Keyboard Recommendation Series Part 4: The most suitable keyboard for programming-NuPhy Air75

The NuPhy Air75 is a compact (75%) mechanical keyboard with thin keycaps and a slim frame. Its connectivity options are excellent, as you can connect wired with a charging cable, or wirelessly with a USB dongle or Bluetooth. You can also pair it with up to three devices at the same time. The Gateron Low-Profile Brown switches provide a comfortable and lightweight typing experience, but low-profile blue or linear red switches are also available. Plus, it's hot-swappable, which means you can swap out the shafts if you choose. Its low-profile spherical PBT keycaps feel nice on the fingertips, and overall, the keyboard feels really good. The keys are opaque, so you can't see the keys clearly when you turn on the RGB backlight in the dark.

Gaming Performance The NuPhy Air75 is an excellent gaming keyboard. Due to the special nature of their switches, the pre-travel distance is very short, which means that the keys feel responsive. It feels nice and comfortable to use without a wrist rest thanks to the keyboard's low profile. Additionally, each key is macro-programmable, and its accompanying software allows for the creation of profiles and custom RGB lighting. But the RGB backlight doesn't shine through the keycaps, so it's hard to see in the dark.

Mobile Performance The NuPhy Air75 is an excellent keyboard for mobile devices and tablets. Excellent workmanship, slim design, easy to carry. It can be connected wirelessly via its USB receiver or Bluetooth, and it supports multi-device pairing with up to three devices. There is a switch on the top of the keyboard to set your connection type and set the operating system you use the keyboard with. It is mostly compatible with all operating systems, but some keys don't work on Linux, iOS, Android and iPadOS. But it's a bit heavier than some dedicated travel keyboards.

Office performance NuPhy Air75 is a very suitable keyboard for office use. Due to the relatively reasonable layout and design, you will not feel tired after long-term use, because you don't need to bend your wrist upwards. It feels well-made, and the Gateron Low Profile Brown switches provide a light typing experience and an almost instant tactile click. The switches are also quiet when typing, making them ideal for use in open office environments. In low light, it may cause some inconvenience because the backlight cannot see through the keycaps.

When it comes to programming performance, the NuPhy Air75 is an excellent programming keyboard. Gateron Low Profile Brown switches provide a lightweight typing experience and a near-instantaneous tactile impact. It's worth noting that it's hot-swappable, so if you don't like the feel of the stock switches, you can swap them out for your own. Even without the wrist rest, it feels very sturdy and comfortable for long hours of use. Using the switches on top, you can set the keyboard's operating system and connection type, and it can pair wirelessly with up to three devices. Additionally, all keys are macro-programmable.

Entertainment Performance The NuPhy Air75 is a solid keyboard for a home theater PC setup. You can use it wirelessly via the USB dongle or Bluetooth, so you don't need to worry about connecting cables to your HTPC. While it doesn't have a trackpad or a volume scroll wheel, it has media hotkeys so you can browse through media very easily. It does have full RGB backlighting, but the key legends aren't light-transmissive, so you can't see them in dark environments.
