Speaking of the development of mechanical keyboards, there has been no such refreshing technical breakthrough for a long time, until the appearance of the shifting function of the bloody ghost T98.

The main source of the feel of a mechanical keyboard is the shaft. When the keyboard is selected and equipped with a certain type of switch, the general feel type is fixed. If you want to change, you can only replace the shaft body, so when the hot-swappable shaft plate and shaft body appear, I think it is a very convenient technical breakthrough. However, no matter how convenient it is to get to Longwangshu, it still takes a certain amount of time to unplug and insert the shaft.

▲The keyboard is very simple. Although it is not a common black keyboard, but a green keyboard, it looks very simple at first glance. From the keycap to the upper cover and the bottom shell are all army green, the keycap is slightly lighter in color, and the outer shell is slightly darker in color, which relatively forms a certain sense of hierarchy. The last keyboard with a similar color scheme is Dujia k320W (Cangluan ink), but the green color of the k320 is thicker, and the overall look has a green texture. The color scheme of T98 is slightly dry, like the army green of the early army.

▲The only color change is the LT button on the upper right, which is very red, like the red star on the brim of the military uniform. I think it might look better if it can be designed as a red star instead of LT. Anyway, people can’t understand what LT means. The LT character is not transparent, but a light window is set on it to facilitate observation of the backlight.

The keycap technology is two-color injection molding, the font part is white and transparent, and the side looks almost the same engraving or no engraving. If you look at the front from a distance, you can’t see the word clearly with a little bad eyesight.

▲But after plugging in the power, the effect is great, as if the finishing touch is general, the whole keyboard is alive, and the font color changes with the color of the backlight, or red, or blue, or yellow.

▲ After changing the camouflage accessories, I feel that the color matching of the whole keyboard has been enriched a lot. The color of the keycaps has changed more, and the color of the font has also changed more. The sense of layering is not only reflected in the vertical direction, but also in the horizontal direction, but it is a pity The camouflage keycaps are non-transparent, and the keyboard will look better when used in the daytime. I personally feel that if the camouflage keycaps can provide 37 or more keys in the letter area, the keyboard can be improved a lot.

▲The keycap is octagonal in design, whether it is the original keycap or the keycap in the accessories, it makes the keyboard look quite tough and has a military style.

▲Compared with the accessory space, the original space has two more long button columns, which cannot be detached. This is not the case with other large keys. Moreover, the two space bar caps are used interchangeably, and there is not much difference in the feel, so the function of this long key column cannot be tried at present.

▲The big key position uses the satellite shaft, the satellite shaft and the keycap chrysanthemum are tightly combined, and they will be pulled out together if you are not careful, but it doesn’t matter, just plug it back in.

▲The keyboard adopts the compact 98 configuration. There are many keyboards with this configuration on the market. If you are a user who transfers from other 98 configurations, you can get started almost immediately. The general layout has not changed, such as the position of the arrow keys, the editing area s position. If you are a user transferred from the 108 standard configuration column, I think the biggest obstacle in use is to change to the DEL button on the upper right of the keyboard.

▲The keyboard is equipped with LT optical axis, which has a linear feel. The overall workmanship is acceptable, and the shaft core shakes less. You can feel that the keycap does not shake or loose when you type continuously.

▲But the most amazing thing about the keyboard is that it has three gears, which can be switched by the LT button, and the three gears correspond to the three backlights of the keyboard. The blue backlight corresponds to gear 1, the trigger pressure of the button is 45gf, and the trigger stroke is 2.0mm, which is similar to the cherry red switch in terms of data.

In actual use, you can really feel the difference between the three gears, especially between the first gear and the third gear, you can obviously feel the pressure change; and the pressure changes between the first to the second, and the second to the third It is a bit subtle, and people with sensitive fingers can feel it accurately. It is easier to understand the change of the trigger stroke. Since the keyboard is equipped with an optical axis, the change of the stroke can be realized by changing the amount of light pressed by the axis. But the trigger pressure also changed accordingly. As a result, the official website has no introduction of this keyboard.

▲The three-way wire duct is really convenient in actual use, and the wires can be routed out reasonably according to the situation of the connected equipment. However, it is a pity that there is no three-mode keyboard.

▲The two-stage foot pads are thoughtful, but the actual use is that the first stage is a bit short, almost no different from laying flat. The height of the second section is appropriate, and it is comfortable to type on the desktop, and it would be more ideal to cooperate with the palm rest.

Bloody Ghost T98 is a very magical keyboard. The three-speed shifting function across the era is a real black technology, not a gimmick, and can be used in games or in office.
