My favorite little keyboard, you are finally back

I bought a K1 brown switch short switch mechanical keyboard made by Jingdong before, which inspired me to play with the keyboard a little bit carefully. In fact, I didn't want to play it seriously. Now I'm not as interested in moving things as I used to, and I don't have extra energy to fiddle with it. Out of the long-term love for the digital keyboard, I should add something new to my desktop during the Chinese New Year. The previous K1 happened to be an 87-key version without a digital keyboard, so I bought a mojoPad transparent mechanical digital keyboard from MelGeek.

Almost since I switched to the Mac system, I have never used a numeric keypad. It has been 7 or 8 years. Even if I use an external keyboard, I use a keyboard without a numeric area. The latest K1 low-axis mechanical keyboard It also has 87 keys without a numeric keypad. But I still miss the refreshing feel of entering numbers on the small keyboard. The earliest use of the digital keyboard was an internship before graduation from university. Because I studied sociology and caught up with the national census during the internship, I was thrown to help enter the census data. There are a lot of numbers in the data, so I fell in love with the feel of using the small keyboard to input numbers. It only takes 3 fingers to quickly type a long string of numbers, which is much more enjoyable than slowly looking for numbers on the horizontal number keys!

I still chose the small keyboard with brown switches. In fact, I didn’t want to choose mojoPad at first, because it is not cheap after all. But I don't really like the shape of most of the small keyboards. It seems that only this transparent version is more pleasing to the eye. After all, I like the transparent Optimus Prime very much.

But it seems that the actual product is not as satisfying as the official picture. The volume is quite large, and the internal structure exposed by the transparent version is messy and not neat enough. With the addition of the text on the side of the keyboard, the bonus of the transparent version is completely offset. The contrasting color design of the keycaps is also not so brilliant.

Fortunately, it is very convenient to use. There are three common connection methods, type-C wired connection, Bluetooth, and USB wireless. The wireless connector is still in the shape of a building block with particle bumps. The Bluetooth connection is very convenient, and it is easy to connect. The Mac system said that it did not recognize the keyboard, and it did not affect the use.

The keyboard has a built-in 2500mAh rechargeable battery, which is charged through type-C, and it will go to sleep when not in use, so the power can be used for a long time. The keyboard tapping feeling is satisfactory enough for me, and the numeric keypad is not often used anyway. MelGeek provides custom software, but the definition of the small keyboard is relatively small, and I haven't thought of how to play it yet.

Aunt Zhang also gave a keycap with the word "value" before. The K1 keyboard is not suitable because it has a short shaft. The small keyboard of MelGeek has a normal-height key shaft, which can be installed perfectly, but the shape is not uniform.
