I bought another X-Bows, Crystal Ergonomic Keyboard, this time I finally have a Bluetooth keyboard~~

I don't know where to start, I became interested in ergonomic keyboards, maybe my wrists are uncomfortable, maybe it's just my yearning for new things.

I have used Microsoft Sculpt, Goldtouch, Microsoft surface ergo, and later used split keyboards Ergodox, Ergodone, and even Truly Ergonomic keyboards, KINESIS Advantage also received second-hand experience.

Gradually, I was always looking for a main keyboard. The key was not to worry about it. At that time, I had an X-Bows (it seemed to be called Pterosaur at that time) in my cabinet, and I pre-sold X-Bows on zFrontier. I bought the Nature/knight keyboard, and this became my main keyboard.

Later, considering that the workplace and home should be equipped with the same keyboard, I bought X-Bows from various channels, and changed the axis and bottom case myself, which is suitable for different scenarios.

This is one of them. The yellow axis of Jiadalong was replaced, and the unit was considered to be silent, so it was replaced with a silent axis.

Do-it-yourself wooden base

No matter how many I have changed, I have always regretted that there is no Bluetooth. At one point, I almost planned to use the Ergodone Bluetooth version as the main keyboard. In fact, I just wanted to make the table clean.

A few days ago, I found the (Pre-sale) X-Bows Crystal Programmable Ergonomic Wireless Mechanical Keyboard on the X-BOWS official website when I was casually browsing. Isn’t this exactly what I want? I contacted decisively and made a reservation. I wanted to shoot a video as soon as possible, but I have been busy with work recently. I opened it today and felt it, and wrote down my feelings and thoughts.

Of course, when it comes to keyboards, different people have different opinions. At least for me, this Bluetooth version of X-bows is still what I need.

Next, I will use this keyboard to briefly talk about my feelings about this keyboard. Since it is from the perspective of personal feelings, it may not be in line with everyone's views.

advantage:

1. There is bluetooth, there is bluetooth, there is bluetooth;

2. You can update the configuration file of the keyboard by yourself, which is simple and convenient;

3. Acrylic looks beautiful with light added;

4. The whole is very thick, compared with the previous version, this version can fit more keycaps;

5. For users who have never used X-bows, the learning cost of this version of Crystal will be lower.

Personal feelings:

1. For users who are very familiar with X-bows, it still takes a little time to get familiar with it (I have adapted after writing this, I don’t know if I will touch it by mistake when I return to Nature), after all, there are still some gaps between the distance and position of the keys and before. Yes, you will always accidentally touch CAPS, etc. After all, these keycaps have become larger. Of course, this position may be more friendly to users who used ordinary keyboards before;

2. The INSERT in the upper right corner defaults to DEL, but there is no keycap. It is recommended to have several spare keycaps for users to replace. It is also recommended to have a few replacements, as well as PAGE UP and PAGE DOWN; of course , give a few spare axes if possible;

3. As for the keycaps, I still prefer the feel of the previous keycaps. Of course, the keycaps after this arrangement are more standard, and some other keycaps can be selected; the keyboard is a bit high overall. If there are users who like to use SA keycaps , After trying it for a while, it is still a bit tiring not to use the palm rest. It is recommended to equip it with a keyboard palm rest.

4. Visually, this keyboard will be more difficult to clean in the future, which is also the price of good looks.

For a loyal X-bows fan, of course, he would like to continue the Nature/lite/knight configuration to upgrade the Bluetooth version, maybe because he is used to this configuration. There are also some other ideas, such as whether the Bluetooth upgrade can be implemented on the original Nature/lite/knight keyboard, and some accessories and tutorials can be released, so that players who are willing to DIY can transform it by themselves.
