But a few days ago, I received a new product from Black Canyon, the Y5 with 108 keys. After using it for two days, I feel that Black Canyon is really going to be a success this time.

First of all, this Y5 is not a mass version for the time being, and will make some improvements when it is launched in large quantities. In addition to the Y5 with 108 keys, 75% of Y2 with 82 keys and Y3 with 87 keys will be launched together.

The accessories of Black Canyon are full of sincerity as always. In addition to the basic configuration such as warranty card, manual, shaft puller, key puller, and data cable, there are 2 more cards.

They are the year card of the Rooster and the card of Aquarius respectively. So if you are lucky, do you have to buy at least 12 Black Canyon keyboards to get the twelve constellations?

The characters on this keyboard are blue, which matches well with the white, but after I pulled off the keycaps, I found out that there are more interesting things inside.

It continues the well-received large hand rest of the X series, but this time it goes a step further. The surface of the hand rest has become a skin-like material, which is very comfortable to the touch.

The biggest highlight is the four small expressions above the arrow keys, which are four blue indicator lights. You may have guessed what the little black square below is.

Black Canyon has equipped the Y series with a brand-new switch body this time. The linear switch in my hand is Danxiahong. In addition, there are Cangling switch, Yanmo switch and deep sea mute switch V2.

The two-color keycap, the light-transmitting structure inside is actually light blue. Compared with the traditional white plastic, this appearance and texture are much higher. This is the first time I have seen a similar design in a mass-produced keyboard.

Of course, there is no hot-swappable shaft seat, and it is also Kaihua’s shaft seat without guessing. After unplugging the shaft, you can see the double-layer sound insulation structure of silicone + foam inside.

The back is black, with a three-way outlet design. There is a 2.4G receiver hidden behind it, and two-stage feet.

In addition, Black Canyon really fills up the interior of this keyboard. When you tap the back cover, the sound is very real. This Y5 is also the heaviest of all my plastic keyboards.

In recent years, there have been more and more keycaps with contrasting colors and theme keycaps, and solid-color backlit keyboards are basically black. This time, Black Canyon launched such a pure white keycap, which looks really fresh.

The wireless mode switch of this keyboard is on the side, which is a slider structure, and it is different from my original habit, it is turned on by swiping back, and off when pushed forward.

In addition, the front side of this keyboard has a very large slope, which looks very much like a warship.

In addition, the 2.4G receiver of Black Canyon is really big, and it feels like it stands out from the crowd when it is plugged into the HUB. But later I found out that the back can be taken off, and there is a C port inside, which is very convenient when connecting to a notebook.

The 2.4G and Bluetooth mode switching of Y5 is also something I have never seen on the keyboard. It is two round white buttons, and the outside of the button is an LED ring. Among them, the Bluetooth will show different channels when it is in different channels. s color.

The light effect after the keyboard is turned on is also very good, the brightness is sufficient, and the non-glare rainbow light scrolls very smoothly and naturally.

The four indicator lights above the arrow keys glow blue when they are on, and the black part below is the power display. When I posted the picture of Y5 on the forum, there were actually a lot of criticisms about this display, some people liked it and some didn't. However, from my personal use, first of all, the blue-ray character display is very consistent with the tonality of this keyboard, and secondly, the display of remaining power does bring a lot of convenience to daily use.

It should be said that the light transmission effect of this set of keycaps is very good, and it is definitely the first echelon of all light transmission keycaps, especially the white part of the keycaps has a sunscreen, so there will be no cheap feeling of light transmission.

It is still said that this set of keycaps is a ball cap made of PBT material. It is higher than the conventional keycaps but slightly shorter than the height of SA.

As mentioned earlier, mine is the brand new Danxia switch of Black Canyon. As a linear switch, the smoothness is very good, and the percussion texture is better than my own box switch. The key is that the transparent red top cover is full of beauty.

The positioning board is made of PC material, and the keyboard itself adopts the Gasket structure. The combination of the two makes the hand feel very soft and elastic.

It is worth mentioning that the large keys of the X series are already very good, and the large keys of this Y series are even better. Whether it is space, carriage return, or Shift, all the big keys can be said to be faultless. There is no steel wire sound when pressed, and the rebound is neat without any sloppy fleshy feeling.

It should be said that the level of large keys of these domestic mechanical keyboards is getting higher and higher this year.
