In mid-March, the NOOIR studio was officially established and released some information about the kit.

The product name "Klavier" was inspired by the name of the piano, a classical musical instrument. During the design process, the team saw a photo of Prometheus outside the play and was deeply inspired and decided to create a keyboard as elegant as a piano.

This product didn't attract much attention from me at first. Although their exterior design is quite unique, since this is a new studio, I didn't have high expectations for them at first.

But the official IC that followed really aroused my interest.

The studio adopted an improved version of the scissor structure and a customized pneumatic cylinder bolt to design the overall structure, aiming to optimize the consistency of the soft spring of the positioning plate, taking into account the dual advantages of GAS and TOP.

The entire structure is connected by a beam in the middle. When under pressure, the force will be evenly transmitted to the pneumatic cylinder bolt at the bottom, and the pushback force will also act evenly on the entire positioning plate, so as to achieve the consistency of the elastic force of the positioning plate.

At the same time, the structure is also the studio's exclusive patent, named "wing" (English name "WING"), shaped like wings, soaring into the sky. In order to echo the strings inside the piano, the mechanical structure adopts a golden color scheme, making the entire keyboard look more elegant and refined.

When I saw this liner, my personal concerns were mainly focused on the mechanics of the scissors. Although the pneumatic cylinder pin is one of the eye-catching components, in my opinion, the pneumatic cylinder pin is a "means" to promote the scissor structure, just like the leaf spring and the spacer are to the Gasket, and the different "means" The oriented purpose is the same - "optimize the consistency of the soft bounce of the positioning board", but in terms of hand feeling experience, different "means" will inevitably have different effects.

When I look at this structure after being excited, I am most worried about the robustness of this system. The scissor structure is more complicated than the general Gasket or top, and the number of parts and complexity are higher. Because the scissor structure requires the use of many small precision parts, such as screws, springs, gaskets, etc., the accuracy and quality of these parts will affect the overall performance of the inner tank. In addition, the maintenance and maintenance of the scissor structure is also a big problem. Before the finished keyboard has come out, it is difficult for us to draw conclusions. Let's take a look at the design of the keyboard again.

In the appearance design of the keyboard, the integrated combination of the palm rest and the keyboard body provides us with a richer design space. At the same time, the inspiration elements of large cuts, black mirror effects and the internal structure of the piano reflect the simplicity of the modernist design style. , geometry, functionality and sense of technology, while emphasizing the expressiveness and practicality of the design, especially the hand rest design of the custom-made leather pad, which optimizes the user experience in winter and in the north. However, this integrated design also brings a problem, that is, the volume of the keyboard must be larger than the traditional design.

After half a year, FoxLab, a veteran customization studio, launched their new work 70% Alice with a small hourglass. Before talking about this beautiful kit, let's talk about FoxLab first.

Time flies and trends change. As the old custom-made Yusanjia in my heart, the once-hot FoxLab seems to have gradually faded out of the public's field of vision in the past few years. In the past, they launched the much-loved Leaf and TIME kits. These I am very impressed with the kit. The design of the hourglass 80 launched later was also very stunning, but it did not attract much attention at the time. Sunset is due to the design of the inner tank, such as the resonance sound at the corners caused by the screw holes, which is directly "Waterloo".

Speaking of the new kit, although the launch of the small hourglass this time seems to cater to the Alice craze this year, but from the perspective of the keyboard itself, the anodized treatment still maintains a first-class level. In terms of appearance, the design language of the hourglass is in the same line, and 70% of the F area is removed. Compared with 65% and 80% of the Alice arrangement, the whole is more slender, and the three-fold key layout makes the whole more compact. . Compared with the previous work, it is like a Big Mac versus a fried bun.

However, Alice itself is longer than ordinary keyboards. With such a design, the small hourglass must be more slender than conventional keyboards. Whether it looks good or not varies from person to person.

In terms of inner tank, the three-layer design and partition PCB of Hourglass 80 are used. The inner tank is fixed through the middle and upper layers, and the bottom layer is fixed with screws through the reserved holes to realize the design of hidden screws. The silicone strip is used to eliminate resonance. The hollow design of the positioning plate is almost like a silk screen. Although it is not extreme, it is outrageous enough. Judging from the assembly video, the space left inside the small hourglass is still good, and there is enough space for up and down movement.

Buying advice:

If you are a fan of Alice, the small hourglass should be a good quality choice in the near future. The anode is the first choice. My personal rating is green>blue=silver≫ electrophoresis beige>others.

Luna's exterior design has become a classic. The simple design on the front complements the narrow frame, the cutting on both sides highlights the overall R angle and arc, the large block of high-gloss PVD and engraving and the edge of the bottom arc are prominent, and a large number of rounded corners are used to make the entire keyboard appear It presents an extremely soft visual experience, and the screwless design maintains this elegance. Just like the firmness that the sun brings to people, Luna exudes a soft breath, just like the moon god.

Although the introduction of Luna70 at this time is indeed unexpected. However, it is reasonable for the Luna series to have a sequel. Although the above mentioned Luna's exterior design is highly appreciated, but in terms of facts, there have been more or less problems in the previous Luna series, mainly focusing on workmanship and interior design. As for the liner this time, Fugui "taught" OW and learned the beryllium-copper structure. Even so, I still can't guarantee that nothing will go wrong this time.

Buying advice:

After many iterations, this Luna70 may become a turning point in the series, but having said that, despite the upgraded "stainless steel", the price of 2999 is still not cheap for an "old" design. If you just like the design of Luna, it might be a good choice to accept a previous game at a reasonable price.
