In fact, the Gasket structure is only one of the various structures used in customized mechanical keyboards. In addition, there are many special structures with different characteristics. And TOP is a relatively popular structure other than Gasket. It fixes the positioning plate and the upper shell together, and it also has a good sound performance. The biggest feature is that the overall feel consistency will be better.

Compared with Gasket, the TOP structure is relatively unpopular in mass-produced keyboards, and there are very few choices. However, the colorful version of Kezhi K75, a very popular Gas structure keyboard, combines these two structures together. The original Gasket structure comes with a metal positioning plate and screws, and screw holes are reserved. For friends who like tossing or are curious about the feel of the Gasket structure, you can achieve two types of keyboard on the same keyboard by changing the positioning plate. A completely different classic customization structure.

The K75 colorful version continues the original K75 appearance mold, but the overall color matching and keycaps have changed. Compared with the retro style of the ordinary version, the K75 colorful version takes a fashionable route.

The three colors correspond to three different styles of switches. The one in my hand is a lilac switch, similar to a silver switch. It belongs to an early trigger switch, which is more suitable for gamers. However, I use it for daily typing, and it’s not because The trigger key stroke is relatively short, and there have been some accidental touches.

The trigger pressure of the purple switch is 42g, and the overall feeling pressure is between the TTC quicksilver and gold powder switches. The smoothness is very good, and the stability of the axis is also at the middle and upper level. Quicksilver.

When disassembled, this is a five-legged shaft body. There is no trace of factory lubrication on the guide rail in the shaft, but the concave guide rail reduces the contact area of ​​the side wall and thus reduces friction. Compared with the previous normal version, the colorful version has improved appearance, higher cost of keycaps, and the switch body has been replaced by its own Nine Zi products, but the overall feel basically maintains the level of the previous version, while the price has dropped slightly. Next is the disassembly part, after all, changing the TOP structure itself also needs to be disassembled. But what I want to say is that this keyboard should not be designed for dual structure at first, so it is not friendly in terms of disassembly, mainly because the gap between the upper and lower seams is relatively small. It is relatively thick and cannot be plugged in. It is recommended to bring your own crowbar.

Moreover, there are four screws under the foot stickers at the four corners of the bottom case. You need to remove the foot stickers to disassemble the keyboard. Four extra foot stickers are randomly given to the keyboard. In other words, if you want to disassemble the keyboard once, it’s okay, but after dismantling it a few times, you may not have any foot stickers...

After it is completely disassembled, you can see that the internal filling structure is relatively sufficient. The bottom is double-layer filling, which is PE foam and a layer of molded silicone pad.

The built-in 3750mAh battery is considered to be the conventional battery capacity of 75% of the keyboard at this price.

Between the positioning board and the PCB is a white PE shaft underpad and white poron cotton. The conventional poron is black. Kezhi chose the white version obviously to make the lighting effect of this keyboard better.

This small white silicone ring is used for cushioning, which is also a common method for mass-produced keyboards.

Changing the TOP structure Xu Xiao disassembled the case, and removed all the keycaps and shafts. The PC positioning plate is relatively soft, so when removing the shaft, it is easy to press the shaft puller.

After all the parts are dismantled, replace them. Note that there are screws between the positioning board and the PCB. When disassembling, replace it with the metal positioning board that comes in the package. The screw is screwed back, and the shaft body is installed back.

Note that because of the TOP structure, the positioning plate needs to be fixed on the upper cover, so use the screws provided in the box to screw the positioning plate and the upper cover tightly together.

Then connect the various plug-in wires, buckle the cover, tighten the screws, and turn on the power to use it.

The actual experience of the TOP structure can be said to be completely different from Gasket, which emphasizes soft playing and pure sound performance. The TOP structure is quite tough, but the overall consistency is indeed very good.

Speaking of the feel of the TOP structure, I think it may be more suitable for gamers to choose, because the feedback of the button will be clearer when it touches the bottom, and it will not have the sticky feeling of the PC positioning board.

But in terms of sound performance, Gasket is still better. Of course, if TOP itself uses a thick shaft body, it will also have a relatively good sound experience.

After all, regardless of the structure, TOP is an enhanced version of the hull in terms of feel, and the gap with traditional keyboards is not so obvious. Typing for a long time is not as easy to get tired as Gasket plus PC positioning board. But as a gaming keyboard and the pursuit of consistent experience, TOP has more advantages.

Generally speaking, for daily use, and friends who do not feel that Gasket will cause discomfort in the game, I still recommend using the Gasket structure.
