Apple Magic Keyboard for iPad 2021 is designed to work with the 11-inch iPad Pro or iPad Air, or the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, depending on the iPad size. It connects to the iPad using the Smart Connector and uses the iPad's power, which means you don't have to worry about charging it. However, since it uses the iPad's power, you may need to charge your iPad more often. Can't use it with any other device, but it's not meant to be compatible with anything other than an iPad. It has a USB Type-C port on the Smart Connector hinge for pass-through charging so you can charge your iPad, but it's heavy and might not be practical when traveling. Also, while a folio case, it only protects the back of the iPad and not the sides.
