More importantly, compared with other big brands that cost five or six hundred, the upstart GM1000 can be bought for less than four hundred, so why not buy it.

▲The keyboard has three themes: Crane Dance and Moonlight, More Than Green, Dragon Tenghu Leap, both in name and actual style with a strong national charm. The Crane Dance Moonlight I chose is more in the style of ink painting, and the overall tone is mainly blue and black. It looks more stable when used on a desk, not so eye-catching, especially when the theme keycaps have not been replaced.

▲The keycaps are all made of PBT material, thermal sublimation process, two-color injection molding, and the letter area and number area are black keycaps.

▲The other buttons are blue keycaps with uniform golden fonts, and they are closed. The partitions seem to be distinct. While the layout is compact, the possibility of mispressing is reduced to a certain extent in operation, especially the number area of ​​the small keyboard.

Among them, the width of the carriage return and the right shift are the same, which is difficult to identify, and the difference is mainly based on their height.

The keyboard has 4 switch bodies to choose from, namely box white, box red; G yellow pro, G silver pro.

In terms of brand: the first two are produced by Kaihua, and the latter two are produced by Jiadalong.

In terms of price: the prices of the first three are the same, while the G silver pro is 60 more expensive.

In terms of feel: box white is segmental, and the latter three are linear.

▲ GM1000 is very interesting. The four types of shafts equipped are not considered as mainstream shafts. The only thing I have ever used is the Box white switch. When this switch first came out five or six years ago, my impression of it was super good, but I gave it away later. Last year, I accidentally used a box white switch from my colleague, and found it was very stuck. In order to prove the initial feeling, I chose the box white this time. After I got it, I couldn't wait to use it, and found that there was no stickiness at all, and the hand feel was still smooth. The trigger weight was 45g, which was consistent with the green switch, and the sound was crisp. There is a hearty feeling that cannot be stopped.

▲The keyboard supports hot swapping. In the future, the shaft body will age and the hand feel will decline. You can easily replace the shaft body by yourself. The axis plate conforms to the times and is compatible with tripod and pentapod axes.

▲By the way, the height of the keycap is the height of the original factory. The lower edge of the keyboard is not too high. When the keyboard is placed directly on the table, it can be used without the keyboard tray, but it is recommended to open the legs.

▲The keyboard is compactly arranged, with a total of 100 keys. Seeing 100 keys, you may think of the common 98 layout now, but GM1000 is different. At first glance, it looks like a 104-arranged keyboard with the middle editing area cut off, and the letter area and small keyboard area pieced together. Some mechanical keyboard manufacturers have done this before. The advantage is that the keyboard can be made shorter and more compact, and at a glance, the key arrangement is more regular. The size of the common 98 layout keyboard is about 385×140mm, and the size of GM1000 is 368×120mm, which is shorter, narrower and takes up less space on the desktop.

However, the lack of editing area still has a certain impact on document editing, so GM1000 adjusts the layout as much as possible, stuffs as many function keys as possible, and keeps all the editing areas except ins. It is said that the ins key is the key I hate the most. one.

The layout has become compact, and the impact is that there are many places that I need to re-adapt to when I get started.

Looking at the above non-standard classifications, some have little effect on me, like F1, which I rarely use in my daily life; for example, the keyboard is equipped with pbt keycaps, which are wear-resistant and oil-resistant, and cannot be replaced if they cannot be replaced, and some keycaps are now available. The keycaps produced by the manufacturer are perfect, and these non-standard situations have been taken into consideration. The most influential is the position of del and Fn, because most of the keyboards I have personally used have ctrl on the far right and Fn in the middle.

In addition to 2.4g wireless, the keyboard also has Bluetooth, so it can be used with computers, mobile phones, and tablets. I have been using the keyboard for almost a week now, only during working hours, and the amount of typing is not large. ▲The keyboard has an RGB backlight, but because the keycaps are not transparent, the keyboard can only be used for touch typing when used at night, and with the non-standard configuration, it is easier to press by mistake.

Upstart GM1000 is a very comprehensive keyboard with no shortcomings. Among the three themed appearances currently on sale, Dragon Teng and Tiger Leaping look more festive, but the red and white color scheme does not look so characteristic;

Among the four switches, the G silver pro version is the most expensive. I think it should be caused by the scarcity of the switch, which does not mean that it is the best. Everyone should calmly think about what kind of feel is suitable for them.
