KEYCHRON, a keyboard brand, has been the hottest mechanical keyboard brand on YouTube in the past few years. It is a brand established by a group of keyboard enthusiasts with more than ten years of experience in keyboard manufacturing and industrial design.

The K3 keyboard has always been a popular product in the KEYCHRON product line. The use of the short axis makes this keyboard have a thin and compact shape, and it also has a good tapping feel of a mechanical keyboard. K3 Pro is a keyboard with 75% configuration, independent F area, number area and function keys, which is very convenient to use and greatly improves the convenience of operation. Compared with the K3, the most intuitive upgrade of the K3 Pro is that the upper cover of the keyboard has been upgraded from the previous plastic material to an anodized aluminum cover. K3 Pro is still a dual-mode keyboard, which supports wired connection and Bluetooth connection, and supports WIN/IOS system at the same time. These switches are located on the upper left side of the keyboard, which can be operated blindly with one hand.

The short shaft body has always been the biggest feature of K3. The shaft body is produced by Jiadalong. Since it is called a short shaft, in terms of height, the height of the short shaft is much shorter than that of ordinary shafts. The biggest feeling that the short switch gives me is that the button has a stronger rebound force, the percussion feedback is sharper, and the sound is more crisp than the ordinary switch.

K3 Pro also launched a hot-swappable version this time, but I don’t think anyone will replace the short switch with a normal switch, otherwise why buy a low switch keyboard.

The keycaps of the K3 Pro are LSA-height keycaps to match the short shaft. The keycaps are made of PBT two-color injection molding process, which is not easy to oil. With the K3 Pro's ergonomically designed feet, the entire keyboard looks like a ladder from the side. The biggest advantage of the short shaft is that the height that the fingers and wrists need to lift when typing is much lower than the normal shaft body, which can greatly reduce the fatigue of the fingers and wrists.

K3 Pro adopts the independent light control key, which can directly switch 22 different RGB light effects with one key, and there is no need to look for the manual because of forgetting the key combination of turning on and off the light. The 1550mah capacity battery also guarantees a certain endurance, and it can work for 33 hours on standby after 4 hours of charging. K3 Pro can directly adjust the saturation and hue of RGB colors through the combination of function keys, which greatly increases the playability of K3 Pro lighting effects.

The upper cover and the bottom box of K3 Pro are fixed by screws, but the screws affect the front of the upper cover under the keycap, and there is no screw visible on the entire keyboard after the keycap is installed.

As a dual-mode keyboard, K3 Pro is compatible with MAC/WIN system. The distance between the devices does not exceed 10 meters, and it can connect to 3 devices at the same time. IPAD/mobile phone/computer can be switched freely. The K3 Pro has definitely worked hard on Bluetooth wake-up this time. It adopts a brand-new ST chip solution, which can directly wake up with one key when the keyboard is sleeping. You don’t need to tap the keyboard to wake up before you can start typing. There are cases of omissions.
