How to buy Corsair K70 series? let me tell you

Hello everyone, I am Bird Terminator.

Corsair has a lot of star peripheral series, among which the K70 keyboard line is more concerned. First, the product line is relatively rich, and the functions are basically complete compared with the above flagship series, and the price/performance ratio is very good. But when there are too many products, some friends will encounter difficulties in purchasing. Today I will talk to you about the Corsair K70 series.

The current series is mainly divided into three models: K70 PRO/K70 RGB PRO, which are full-size and full-featured, and more versatile. K70 TKL is more suitable for game enthusiasts. K70 PRO MINI WIRELESS is small and portable, suitable for mobile office and can be customized. Some of the styles have Cherry shaft models and pirate ship self-developed optical shaft models. The optical shaft models must be marked with OPX.

First look at Corsair’s K70 PRO, which says K70 RGB PRO on the box. It's a full-size, full-featured model with a palm rest, media keys, and a volume wheel. The function is naturally omnipotent, and it is completely sufficient for games, office, audio, video and entertainment.

The palm rest is detachable, so you don't have to worry about taking up space on your desk. And the volume scroll wheel is liked by many friends. No matter what configuration, there will be a volume knob/scroll wheel. If you don’t have it, don’t buy it. I won’t go into details about the lighting effect. The lighting effect of Corsair iCUE is very powerful, and I recommend everyone to play it by yourself.

In terms of the optical axis, I think the naming on the box is a bit confusing. This is the new K70 PRO OPX or optical axis version, but the words OPX and RGB are gone on the box, but there are words OPX and iCUE in the lower right corner.

Although it is not written, there must be RGB lights, so don't worry about this. The optical axis version is better in terms of trigger speed, presumably game users will prefer it. The new K70 series all support AXON overspeed processing under wired connection, with a rate of return of 8000Hz, which is unparalleled in performance and response speed, but it has certain requirements for CPU performance, and I7 or above is recommended for such a high speed.

Next is the K70 RGB TKL. For office users, the lack of number keys may not be very habitual, but for gamers, it is more portable and can save more desktop space. Compared with the full-size PRO version, the media keys, volume wheel, and lighting are all equipped, but there is no palm rest.

TKL also has OPX shaft models, but I didn't get it, so I borrowed the official picture. Overall, they are similar, except that the optical axis is triggered faster. Maybe professional players will be more inclined to the optical axis when they enter TKL.

Earlier, when I was playing with the K65 RGB MINI, I said that it would be very convenient if it had wireless. The wireless version is released, but it belongs to the K70 series.

In addition to the wireless three-mode, another advantage of the MINI version is that it can be customized. The shaft body uses the standard 3-pin hot-swappable, and you can replace it with your favorite shaft body, although I think the original Cherry is good enough. After all, Corsair is Cherry's T0 partner, and they always get the best axes at the first time.

K70 MINI WIRELESS provides an FN2 key, with the original FN key and the powerful functions of iCUE, a large group of functions can be reassigned to any key on the keyboard. The keyboard also supports up to 50 groups of onboard storage. So although it is small in size, it is not lacking in functions at all.

This is quite suitable for multi-device users or those who often need to work on the go, but don’t want to compromise on the feel performance and functions, but need a high-performance keyboard. Wireless three-mode with light, can be used with any device.
