The outer packaging of the keyboard adopts the packaging method of Tiandi cover. The name of the keyboard is "TENACITY", which literally translates to the meaning of toughness and perseverance. Personally, I think this word is quite close to the tonality of the cheap donkey brand itself.

There are actually not many accessories: metal shaft puller, plastic key puller, L-type TYPE-C plug data cable with the same color as the keyboard, and manual. What is more interesting is the keyboard protection bag, which also has a simple instruction manual printed on it.

The key layout of RS2 is different from the common arrangement, which is equivalent to moving the small number area on the right side of the 98 arrangement to the right by a distance of about 1U. In the extra position in the middle, three 1U-length function keys are set. , by the way, the number 0 key of 2U length is perfectly preserved. At the same time, a knob is added to the upper right corner of the keyboard, and two function keys are reduced. There are a total of 99 buttons + 1 knob.

The original gray color scheme of the RS2 three-mode mechanical keyboard is a retro gray theme, because the direction area is slightly moved down, and because of the multimedia knob in the upper right corner, the overall frame is not particularly narrow. The function icons of the combined keys are printed on the keycaps, making it almost easy to use. At the same time, it also supports Win/Mac dual-system shortcut keys, and can quickly switch between the two systems through key combinations.

The position of the Del key is relatively close to that of the conventional 104/108 key. I personally like this design very much. The other Pause and ScrLk function keys seem to be almost never used in my impression.

The three indicator lights are concentrated in the area vacated after the digital area is moved to the right.

The outer layer of the volume knob is made of metal material, which has a weak sense of scale when turning, moderate damping, and a good hand feel.

There is a shape design on both sides of the keyboard cover, so the overall look will not be too monotonous.

Both the TYPE-C interface and the wireless switch are set on the rear side of the keyboard, and the blind operation of the push-type switch is also very convenient.

The bottom shell of the keyboard is relatively simple. There are five non-slip pads in total, and the nameplate sticker is in the middle.

The storage compartment of the 2.4G wireless receiver is above the sticker, non-magnetic design, the mold precision is very high, and the receiver is stuck tightly after being put in.

The two-stage foot support can provide three different inclination angles.

RS2 is equipped with a set of PBT two-color keycaps as standard, with closed character technology, the grainy surface is very delicate, and the touch is very moist. There are almost no burrs and nozzle marks on the back, and there is no obvious deformation of the large keys. The overall craftsmanship is not bad.

My RS2 three-mode mechanical keyboard is equipped with Jiadalong G Red Pro axis body. Although there is no dustproof wall, the stability of the axis center is not bad. There is no obvious noise during operation, and the smoothness is OK.

Except for a little noise in the space bar, I re-added a little grease to make adjustments, and the other large keys basically reached the standard for hands-on use.

What is more considerate is that on the FR4 glass fiber positioning board of RS2, the corresponding key characters are marked on each key position, so that it is very convenient to install after replacing the keycap.

The PCB is compatible with pentapods, and it can be seen that there are pads under the shaft.

The keyboard adopts the Gasket structure. In addition to the pad under the shaft, noise-absorbing cotton is added between the FR4 positioning board and the PCB, so as to obtain a soft elastic feel while also having a good noise-absorbing effect. However, the keyboard does not seem to have an underlayment, otherwise the elimination of the cavity sound will be more thorough.

The keyboard backlight is a monochromatic warm white light with 17 built-in lighting effects. However, because the keycaps are not transparent, and the reflection effect of the black positioning plate on the light is average, the overall brightness is not particularly high, and it can only roughly present a simple ambient light effect.

The keyboard has a built-in 3000mAh lithium battery. According to the official announcement, the battery life can reach about 4 weeks, which should be the battery life in the best transmission state with the lights off. Turning on the light will shorten a lot, you need to remember to charge it in time. There are many metal objects and wireless devices on my desktop. I have been using this keyboard for a while now, and there is no sudden delay or disconnection. The wireless stability is not bad.
