The outer packaging of the cheap ass RS2 is similar to the previous products, showing the wireframe of the keyboard in a satisfactory manner.

After opening the box, you can see the keyboard*1, the key puller*1, the shaft puller*1, the plastic type-c data cable*1 with the same color as the keyboard, and the instruction manual*1. Unfortunately, the RS2 is not dustproof. cover.

Although this cheap donkey RS2 has a 98 configuration, it is completely different from other 98 configurations. You can see it clearly at a glance by putting a picture of all the 98 configurations in my hand.

The keyboard is white as a whole, and the keyboard, capitalization and charging indicators are under the Del button on the right. In the middle of the top of the keyboard is the wireless switch and wiring port, press it down to switch to wireless mode, then the number 4 will flash at this time, the default connection is wireless 2.4G mode, FN+1, 2, 3 can switch different Bluetooth devices, Like the general three-mode keyboard, it supports the connection of up to three Bluetooth devices at the same time.

However, I encountered a not-so-friendly thing in my experience, that is, when the wireless switch is switched from wireless to wired, it will not be normal immediately. You need to wait for about 2~3S. Use wired.

On the lower right of the keyboard is the logo of the cheap ass, and on the upper right corner is a relatively large knob. This knob can only control the volume, but cannot switch to control the brightness of the light.

Flip to the back, it supports two-stage foot support. After opening it and trying it out, the foot support is relatively tight, so you don’t have to worry about it will loosen when you move like this. In the middle is the storage compartment for the wireless 2.4G receiver. Although it is not magnetic, it is I lifted the keyboard and shook the receiver and it wouldn't fall off.

The keycaps are PBT two-color injection-molded keycaps, which are opaque as a whole and feel quite satisfactory, but I personally feel that the content of PBT is not particularly high, and the feel is smoother than ordinary PBT keycaps, but the one I used for evaluation There has been no oiling for a while, but the font printing in the letter area is a bit darker. When the lighting effect is not good, you need to look carefully when using it.

Because it is a keyboard with a gasket structure, I have to talk about the positioning board. The positioning board is FR4 glass fiber positioning board, which is harder than the general PC positioning board but more durable. It is not as hard as the metal positioning board, so there is a certain sinking space.

In addition to the shock-absorbing positioning plate, there are sound-absorbing cotton, pads under the shaft, and everything that should be there. The overall sound-absorbing effect of the keyboard is very good.

The big key uses a satellite switch. The dummy switch is not lubricated at the factory, and the card is relatively tight. The one in my hand has a little noise except for the back and delete key. Compared with RS2, the packaging of the cheap donkey RS6 is much higher in an instant. After all, it is a keyboard made by cheap donkey and Trick Meow. The black packaging box and the overall keyboard wireframe are reflective, and the overall design of the keyboard Also up a notch.

After opening the box, you can see the keyboard*1, the dust cover*1, the double-headed key puller*1, the aviation plug cable*1 with the same theme color as the keyboard, and the instruction manual*1. The keyboards are all transparent shells, with 98 columns + knob design, and the indicator lights are placed vertically in the middle of the letter area and number keys. I have two RS6 colors in my hand. Let’s introduce them respectively:

The Meiqi color scheme is the red one above. The keycap is composed of three colors: red, yellow, and brown. The color of the knob and the big key in the upper right corner remains the same, which is brown;

In addition to these two colors in my hand, there are two more colors that they haven’t put on sale. It’s estimated to wait and see how these two colors sell. I don’t know how to name the remaining two colors, but I like them very much. The third one is this neon color, because it is a collaboration between Chilu and Qiqumeow, so their two stores now have both black and red, but I don’t know who will put the new color on the shelves first, and I have a feeling for the new color. There are two physical switches in the upper left corner. There are three gears used to switch between wired, wireless 2.4G, and Bluetooth. The same is adapted to the Mac keys.

After the knob on the right is unplugged, a gear groove is engraved under the knob to correspond to the gear knob. The design is full, and it looks much better than the big knob of RS2. Although it is a plastic knob, the texture is very good. .

Flipping to the back, you can clearly see the effect of the RGB light through the case. I don’t know if it’s an angle problem. I personally think that the black RGB effect is more obvious.

There is a non-slip mat on the left, middle, right, top, and bottom, and the logos of Cheap Donkey and Funny Meow are printed on the upper part of the back, which proves that this keyboard is a cooperation between the two. The two foot supports on the left and right sides are relatively tight, so you don’t have to worry about the mobile keyboard falling off when you use it.

The inclination angles of 8° and 11° are clearly printed on the first and second footrests, respectively, to inform the player of the inclination angle of the keyboard after turning on the footrests...It’s very detailed when you think about it carefully, but if you think about it seriously, is it really nothing? Use hahaha.

There is a plastic counterweight in the middle of the keyboard, or it may not be a counterweight. It may be that there is nothing in the middle of the back and it is relatively empty. A plastic shell design is added to ensure the symmetrical aesthetics.

The keycaps are also PBT two-color injection-molded keycaps, but the feel and character printing are better than those of RS2. The keys in the F area do not have multimedia printing functions, and the overall feeling is more refreshing.

Same as RS2, hot-swappable supports both tripod and pentapod axes, but there is no pad under the shaft. What I want to say here is that the white positioning plate is used for the red model, and the black positioning plate is used for the black model to ensure the same light transmission effect of the keyboard. , is quite detailed.

In terms of large keys, it is slightly better than RS2. The dummy shaft is lubricated and there is no noise at the factory. The red dummy shaft and the sound-absorbing cotton under the space are all white, and the black space is used for both the false shaft and the sound-absorbing cotton. Black, always ensure that the theme color of the keyboard is consistent, it is worthy of you, mark.

Because the switches used by RS2 and RS6 are the same, I put the switches of the two keyboards together.

The optional switches are Jiadalong’s basic red and brown switches. Unlike before, there is no option for the green version. These two switches are more universal. There is nothing special to say about the switches. The parameters are basic. The same, that is, if you like linear shafts, choose Jiadalong G red, and if you like slight passages and a little sound, choose Jiadalong G tea. They are all lubricated shafts from the factory, and the feel is not bad.

If you need a keyboard for office use, and you don’t mind the appearance and RGB, I suggest that you can close your eyes and get on the car RS2. This is the cheapest gasket structure among mass-produced keyboards, and it is still in 98 configuration. The consistency of the feel is very good. , that is, it takes a few seconds to wake up when the wired connection is switched, and there are no other major problems.

If you are a good-looking party and use it for playing games, then this RS6 must be your dish. The overall appearance of the transparent shell design is very high, the factory tuning is good, and the design of Qiqu Miaojia products is quite good.
