First of all, the keyboard's three-mode connection, hot-swappable support, GASKET structure, RGB lighting effect, power display and other attractive points have become the final original reason for me to finally start with this Dareu A98 keyboard.

In terms of appearance, I started with the industrial gray version. The main gray and white embellishment color match, the color matching looks calm, it is a keyboard with a color matching that is very suitable for use on simple desktops and offices, and it will not look very ostentatious. You said that it has an all-plastic body, the quality is not good, and it will feel cheap, but I hold it in my hand and it still has a lot of weight. At first glance, the workmanship and materials are in place, with full sincerity. After all, this keyboard It is also a heavy product line of Dareu.

On the left side is the three-mode switching button, which supports three connection modes: Bluetooth, wired connection, and 2.4G respectively. The side-push switching design allows you to easily switch to your favorite mode. The operation is portable and the design concept is very simple.

And there is a three-way outlet design at the bottom of the keyboard. When you use the wired mode, it can effectively provide a storage space for the wires, and get the final effect of a clean desktop and cable management. The keys and wires are separated, and you can also buy your favorite wires to complete an exclusive customized match.

At the same time, the difference from the traditional keyboard is that there is a built-in display screen in the middle of the ESC key and the F area key, which is used to intuitively understand the remaining battery capacity of the keyboard, so that there will be no embarrassing problem of forgetting to charge due to insufficient power. The built-in battery has a capacity of 400mAh. This battery capacity is not very large. It can last for a week when the light is turned on, and it can last longer without the light on.

The axis adopts Dareu’s own axis body——sky axis V3. This axis body is the third-generation version. The trigger pressure is about 40 grams. It is a linear axis. The shaft body is semi-transparent, which has a good light transmission effect and improves the penetration of light. For a high-end keyboard, the quality of the keyboard is the key point that most directly affects the experience and comfort. Dareu A98 uses PBT keycaps, after all, PBT keycaps have good wear resistance and oil resistance.

The height of the keycap is OEM, which is more suitable for gamers and office workers like me. There is not much difference in height from the original factory, just a little higher.

The RGB lighting effect can be switched by pressing the button. The overall light transmission of the keyboard is still very good, which is much stronger than a certain keyboard I used before. The PC positioning board is also made of frosted transparent material, which can disperse the light evenly and achieve a well-balanced light effect.
