Key words key words Part 1: Joystick may become a new hot spot of mechanical keyboard, Hello Ganss75T experience

Recently, I bought two Hello Ganss keyboards in succession. The first one is the HS87T with the bottom cotton sound insulation cotton, and the other is the HS75T wallaby switch that was shipped half a month after the order was placed. Reasonably speaking, the current price of the wallaby switch is more than half of Ganss’s contribution to the price of Xianyu. Another classic switch, the Zhixia switch, is also very valuable.

The 75% keyboard is the hot spot this year, so we don’t need to go into details. The biggest highlight of this keyboard is the joystick above the direction area in the lower right corner except for the switch. Although Ganss is not the first brand to put the joystick on the mechanical keyboard, I believe that the mechanical keyboard circle that has been rolled to the extreme will soon popularize the joystick design on more keyboards.

Let’s talk about market positioning first. At present, 75% of the most popular keyboards in this price range are Kazzi’s K75. Due to the limited chip production capacity, it has always been in a state of disappearing in seconds, but now it should be possible to buy pre-sale products. In theory, as long as there is a little Be patient, you can get the product around November.

The main advantage of Kazzi is that it has Kuaiyin V2, silent red switch body, and Gasket structure, but because it is a PC positioning board and design reasons, many people feel that the texture is not enough. The actual experience, the sound is nice, the feel is good and the big keys are first-class.

There are also 87-key Royal Axe Y87 and R87 at this price, but they have returned to the daily price for the time being, and there will continue to be active prices during the Double 11 period, which will not be considered for the time being. If your purchase plan is more than a month away, it can still be considered.

VGN81 is a very popular keyboard recently. It also has a Gsaket structure and a TTC axis. You can pay attention to it later. I just downloaded the pad digital area it is equipped with, but it will not be shipped until the end of September. It is recommended to wait and see this keyboard for the time being. I know he really wants to do it well, but there are too many assembly problems in the first-generation version. Even if you send a bunch of satellite switches, you can’t hope that players can modify everything by themselves.

The last one is RK H81, which can actually be regarded as an absolute competitor of HS75T. The washing machine-like knob is really impressive, but the flame red switch, Gasket structure, the key is in stock, and the price is in the early 400s, which is still very competitive.

This keyboard does not have a Gasket structure, which is considered hard. Although I never think that Gasket is necessary, but recently the market recognizes this, there is no way.

① Knob

In appearance, it is a more male-model design, but a little change has been made. One is that a white LED light is added under the knob on the upper right corner. Some people say it is a bit dazzling.

Because it is small, when using it, it is very easy to press the thumb to the top Del on the rightmost row.

The good news is that with a little force, the knob can be pulled out with a standard 6mm screw head underneath, and there are plenty of public version knobs that can be replaced online.

②Joystick

The biggest innovation point is the essence. The surrounding RGB lights are quite beautiful, and the texture is probably at a passing level, not cheap, but not too much better, probably not at an uncomfortable level.

By default, the brightness and speed of the backlight are intelligently adjusted, but the function can be changed through the driver, which will be described in detail later, after all, I may be one of the first to get the driver.

③ Wallaby axis

One of Jiadalong's popular switch bodies recently, the early stage switch on the crystal cover, has a very nice bottoming sound, so that even without Gasket, the sound of HS75T is very pleasing to the ear. When it was first launched, the price of the wallaby switch was 399 yuan. Now the price has increased, and it is very likely that it will not return to the original price.

But at the current price, I think it is still worth it.

In addition to the wallaby, there is also its own shaft, the price is very cheap, and it has never been used. There is also a polar fox axis that is said to be very close to the ceiling of the paragraph axis. I learned that the summer axis is the same price as the wallaby, and the price has also increased simultaneously. The current price is also very worthwhile. First-time users earn money when they buy it.

Finally, I would like to talk about something that is not a selling point. The reason for buying a 75% keyboard is that it has a more reasonable layout than the 87 keys, takes up less space, and is not as crowded as the 84 arrangement. There is a reasonable space between each key. Relatively speaking, the arrow keys and the main key area of some early 75% molds are not isolated, which will increase the chance of false touch to a certain extent, so if you can buy the arrow keys separated, try not to buy one that is crowded together.

I originally ordered the white feather color, but later I realized that my Daryou A87pro is also the same color, and this smoke cloud purple really looks better the more it looks, so during the long waiting process of nearly half a month from the shooting to the delivery, I Contact customer service for a color change.

Actual proof, this color matching is really good-looking.

Ganss seems to have high hopes for this 75T, so that the added keycaps are more than their other keyboards. The following is the keycap of the HS 87T just bought two days ago. The above is 75T. The 75T should be included as a gift. It's a small set, with everything in the digital area.

There are double dry battery compartments on the back. The advantage of dry battery design is that it does not require frequent charging, especially the 75T has dual battery compartments, which can hold 4 AA batteries, and the theoretical battery life is 600 hours. But the disadvantage is that the backlight cannot be turned on in the wireless state, which has been criticized all the time.

Three-mode switching slider, brand LOGO, C port. Ganss's keyboards are basically male-model designs, basically useless, and most people find them pleasing to the eye.

Two-stage foot support, PBT keycaps, that's about it.

When talking about the selling points, I have already mentioned some user experience, so I will briefly talk about it here.

To reiterate, in fact, when connecting to a desktop computer, wireless is really not needed from a practical point of view, but such an extra line on the desktop will really affect the cleanliness. If I ignore the line like me, the impact will be even greater...

The qualified level of light brightness is, after all, only the traditional light position.

The whole workmanship is still online, there is no obvious problem, and it is well-behaved.

There was a problem that the large key was very fleshy on the 87T before.

It has been greatly improved on the 75T, but except that the backspace is perfect, the carriage return and space are still fleshy.

The problem is a hole Ganss dug himself. In the spirit of customization, the configuration must be full. This keyboard has an under-shaft pad, but the under-shaft pad is not slotted under the dummy shaft of the large key, which will cause the bottom not to be brittle enough, or even sticky.

It is said that the follow-up will solve this problem.

Although the Magic Cafe AE98 I bought before, the self-assembled CIY 67, and the Kezhi K75 I tested also have under-axis pads, but I still think this thing is really not just necessary for a keyboard, and if it is not good, I will avoid it. greater than profit.

There is nothing to say about the wallaby switch. As an early stage switch, the bottoming sound is good, and it is actually far more suitable for games than the ordinary loud paragraph switch. It was said before that the linear axis is straight up and down is the most suitable for games, but because there is an obvious sense of confirmation in the large paragraphs in advance, and the sense of confirmation is in the front, the delay brought to the operation is relatively small, so it is still very suitable for many games.

I think that apart from action games and FPS games, it is a good choice to advance the big paragraph axis.

Speaking of the keycap, the workmanship is not bad, and it is obvious that the large key part has an inner groove to prevent friction with the shaft and cause the key to be stuck. As a closed two-color PBT keycap, each character has no obvious concave and convex feeling, and it is still online as a whole.

You want the 8 in the number area and the characters of Ctrl, win, ALt on the left and the characters on the right to be inconsistent in thickness, well, that is true.

It's not for perfectionists, monofilament is fine.

This firmware may not be an official version, and it can only be used for HS75T for the time being.

All keys can customize functions and keys, Fn-level keys can be freely edited, and the software has a high degree of freedom, but it is much better than those drivers that can only change the backlight and add a few macros.

This driver is relatively complete among the current domestic keyboards.

Let’s not talk about adjusting the backlight, music rhythm, etc., just go directly to the key points, adjust the function of the knob and joystick.

In the picture above, you can already see that the knob has two arrows that rotate left and right, and the joystick has four arrows that rotate up, down, left, and right.

In the logic of this drive, the six arrows in total are actually equivalent to six regular buttons, and you can set them to letters if you like.

But back to the customization itself, what functions can it achieve?

Needless to say, the macro definition is quite useful in some games. I don't play games very much, so I usually don't do it. Multi-key is more practical. For example, the left joystick can be set to Ctrl+ALT+Del to realize one-key screenshot of QQ or WeChat. Or set the left and right to Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V respectively.

The multimedia function has certain significance for friends who often listen to music on the computer.

Mouse functions include left, middle, right click, double click, scroll up and down.

But there is a pity here, I don’t know if it will be improved in the future, that is, after scrolling up and down, you can only scroll once, even if the joystick is always pressed down and does not return to the original position, the page will not slide again. If you want to slide continuously, you need to continuously move the joystick again and again. I hope it can be improved in the future.

It is a pity that it does not support left and right sliding, but although my Logitech Master3 supports left and right sliding scroll wheels, it is actually incompatible in many cases, so this should be a problem at the win level. Even with this function, the experience will not be very good.

Although there is no Gasket structure, the overall standard of this keyboard is acceptable, and there are no obvious shortcomings. The most important thing is that the joystick design and the wallaby switch and Zhixia switch are really very eye-catching.

Regarding the advantages and disadvantages, about the advantages and disadvantages, this article also made it clearer.

Advantages: wallaby switches/Zhixia switches, knobs, joysticks, drives, and a full set of supplementary keycaps that can be made small

Disadvantages: Non-Gasket, large keys with no holes in the under-shaft pad, small problems with keycap printing

The dry battery has a long battery life, and the inability to turn on the lights wirelessly is both an advantage and a disadvantage.

To sum up, if you are going to buy a keyboard with a large paragraph switch in advance or 75% of the paragraph switch, then it is definitely a very high-end choice. If you want to buy a keyboard with a linear axis, its competitiveness is relatively weak, including the Kuaiyin V2 axis that may be released in the follow-up, but the price may not be very good, but if you like its joystick very much, you can also consider it .

I guess, after the Hello Ganss HS75T, there will be more keyboards with joysticks on the market.
