.

There is also a point that the bloody ghost T98 can reset at 0 o'clock, which means that pressing the trigger operation and keyboard reset can be completed almost at the same time. The advantage is that players can realize the connection more quickly. If you play the same game, T98 can achieve more operations at the same time compared with traditional mechanical switches.

In addition, the swaying angle of the optical axis is smaller, and the pressing deflection of the four sides is 0.5°, which makes the hand feel more stable when playing games.

Gaming experience: flickering and moving

I usually play LOL the most, adjust the short trigger key stroke, and cooperate with the full key without conflict. I found the combos to be smoother than before.

In addition, with short key travel, the response is also very direct when switching firearms in CF games, and the movement of characters is more precise and faster. The overall gaming experience has really improved.

After these hours of experience, the biggest feeling of T98 is the typing feel. After all, my daily work is still mostly codewords. The previous mechanical keyboard home office has been complained about being too noisy. The T98 is much quieter, and I was also impressed by the stability of the keyboard, which is significantly different from my other mechanical keyboards.

In addition, the 98-key design not only takes care of the desktop space, but also takes into account the convenience of the small keyboard.
