Rapoo V700-8A three-mode mechanical keyboard: 84-key compact layout, three-mode multi-device sharing

I have always wanted to buy a small and compact keyboard, but products with good looks and good performance on the market are not cheap. Recently, it finally got its wish. Viewed from the side, the rear of the middle frame of the keyboard is higher than the front, maintaining a slope as a whole. The height of the six-row keycaps is not exactly the same, and the sides are slightly higher than the middle. This design is more ergonomic and reduces wrist fatigue during daily use.

The back of the keyboard is covered by a whole piece of black plastic cover, and the four corners are designed with non-slip feet. There are supporting feet on both sides of the rear, but only one height adjustment is supported; the position near the right side bracket is designed with a toggle type Power button.

Rapoo V700-8A supports three connection methods: wired, wireless 2.4Ghz and Bluetooth, and the Bluetooth connection supports two protocols of 5.0 and 3.0 respectively. Usually with a desktop computer, I will use the wireless 2.4Ghz mode more, just plug the wireless receiver directly into the USB interface, it is very convenient to plug and play.

Thanks to the three connection methods, this keyboard can be connected to up to five devices, and you can switch between different devices through the Fn + (1-5) number shortcut keys during use, which is also very friendly for multi-device parties .

In actual use, the most direct impact on the experience is the shaft. The Rapoo V700-8A is equipped with Rapoo’s own mechanical switches, which are available in black, green, tea and red. I chose the red axis, because I usually do a little more writing work. According to the official parameters, the trigger stroke of the red switch is 2.0±0.6mm, and the trigger pressure is 45 plus or minus 15cN. Especially sour and sleepy. In addition, the noise of the red switch is smaller than that of the green switch, which is very suitable for use at home or in the office.

In the game scene, the red axis also has a good performance. For example, in my favorite game "Need for Speed", the direction of the car is mainly controlled by the arrow keys, and the space bar is used for braking. Relatively soft buttons can trigger the response more quickly, shorten the time from prediction to operation and then to response, and will give clear tactile feedback after pressing, which helps to improve game operation.
