The stepless knob also feels good in the hand, whether it is damping or pressing, you can get a relatively comfortable feedback.

There is a Type-C interface and a wave switch in the upper left corner, which is very convenient for one-key Win/Mac switching.

The switch body is convenient. The V5 comes standard with Keychron’s self-developed K-pro switch. There are three kinds of switch bodies in red, green and tea, which basically cover the needs of most current players. This time I chose the K-pro red switch, the trigger force is 45gf, the trigger stroke is 2mm, and the total stroke is 4mm. At the same time, the transparent shaft cover can also reserve better performance space for RGB.

The full keyboard has a total of 5 PCB satellite axes, and they are installed with screws, which not only increases stability, but also helps users to adjust themselves. The most difficult thing to handle in the keyboard is the few big keys. The performance of the V5's big keys is still very good, and it is definitely at a level that can be used at hand.

Since it is a customized keyboard, it is not easy to disassemble it. Use the included hex wrench to unscrew the 8 golden screws.

Take a look at the structural order of the keyboard while removing it. From top to bottom, there are knobs, keycaps, shafts, upper covers, positioning plates, noise-reducing cotton interlayers, PCB boards, silicone pads, and bottom shells. Each part can be Adjust according to your own habits. If you need more sinking deformation, you can remove the bottom silicone pad.

After disassembling the top cover, you can see that the keyboard uses a Gasket structure inside. There is no rigid connection to the inner tank. Screws are used to fix the upper and lower covers. The interior is fixed by ears + Poron sliver + slotted soft support.

The biggest advantage of using the Gasket structure is that it has a certain degree of deformation inside, and it can also effectively reduce the shell resonance noise caused by typing on the keyboard.

Pull out the shaft body, and you can see the PCB board underneath. There is nothing fancy on the PCB. The RGB design of the lower light position is compatible with tripod shafts and five-pin shafts. Combined with hot-swappable, it can provide users with richer customization options. .
