▲When I saw this bare shaft plate, it meant that I was pulling out the shaft in pain again, and then I was ready to experience the new shaft.

▲This time I experienced the new flame purple axis released by TTC. So far this year, the TTC official website has released five products including the OG version of the tiger switch, the standard version of the tiger switch, the flagship version of the gold powder switch, the ice static switch V2, and the fast silver switch V2, but except for the tiger switch, the other models are not It's a brand new shaft.

This time finally ushered in a new axis body, from the naming point of view, it is a member of the Lieyan family, members of the family also have the flame red axis.

▲In addition, there is a flame snow switch, which is the twin switch body of the flame purple switch. I only got 10 pieces this time. Except for its different appearance, color scheme and light transmission scheme, its basic parameters and materials are the same as the purple switch, so this The introduction is still based on the flame purple axis.

▲From the appearance point of view, the color scheme has quite family characteristics. The shaft core, shaft cover, and base of the purple shaft are all purple, one purple to the end; the snow shaft is white to the end. It is rare in other TTC axles.

▲The condenser lens at the lamp hole of the purple axis is in the same line, but the snow axis is a convex lens solution. There is a small protrusion at the end of the condenser, which can be closer to the lamp bead and play the role of guiding and concentrating light.

▲The condenser can indeed play a better role in gathering the backlight. The light basically only shines through the area of ​​the condenser, and the light is uniform. The convex lens solution can clearly observe the light source and its diffusion.

▲Changing the angle, do you suddenly feel that the condenser is not fragrant, and the backlight effect is not good at all. In fact, the influence of the upper cover of the shaft body on the light is neglected. Although the shaft cover of the flame purple shaft is made of PC light-transmitting material, it has a certain degree of obstruction to the light because of the purple color, so it is more necessary to use the condenser lens; The light transmission of the shaft cover of the flame snow shaft is better, so the convex lens solution will do.

▲In low-light conditions, I can vaguely feel that the backlight of O is slightly stronger than that of P.

▲This time, I will not disassemble it, and move the picture directly from the official website. In terms of parameters, this is a linear axis with a total stroke of 3.6mm, a conduction stroke of 1.6mm, and a trigger pressure of 42gf, which is completely different from any previous TTC axis.

▲According to TTC's official promotion, this is a switch body that combines the advantages of gold powder switch and fast silver switch, which can take into account both office work and games. The trigger pressure of the flame purple axis is between 37gf of gold powder and 45gf of fast silver, and the stroke is between 2.0mm of gold powder and 1.08 of fast silver. It seems to take the advantages of both, but it is not a simple stitching, it is a bit complicated, and my little head can't understand the basis for the above parameters. But if it is regarded as a member of the flame family - the brisk trigger version of the flame red switch: the 4.0mm stroke and 2.0mm conduction stroke of the flame red switch are each shortened by 0.4mm, and the trigger pressure is reduced from 45gf to 42gf, then It's easier to understand.

On the surface, the innovation of new shafts is quite simple now, especially most of them are linear shafts, which are mainly adjusted from the three aspects of total stroke, trigger stroke, and pressure. If the parameters are changed, there will be a new shaft. There are many details.

▲Taking the flame purple axis as an example, there are roughly a few changes:

1. The spring is a single section with a length of 23mm, second only to the 24mm of the flame red shaft

2. Shaft core material changed to new material POK;

3. The shaft core is lengthened, and a column is added at the end for positioning;

4. Metal terminals and shrapnel are silver-plated.

Except for the second point, other points have been seen on the previous TTC axis. I found that TTC will boldly try some new materials on the shaft body, such as PA nylon, and this time POK. Compared with the current mainstream shaft core POM material, its main advantage is wear resistance, which can be used for a long time. no change. However, it should not be dominant in terms of self-lubrication, which can be compensated by adding lubricating oil.

▲When inserting the switch, the flame purple switch is more difficult to insert. It is relatively rough when inserted, and there is no smooth feeling. I often worry that the switch feet are not aligned. This is the case after changing two keyboards. This kind of situation is rare in TTC shafts, and it was only encountered in the last ice-quiet shaft V2. However, this situation does not exist in the flame snow axis. Since the material and parameters are the same, I don’t know if it has something to do with the final protrusion of the condenser or the production line.

▲In fact, after hands-on experience, I found that this is a fairly balanced shaft.

Although the trigger pressure is 3gf less than that of the fast silver switch, it can be obviously relieved, which is more obvious than the reduction from 45gf to 42gf of the bloody hand adjustable speed keyboard I tried before;

The springback of the shaft body is not as strong and easy-to-follow as that of Kuaiyin. It should be caused by changing the double-segment spring to a single-end spring;

Compared with the pressure, the change of stroke is not so obvious;

If it is compared with the flame red switch, you can feel the obvious difference in both aspects, but if it is like the brisk speed-up version of the flame red switch like I just said in the parameters, it is not quite right, the purple switch and the red switch It’s still different, especially when the switch body is slightly pressed and rebounded, it feels better than the red switch;

The sound of pressing the button to the bottom of the flame purple switch is more boring than the quick silver switch, flame red switch, and gold powder switch.

It is suitable for early adopters. Now there are more and more shafts, there is nothing wrong with buying new shafts to play with;

It is suitable for patients with difficulty in choosing. Now that there are more and more shafts to choose from, there is nothing wrong with buying such a balanced shaft.
