In 618 more than a year ago, I fell in love with a mechanic's K600, but at that time I made a successful decision and chose Dareu's A98. But later, I was still "undead" about the color transparent shell of the Mechanic K600, and finally bought a 68-keyboard of the Mechanic K600 at the beginning of this year.

This keyboard is a Kaihua BOX red switch. In addition to its unique appearance, the overall quality of the keyboard is average. In addition, I really have a lot of keyboards, so it took a while after I got it. In addition to the shell, I am hardly satisfied with the keycaps, shafts and large keys of this keyboard, so I started a journey of tossing about this keyboard.

Let me first talk about my purchase list for tossing this keyboard.

First of all, let’s talk about the original keyboard of Mechanic K600-68. The keycaps are actually okay. The contrasting colors of orange, blue and white, especially the large orange characters on the white keycaps, look very clear.

This set of keycaps is opaque, and when the light is turned on, the LED light will be exposed from the side of the keyboard.

The BOX axis used is quite satisfactory, and the satellite axis is relatively ordinary, with obvious steel wire sound.

The satellite axis of Fuling has a good reputation in the player circle, but it was wiped out by rk R87, a 100-yuan keyboard under rk, some time ago. However, it is sufficient as a replacement for the conventional satellite axis and the general keyboard, but the price is a bit expensive.

Kingston HyperX Alloy originated from water shafts, and now there are really fewer and fewer tea-like shafts, and even fewer are doing well, so there is the saying of cherry tea YYDS, but the new version of cherry tea shafts is still too dry after all. .

The water shaft is now sold in a certain treasure. I am not sure if it is a disassembled shaft. The price of a shaft is about 2.5 yuan. And this shaft body is quite beautiful, it is said that it is manufactured by TTC.

The first is to pull off all the keycaps to expose the BOX red switch. Kaihua BOX Red is a very cost-effective shaft, but the texture and rebound are still a bit poor when knocked.

Next is to remove the shaft. Finally, the positioning board and the PCB board below are exposed.

If you are completely tossing, you can consider adding bottom cotton, adding a pad under the shaft, and sticking masking paper. But I don't have such high requirements.

The keyboard itself has a silicone sandwich cotton, and an important reason why there is no bottom cotton is to allow the LED lights to shine through the bottom. The cushion under the shaft is actually of little significance to the tea-like shaft.

The new satellite shaft must be lubricated before it is put on. I just dipped it and didn't add much oil.

A brand new keyboard with all the large keys and switches on it. Without the keycaps, this switch matches the dark blue case very well.

My niece started helping me put on the keycaps.

The final finished keyboard, how should I put it, the keycap of the whistle is very in line with my aesthetics, and it belongs to a relatively elegant style, but I always feel that it does not match this kit.

So I had the idea of ​​changing the keycaps again.

In addition, because the keycaps are opaque, and even if the keycaps of the whistle set are white, there is actually a little bit of blue mixed into them, so the color of the backlight that shines through the gaps in the keycaps also changes.

First look at the actual color of the LED light from the back.

And in the light that passed through, the bright colors were basically suppressed, leaving only the blue-green light.

I need a set of keycaps that let light through.

Now think about it, would it be better to buy Taihao's keycaps? But at that time, I felt that the color of Taihao was not enough to match.

The entire keycap seems to be emulsified, a bit like a jelly keycap.

The light transmission effect is about this level.

The next step is the familiar work of dismantling the shaft. The last part was not taken, but this photo shows that the color of the satellite axis and the water axis is almost the same, as if it is the original.

After assembly, there is a clear gap with the expected effect, and the kit and keycaps have a clear sense of splitting.

The chrysanthemums of this set of keycaps are very close, and it is easy to take off the shafts when the keycaps are removed.

After turning on the light, the effect is a little better.

This set of keycaps, anyway, sees through the red backlight very well.

The actual effect is lower than expected, this set is ASA height ball cap.

The following one is considered the best angle. It should be said that this keycap is tight except that the chrysanthemum is tight, and F and J have no positioning blind spots. Other aspects are okay, but it is not very suitable for this keycap.

Perhaps, the best match for this keyboard will be this set of transparent keycaps from Zhitip Wenchuang? However, the price of 300 yuan still allows me to think again.
