The consequence of buying a lot of keyboards is that even a daughter-in-law who has no idea about keyboards knows how to use a better keyboard. Of course, her way of playing is different from mine. She just depends on the arrangement of keys and whether the keyboard looks good, such as the rigid requirement that there must be a number area. Her current main keyboard in the unit is the Black Canyon Y5 that I posted before. The full-size keys and compact layout are very suitable for office work. The elegant color scheme and magnetic hand rest also look very high-end. But pay attention, if this keyboard is in a multi-person environment, don't choose the Cangling switch. This switch is easy to use but the sound is very loud. Like me, I just replaced the switch with the Danxia switch.

After using it for a while, several colleagues in their unit also like this keyboard. But they don't play keyboards, so it's hard to understand why a keyboard can sell for 700+. My daughter-in-law asked me to help them refer to it and choose a suitable price, and this is why I bought three keyboards at a time.

I still choose Black Canyon for the keyboard, based on the following reasons:

Kaihua's son, the shaft body is specially customized, the technology is mature and the quality control is excellent, and the background of a large factory has an advantage in cost, which is reflected in the price. People feel more upscale.

In fact, I started to recommend the X series to them. Compared with the XPro, it lacks Bluetooth and hot-swappable shafts, and the price is about 100 cheaper, but they still think the Pro series is better. As for why buy three models? Their choices are X3Pro and X5Pro. I want to try X1Pro myself, so I simply buy one of each of the three models, and then they choose two and I keep one for myself.

The X1 Pro is a bit special. There is also a special storage bag, which can put all the keyboard dust cover and hand rest in it. It is quite convenient to take it with you when you go out.

▼The difference between the models is mainly reflected in the key layout and size. X5Pro is a standard 108 keyboard, X3Pro has cut off the number area on the right, X1Pro is mainly portable, and the 68-key combination layout is compact, suitable for carrying around.

▼The keyboard shell adopts a color-contrasting design scheme, and the upper and lower covers have obvious color layers. The addition of a large number of lines and right-angle elements makes the keyboard look very three-dimensional.

▼On the whole, the X Pro series does not have too many design elements, but there are no elements that reduce points.

▼The position of the arrow keys of X3Pro X5Pro has been grooved. If you often use the arrow keys, this small design will make you feel very comfortable.

▼Important! The keycap color matching of this series is the same for X3Pro/X5Pro, but X1Pro is a separate color matching, and the color matching of X1Pro is obviously much better. The color of my X1Pro is milk ice. Compared with the black forest mousse of X3Pro, the value of X5Pro's ice shake blueberry juice is much higher. But this is just personal preference.

▼In terms of workmanship, there is no difference between the three keyboards. The keycaps have clear characters, moderate thickness, no burrs at the spout, and the precision of the cross groove is very good. It is inserted in place on the shaft body at one time, and there is no room for shaking. Quality is the biggest reason why I choose Black Canyon. After all, big factories have better assembly lines and better quality control. If you choose a small brand at the same price, it is difficult not to step on the pit.

▼The keyboard positioning plate is made of steel plate, and a layer of 4mm PVE sound-proof cotton is designed between the lower PCB, positioning plate, and bottom plate, which can effectively reduce the noise generated when the shaft switch is struck, and ensure that the keyboard feels more pure and comfortable. Harsh. The shaft seat is hot-swappable with five pins, which has wide adaptability, and the stability of the five-angle shaft is much stronger than that of the tripod shaft. ▼Axis, Black Canyon once again demonstrated the importance of having a good father. Basically every keyboard of Black Canyon is a switch made by Kaihua alone, and the switch will not be sold separately to ensure uniqueness. So many friends bought the keyboard and then disassembled the switch and sold it separately. A slightly better switch can directly earn back more than half of the keyboard cost.

▼The shaft body of the XPRO series is Kailh upgraded BOX shaft, the biggest feature of the BOX shaft is The sealing mechanism formed by the shaft seat, the dust cover and the movable push rod is not only dustproof and waterproof, but also has a bonus to the service life , The new shaft is directly upgraded to a service life of 100 million times on the basis of the original BOX shaft, which is on par with the life of the optical shaft. Compared with the old version of the BOX axis, the structure of the new axis body has not changed much. The same wall-type cross axis core has excellent stability. However, the parameters are more unified, and the three most important parameters are all the same: Trigger pressure (45gf), trigger stroke (1.8mm), total stroke (3.6mm) 。

▼ The BOX sky blue switch is an upgraded version of the BOX white switch, which has a paragraph switch with sound . Everyone is familiar with the BOX white. At first, it was launched by Kaihua to replace the MX green switch. The definition is high cost performance. The biggest feature is the use of torsion springs to produce sound. This sound is produced by the internal steel wire, which can avoid the noise problem caused by using shrapnel to produce sound. In addition, in order to suppress the sound from diverging, Kaihua designed a small sound cavity inside, so that the percussion The sound is crisp but not scattered, and it won't make people feel anxious if they tap it for a long time.

▼Compared to the MX blue switch, the sky blue tone is not as strong, and the sound is not as crisp as the green switch. Of course, this is a personal preference. As far as these three keyboards are concerned, the sky blue switch is my favorite switch.

▼ BOX quicksand gold is a silent light paragraph shaft , the parameters are similar to Sky Blue, but the paragraph sense is weak and the sound is also light. This axis is actually to satisfy users who pursue a paragraph feel and a silent experience. Unfortunately, I don't like this kind of beating experience.

▼ BOX rose red is an upgraded model of the previous BOX red axis, linear axis . The red switch is the switch used by the most people. The touch feels straight up and down, and it feels smooth. It can be very balanced and compatible with games and code words. It is not unreasonable for many people to choose the red switch for the first mechanical keyboard. It may not let you Stunning but definitely won't disappoint you. The beauty of the BOX rose is very beautiful, but I think it is too light to hit, and there is no impact, but the smoothness is really good, and it is a bit like a golden powder shaft.

▼Everyone has different preferences for shafts. I used to love the linear axis, but recently I've been crazy about the paragraph axis. Personally, the two paragraph axes I'm most comfortable with at the moment are Polar Fox Axis and Cangling Axis . Especially the Cangling axis is really comfortable, and the price is more affordable than the polar fox axis. I had hoped that the BOX sky blue would bring me the surprise of the paragraph axis again, but it is still much inferior to the Cangling axis. It seems that the shaft is really worth every penny.

▼ In terms of backlight, XPRO has a white backlight, which is relatively elegant. But the battery is a problem here. The three models are all 2300mAH batteries, and the X1Pro is fine. The X5Pro has so many more keys.

The three keyboards are as I expected, but the X1Pro is the most popular, after all, it looks the best. But I still left it because the keys were too simplified and not suitable for office work. In general, this series of keyboards is quite cost-effective. Double-layer soundproof cotton, three-mode connection, hot-swappable switch/keycap, exclusive switch, self-contained backlight, magnetic hand rest, mainstream functions are all in place , can satisfy friends who are new to the keyboard, but for someone like me who likes to toss the switch, none of the three switches give people much surprises. If you value the switch as much as I do, I recommend watching it Look at Black Canyon's Y-series.

If you only consider this series and have no resistance to small-sized keyboards, then I strongly recommend X1Pro. The color of the keycaps is beautiful, there is a separate storage bag, and the battery life of the X1Pro is longer.
