According to each person's preference and actual situation, a certain type of shaft may be preferred. For example, I don’t have enough finger strength, so I don’t like switches with high pressure grams; many ashes players of competitive games like to quickly trigger switches; Some players actually have no special requirements or preferences, and they need to take into account a variety of different usage scenarios, whether it is office work or games, it is best to cover everything.

Not long ago, TTC launched two new linear switches: the flame snow switch and the flame purple switch. These two switches are a combination of gold powder and quick silver, and the performance parameters of the two switches are exactly the same, only the shell color and transparency The light scheme is different. The slogan at the time of release was: games are suitable for office work.

The parameters of the flame snow switch and the flame purple switch are as follows: trigger pressure 42±5gf, trigger stroke 1.6±0.3mm, total stroke 3.6±0.3mm, use a 23mm single-segment spring, and the life of the switch body is 100 million times. It can be seen that the trigger pressure and trigger stroke are between the values ​​of the gold powder switch and the fast silver switch. The overall feeling is a little lighter and the trigger stroke is slightly shorter, so as to achieve compatibility with various usage scenarios.

The bottom shells of the flame snow switch and the flame purple switch are made of PA material, the purple switch cover is PC color transparent, the snow switch cover is PC high-transparency material, and the switch center uses a new material POK, which will be described in detail later. And the shaft center uses a dust-proof wall structure to improve the running stability of the shaft body and the dust-proof ability of the shaft body.

In the light transmission scheme, the flame purple axis adopts the condenser lens design, and the flame snow axis is a relatively ordinary convex lens cover, and there is a display of specific lighting effects behind it.

As mentioned above, the axes of the flame snow axis and the flame purple axis use POK material. POK is the English abbreviation of Polyketone polyketone material. The wear resistance of this material is 14 times that of POM material; the impact resistance is better than nylon (PA) It is 230% higher, 1.4 times higher than POM; it also has excellent chemical resistance, hydrolysis resistance and oil resistance. It is a new type of high molecular polymer and an engineering plastic with excellent comprehensive properties.

The internal display takes the flame snow shaft as an example. It can be seen that the spring and metal terminals are silver-plated, which can greatly improve the anti-oxidation ability, avoid the blackening of the shaft feet, and improve the overall aesthetics and durability of the shaft body.

Both shafts adopt an extended shaft core design, and adopt a structure where the shaft core column touches the bottom and locates. While ensuring accurate triggering, it makes a "da da" sound when it collides with the bottom case, bringing a clear sense of confirmation. The shaft core has been lubricated before leaving the factory, and the pressing operation is very smooth without any noise.

The 23mm single-segment long spring ensures a fast and powerful rebound force, and the obvious grease on the top of the spring is an effective means to eliminate noise.

The contacts of the silver-plated metal terminals are treated with a gold-plating process, which is the so-called "wearing gold and wearing silver" process.

The flame snow switch is better on a light-colored keyboard, and the flame purple switch is more suitable for a dark keyboard/kit.

Obviously, the condenser of the flame purple axis has a better effect on concentrating the light. The brightness of the lamp beads at the front end of the axis body is brighter, but there is basically no light in other parts; the flame snow axis is more transparent as a whole, and the light presents a divergent effect. The front half of the shaft is glowing.

Pursue the overall light transmission. If you use a transparent keyboard or kit, it is more recommended to match the flame snow switch, and the keycap is also equipped with a light-transmitting keycap. The overall effect will be very beautiful; the flame purple switch is more suitable for dark keyboards/kits. With the word through keycap, there will be a good word through light effect. Generally speaking, I think the flame snow switch is more versatile, has a wider range of adaptation, and has a relatively high appearance.

Finally, let me briefly talk about the actual hands-on experience of these two switches. The pressure is moderate, and it can be felt that the trigger is a little faster than conventional switches such as gold powder, and it will not be too easy to accidentally touch; the rebound is not as strong as the fast silver switch , which is closer to the Q bomb feel of the flame red axis. The overall feeling is between the gold powder shaft and the fast silver shaft, and it is the existence of Wan essential oil. There is no problem with daily input, and you will not be tired after typing for a long time; it is triggered quickly when playing games, which is more than enough than the above. What is rare is that the bottoming sound of the flame snow switch and the flame purple switch is a little muffled and better than the sound of the previous TTC switch.

If I had to choose, in order to pursue the comfort of recording for a long time, I might still prefer the gold powder shaft with a lighter pressure in grams; Time "RUSH B", and choose the fast silver axis of the quick trigger. But if you remove all these highly purposeful requirements and choose a comprehensive balance shaft, the flame snow switch or the flame purple switch is really suitable.
