The Cherry MX8.2 XAGA Yaoshi series in my hand is the morning glow theme, all pink, the keycap and noise reduction structure have been upgraded on the basis of MX8.2, and the shell is wrapped in a full circle of CNC-crafted aluminum alloy , the touch and texture are very online, and Cherry's craftsmanship in this area has always been beyond doubt!

In the upper left corner is the wireless 2.4G, Bluetooth, and wired connection indicators of the keyboard. To the right of the indicators is a relatively tight physical switch to prevent daily accidental touches. In the middle is the TYPE-C interface.

On the lower right corner is the Cherry logo. If you look carefully, you will find that the middle frame is slightly higher than the positioning board, and it may accumulate dust after long-term use.

Flipping to the back, maybe considering the stability of the wireless, the bottom shell is not made of metal, but plastic, and the anti-skid pad is also exquisitely designed, with a long strip on the top and bottom~

At first glance, the keycaps are thought to be double-skin milk keycaps. In fact, they are special three-sided light-transmitting keycaps. One side is made of PBT material, and three sides are frosted and light-transmitting. The side facing the player has anti-glare shielding.

The overall characters are printed in red, centered on the upper side, and some keycaps are printed with multimedia function keys, which saves the user the trouble of memorizing the combination of keys.

The two lower corners have a certain radian to prevent the user from having a sharp cutting feeling when touching the keycap.

The blank space is the morning glow pattern made by dye-sublimation technology, echoing the theme of this pink keyboard morning glow, quite romantic~

The large key uses the satellite axis scheme, and the cherry logo is printed on the right side of the space when it is disassembled. The white key is still used in the white scheme, and it is lubricated to a certain extent when leaving the factory. However, in my personal experience, the space has some noise, but There is no sensuality and does not affect daily use.

In terms of shafts, Cherry silver shafts and brown shafts are optional. These two shafts are also the two Cherry shafts that I personally recommend. The Zhaoxia (pink) in my hand is only available with silver switches. As a game player, I also love silver switches!

Even in 2022, the longevity of Cherry switches is still one of the best, but Cherry switches still have unavoidable spring sound problems. However, seeing the news of Cherry’s new switches today, I think Cherry is still listening to players’ opinions and making its own. Change. It is said that high-strength grease is used! ! !

Speaking of this keyboard, with the three-sided matte light-transmitting keycap, the overall RGB effect of the keyboard is still good, and the appearance is very high. You can switch between different RGB effects through FN+F12 or the driver.

Different from the Cherry low-axis keys previously evaluated, the 8.2 Cherry driver shortcut key is on the Esc key. Press FN+esc for the first time, and it will automatically jump to the Cherry driver download page to download the Cherry driver.

After installation, every time you press and hold FN+esc, you will directly open the driver, which is more convenient.

After turning on the driver, you can check the battery level of the keyboard, and choose your favorite RGB lighting effect according to the preset lighting effect:

For gamers, the 87-key TKL layout of Cherry MX8.2 Yaoshi is completely sufficient, and basically the number keys are not used in daily life. Coupled with Cherry's self-developed wireless technology, you don't have to worry about delays when connecting to a computer with a wireless 2.4G connection to play games. Cherry silver switches are also configured for gamers.

I tested the keyboard myself during intense CSGO deathmatch practice, and it was a breeze to use, with the 87 keys freeing up more room for my mouse to position.

In my personal gaming experience for a few days, there is no disconnection in the wireless connection. The design of the two anti-skid pads is relatively reliable when placed on the table to play the game keyboard, and it is not easy to slide.

Cherry has upgraded the keycap and noise reduction structure on the basis of MX8.2 this time, and lubricated the dummy shaft of the satellite shaft at the factory. Overall, it is quite gratifying, and it also allows me to see that Cherry listens to players to a certain extent. Opinions, to update and improve their own products.

This keyboard is not perfect, and there are also regrets that there is no spring sound on the shaft body, no storage compartment for the wireless 2.4G receiver, and no hot-swappable, but if you like the metal shell of Cherry MX8.2, you like to look cool If you want to buy a mechanical keyboard that can be used for a long time, this Cherry MX8.2 XAGA Yaoshi series can be used.
