I can’t remember when I bought the first personalized keycap. At first, I bought the very cheap transparent keycap with personalized pattern. Later, I bought a lot of resin and metal personalized keycaps. Two years ago, I bought a ZOMO keycap display box, but the 18-slot box soon became full, and it was discontinued when I planned to buy another box.

Personalized keycaps don’t feel like one by one when you buy them. After a long time, there are such a large pile of them unconsciously, and they can only be stuffed in a corner at ordinary times. In fact, this is not all, some of which I don’t know where I have stuffed them have not been found yet. Looking forward to the stars and looking forward to the moon, I finally looked forward to ZOMO's launch of the keycap storage box again. I pre-ordered it immediately, but because of the epidemic, I didn't get it until the end of May.

This storage box is jointly launched by ZOMO and BUGER·WORK. There are three versions, namely: One Piece theme, Mobile Suit theme, and regular style (red, black and silver). The outer packaging uses a colored envelope, and the theme patterns of the corresponding versions are printed respectively.

The inner boxes are all black cardboard boxes with top covers, and only the ZOMOPLUS+ x BUGER·WORK logo is hot stamped on the top cover. The interior is protected by EVA sponge, and the transparent top cover has a protective film to prevent scratches from causing flaws.

The accessories of the three storage boxes are basically the same, including a number of magnetic adapters, modified and spare screws of two specifications, an Allen wrench, and foot supports corresponding to the theme/color.

The magnetic adapter is mainly used to transfer compatibility between the keycap and the card slot of the storage box. It can also be directly installed on the bottom of the keycap, and then the keycap is adsorbed on the surface of the iron object.

Let's look at the basic version first, and leave the big ones behind. I chose black for the basic version, the base is made of aluminum alloy, and is colored through anodizing process; the upper cover is a five-sided high-transparency acrylic cover, which is transparent enough and has good strength, and ordinary small bumps will not easily leave traces . The storage box provides five rows of grooves. If each row is closely arranged, more than 10 1U length keycaps can be placed, and the position of the keycaps can be adjusted freely through the magnetic adapter.

The precision of the mold is very high, and the upper cover is tightly combined after being installed. It takes some effort to open the cover normally, and it will not be easily knocked off, and it also has a good dust-proof effect.

The base is composed of multiple parts, each part is made by CNC integral molding process, the overall workmanship is not to say, this has always been ZOMO's forte. The four corners of the outer frame have been chamfered, and each of the four bottom edges has a long strip of non-slip stickers. The middle layer is fixed on the base by screws, and a pad about 9mm high is set. When storing tall personalized keycaps, simply remove the pads to increase the height of the interior space.

Through the aluminum alloy feet in the accessories, two different placement methods can be realized, horizontal and vertical, and each placement method can present two different inclination angles. In addition, the keycap box also supports stacking, which can save space and store more personalized keycaps.

The One Piece version is a combination of gold and brown, and an extra curved transparent acrylic cover is provided, which looks like a treasure chest as a whole.

There are "ONE PIECE" and the flag pattern of the Straw Hat Pirates on the side, which are the finishing touches of the theme elements.

The overall structure is consistent with the ordinary version, and the height of the internal space can also be adjusted, and there are legs to achieve different display effects.

The mobile suit theme uses silver, blue and red as the main color matching, which matches the color matching of mobile suits.

The two longer sides simulate the mecha style, and "MOBILE SUIT" is printed on it.

The left and right sides look like metal grille designs that resemble thermal windows.

There is no difference in structure from other styles.

The keycap can be easily fixed in the card slot of the storage box through the magnetic adapter, and the distance between the keycaps can also be adjusted freely. A box just fits all my One Piece personalized keycaps, and there is still a little space left.

Another part of the personalized keycaps was installed by me with the mobile suit version. This storage box is the only storage box that has not adjusted the height of the internal space.

I packed all the ultra-high personality keycaps in a black regular version storage box, including: torture tools, searchlights, reactors, tertiary heads, etc. There is still more space left in this box for future use. As for the cat's claw keycaps, I plan to use the previous 18-bit storage box to pack them all.

Finally, take a look at the panorama. After all the personalized keycaps are packed in a storage box and placed on the table, the sense of accomplishment is quite strong. Pleasant to the eye may be the scene you are talking about. Compared with the personalized keycaps, the storage box is really not expensive, so I won’t talk about the extras.
