Friends who are familiar with mechanical keyboards know that Dujia has a very high status in domestic mid-range mechanical keyboards, and there is even a saying that "OEMs look at Dujia highly". I personally also own two Durga keyboards, namely K310W and FUSION, and they give me a very high impression. Recently, it launched a three-mode mechanical keyboard that supports hot-swapping: K610W. I also got started right away, and I have been playing with it for a while now, so how does it perform in actual use?
This time the K610W series has two colors, one is the official name of the fog blue in my hand is "Echo", and the other is dark green, called "Island". In the selection of keys, in addition to the 104 keys I chose, it also has an 87 keys minus the small keyboard to choose from. I personally think that 104 keys look more coordinated than 87 keys, which one do you think looks better?
The reason why I prefer Dujia's keyboard is partly because of its appearance. In fact, we can see that it does not use any fancy design, and the color is only three colors from light to dark, but the overall feeling is very coordinated, including the other two models I have in hand, which are also the essence of this design.
There are six indicator lights on the upper right corner of the keyboard, which can not only be used as number keys and uppercase keys, but also can display the current connection method. The white light is relatively soft, even in low-light environments. Will ruin the overall vibe of the matte version.
It can be seen from the side that the Durga K610W uses a sandwich design similar to a sandwich structure. With the sharp-edged frame on the top, it still looks a bit interesting. The details of the keyboard are also well done, such as the LOGO at the same position as the K310W, the power switch on the top of the fuselage, and the Type-C charging port. The printing and mold opening of these parts are more detailed.
The shape of the bottom of the Durga K610W body is also concave and convex, and there is a big Durga LOGO in the center, the hidden 2.4GHz receiver storage compartment, and the rubber non-slip mats at the four corners are still not absent. This time it uses a three-stage foot support. Compared with the two-stage design, it has a larger adjustment range and a higher degree of freedom.
If you want to know more about this keyboard, let’s disassemble it layer by layer, starting with the simplest keycap. The keycaps of Duga K610W are still familiar. The OEM height, PBT material, and two-color closed-mouth molding process are all absent. From my experience in using a variety of keyboards, its keycap characters have not changed after long-term use.
After unplugging the keycap, you can see the switch body of Durga K610W. The official provides four switch bodies of red, tea, silver and mute red switch. The one in my hand is the mute red switch. The overall feel is relatively brisk. . It can be seen that it uses the satellite axis design on the large key position, which is also the consistent style of Durga, so there will be no looseness on the large key position, and it is relatively stable.
Let’s talk about the shaft body of Dujia K610W. It also uses Jiadalong’s customized crystal shaft this time. As an optimized and upgraded product based on Jiadalong’s CAP shaft, its feel is still very smooth. And this time it also supports hot-swappable design, which can be easily disassembled with the included key puller, and it is more convenient to replace it later. And as far as the convenience of disassembly is concerned, its shaft body can be disassembled after removing the keycap, without other operations, which is relatively friendly.
If you want to disassemble it further, you must first remove the upper cover of the Durga K610W. It is connected to the bottom shell through a buckle, so it is not so easy to disassemble.
The metal positioning plate of Duga K610W and the bottom case are fixed by 5 screws. After taking it off, you can see all the internal structures. Let’s talk about the metal positioning plate and the PCB first. The two are not directly connected, but a layer of silicone pad is used in the middle, which can bring better shock absorption and noise reduction effects. I used this design on the K310W I have also seen it, and it is estimated that it will become the standard configuration of Durga keyboard in the future.
The workmanship of this PCB board is still very solid, as can be seen through the full solder joints, its welding quality is very high, and there is no phenomenon of flying wires, the overall feeling is clean and smooth. Judging from the Duga LOGO printed on it, this PCB board should be customized by themselves, not the public version used.
Between the PCB board and the bottom case, Dujia added a layer of sound-absorbing cotton. I have to say that this material is indeed relatively solid. As a mass-produced keyboard, I think its configuration is indeed very rich, even catching up with the level of customization.
This time, the Durga K610W uses a 3600 mAh high-capacity lithium battery. According to the official data, it can be used for 8 hours a day, and the longest battery life can reach 360 days. Judging from the battery life of the other two keyboards in my hand, I think it should be able to reach this level.
For Dujia K610W, its rich playability is not only reflected in the replaceable shaft. In daily use, with other drivers, it can realize full-key macro settings, and through the onboard storage function, you can also enjoy personalized settings on different devices.
By the way, Dujia K610W is not only a three-mode keyboard, but also supports Windows and macOS dual-system automatic recognition function, and the official also thoughtfully provided an option key and two command keys this time, which is convenient for Apple users. At the same time, it is also compatible with mobile phones, such as iOS and Android devices.
Judging from the use during this period, the performance of Dujia K610W is indeed very good, not only has a very smooth feel, but also has a very rich gameplay. For users who want to have a high-value, high-performance, and fully customizable keyboard, Dujia K610W is indeed a product worth considering.
