Maotou Evaluation Part 56: The more you use it, the smoother it becomes 丨 Kaihua Turbo Switch Blessed Dujia Hi Keys three-mode mechanical keyboard unboxing evaluation

Double 11 has come to Double 12 in the past, and various new products have begun to surface one after another. As the most popular electronic products in the past two years, keyboard manufacturers can’t wait to put their own front-end products on the shelves. It is the Hi Keys dual-mode keyboard in this evaluation.

Consistent with Dujia’s previous style, this Hi Keys has a very eye-catching design. The biggest change is the use of Kaihua’s new Turbo shaft for the first time. This article will share with you the experience of this new product. If it is helpful, welcome to pay attention Like and favorite Sanlianha.

According to my habit, before officially opening the box, I will give you a brief outline of the key points.

1️⃣ Private model design

The appearance of Dujia’s products has always been highly recognizable. The official said that the overall shape of Hi Keys was inspired by toast bread. In fact, I personally think it has the space elements of the 80s. The taste of UFO, friends who are tired of looking at the male model hull will definitely shine.

In addition to the interesting bottom shell that is obviously different from the public model, the keycaps of Hi Keys also adopt a new private model design, which is different from the most widely used OEM height. This set of keycaps uses a curved height + square contact surface, not only The overall look is very novel, but also in line with ergonomics.

In terms of arrangement, Hi Keys only has 84-key arrangement, which I think is much better than before. After all, Dujia was obsessed with 104 and 87 and couldn't extricate himself. There is a reason why 84, 96 and 98 arrangements became popular. Space helps a lot, and I look forward to Dujia's continued efforts to try these new solutions that better match the needs of current players.

2️⃣ Big factory hardware

The unique appearance is only one aspect. Of course, the biggest reason to buy this Hi Keys is to experience the new shaft of the old friend Kaihua. The axis of the Turbo series shaft is made of Kaihua’s own high-smooth composite POM material, which is used by Dujia all the time. The ordinary Cherry shaft can be said to be a qualitative leap. Veteran players know that the more you use the POM, the smoother it becomes.

Durga Hi Keys has two optional switches, namely Turbo Mute Red and Turbo Tea. The axis is still Kaihua’s iconic stable dust-proof structure. The trigger weight of the Turbo Mute Red switch is the standard 45g. The stroke is 0.1mm shorter than the mainstream 1.8mm, and the total stroke is increased to 4.0mm, which is longer than the traditional 3.6mm total stroke.

The Turbo Brown switch has more changes than the Turbo Mute Red. The trigger weight of 40g is much lighter than the traditional 45g. At the same time, the trigger stroke is increased from the traditional 1.8mm to 2.0mm, which also gives the tea switch the oldest four-axis body. It has brought a lot of changes, and interested friends can experience it for themselves.

Another interesting thing is that Dujia has adjusted the configuration related to battery life, and changed the traditional power supply to a BLE solution with lower power consumption. The official claims that the Bluetooth connection can be used continuously for nearly a year in the dark state, and the continuous use in the light state is the longest. It can be three months, which can be regarded as a good shining point.

Comparing the memory and Viper mouse in the picture below, it can be seen that the overall volume of Hi Keys is not too large, and it can be easily carried in a computer bag, which is quite friendly for friends who have portable use.

Dujia Hi Keys are configured as 84 keys, compared with the regular 104 keys, the small number area on the right is missing, and compared with the regular 87 keys, several Function keys that are not commonly used are deleted, so the length is shorter than 87.

I would like to praise the color by name. Personally, I am not very willing to choose silver digital products. The reason is that if the color tone is not well adjusted, it will be very cheap. Hi Keys personally thinks that it has done a good job in this area. The matte + silver design is full of futuristic.

In addition to the excellent color selection, the details of the seams can be seen that the workmanship details of Hi Keys are also much higher than those of the same price, and the silver color of the bottom shell will change slightly with the surrounding light, which looks a bit aluminum Lumpy taste.

On the upper left side of the fuselage is a hemispherical power switch. This light-guiding material feels comfortable to the touch, and the height of the protrusion is more suitable for blind operation. At the same time, there is also a matching white status indicator light inside, which will flash when the battery is low.

There is an independent indium-plated toggle switch on the left side of the top of the fuselage. Toggle it to switch between 2.4G, Bluetooth 1 and Bluetooth 2 devices. The damping is relatively large, and there is a click sound similar to the green switch when the toggle is triggered.

Since Hi Keys is just a dual-mode keyboard, the C port in the middle of the top can only be used for charging. If it is a charging head, users should remember to connect the 5V2A port, which can trigger a three-hour fast charging protocol.

As I said before, Hi keys use a special arc-shaped keycap, which is indeed quite beautiful from the side, but the actual input feel is very different from the regular OEM height, and it takes a certain amount of time to get used to it after getting started.

There is one thing to say, the material used in this set of keycaps is really beautiful, the main color is milky white, and the color matching is relatively jumpy silver and orange, especially the character design, the bottom function keys are marked with Windows and Mac at the same time, it looks quite advanced .

I removed the keycaps of several main keys and took a look. The material is relatively thick, and the part that touches the fingers is quite matte. It is the second best among the mass-produced keycaps I have used. The details of the nozzle and the chrysanthemum are well handled. The evaluation of this set of keycaps is the starting level of a single sale of two hundred.

Unlike most other manufacturers who don't care about the back design, Hi Keys has a lot of details on the back, except for the large Durgod logo at the bottom, there are many details hidden.

The standard heightened feet are not the key point. Hi Keys adds a whole piece of non-slip silicone pad on the top, even if you don’t use the keyboard with feet, it is not easy to slip sideways during intense typing.

On the side of the foot support is a hidden 2.4G receiver storage compartment. The hatch cover and the interior of the compartment are both magnetically designed, and the magnetic force is quite strong to prevent the loss of the receiver.

On the whole, I personally like the appearance of Dujia Hi Keys. It is round and pink, and it is more suitable for pure white desktop players and girls. Next, let’s talk about the feel.

As mentioned at the very beginning, Dujia Hi Keys uses Kaihua’s newly released Turbo switch. The one I got is a Turbo brown switch. Since the weight of the trigger is 5g lighter than the regular brown switch, you can feel it when you press it. To the lightness that conventional large paragraphs do not have.

However, the trigger stroke of the Turbo tea has been extended to 2.0mm, and the trigger will come later than the general tea switch. However, it is rare for users who like the tea switch not to touch the bottom, so the full stroke is still 3.6mm. There are some changes in the feel, which do not affect the overall feel type.

After ten minutes of continuous input, the overall feel is good. After all, the POM axis is here, and it does become smoother the more you use it.

Personally, I think the satellite axis solution of the Hi Keys large key is just average. It doesn’t feel meaty but there are some noises. You can’t be too demanding for something with a price of 400 yuan. If you have the conditions, I suggest you to thin it out.

The pictures and texts may not be very clear, interested friends can watch the live video.

List the relevant equipment every day, and interested friends can take a look.

1️⃣ Keyboard丨DURGOD Hi Keys Dual Mode Keyboard

Introduction: This article is an evaluation product, so I won’t go into details. There are two color options of black and silver, and I personally recommend silver.

2️⃣ Mouse丨DURGOD GM90 Wired Mouse

Introduction: Friends who want to change the keyboard and mouse at the same time can consider adding a GM90. As a mouse with a hundred yuan, the configuration is quite high. The PMW3327 sensor + 8 keys are programmable, and the price is good.

3️⃣ hand Holder丨Yishiku Beech Hand Holder

Introduction: Small keyboards such as Hi Keys are recommended to be used with a palm rest, otherwise the wrist will be tired. Just get a beech or bamboo one, usually around 20 yuan.

Summarize for friends who have pulled to the end:

Dujia finally appeared in the small series keyboard. The appearance design of Hi Keys can be said to be outstanding among the public model 84 series. It is highly recognizable, and it is Bluetooth + 2.4G dual-mode. requirements apply.

The Kaihua Turbo switch used by Hi Keys for the first time is really good. The more you use the POM switch, the smoother it becomes, especially the segment switch like the tea switch.

Unfortunately, the backlight is not RGB, only monochromatic white light, and does not support wired mode input.

Finally, don’t be fooled by the pre-market price of more than 600. Including the discount, you can actually get it in the early 400s. For the Kaihua Turbo shaft and this unique design, I personally think it’s worth it, and I recommend buying it.
