In the years from school to work, mechanical keyboards have worn out a lot. There are red switches, green switches, and brown switches. In general, the red switches are too soft, and the green switches are too hard, linear. It can't always be well integrated with the sense of paragraph. Although the tea switch can take into account both games and office work, the sense of paragraph is also very reluctant.

Take me for example, I prefer the crisp and refreshing feel of the red switch when typing, but the spring force is always not well adjusted. Recently I heard that Raytheon has a Thunder switch keyboard Xuanlong The wireless dual-mode KL5087 has a brand-new verification of the spring strength of the green and red switches, and the price is not expensive, so I bought one and prepared to try the feel.

It’s been a while since I’ve used it. The following is my own experience during this period of time, and I will simply make a more comprehensive evaluation of this KL5087.

Let me talk about the conclusion first:

advantage:

1. The ID design is better, the appearance of the elements of the battle light wing, the game style but not exaggerated.

2. Thick anodized sandblasted aluminum alloy upper cover, the product has good texture and solid materials.

3. OEM height ABS two-color injection translucent keycap, comfortable to use and durable.

4. Customized "Thunder" axis, extremely fast trigger, 60 million times service life.

5. Support dual-mode connection, Bluetooth mode can switch three devices.

6. All-inclusive rubber tripod, the keyboard angle conforms to ergonomics, and the all-inclusive rubber anti-skid effect is better.

shortcoming:

1. In Bluetooth mode, the laptop cannot be woken up when the laptop is in deep sleep (I have tried several Bluetooth keyboards on the market and cannot wake up, it should be a common problem of Bluetooth keyboards);

2. The keyboard can run on Win XP, Win7, Win8, WIN10, and other operating systems. At present, it cannot fully support the Apple system, and can only support the typing function (tested under the MacBook Pro system))

The packaging is relatively simple. After unpacking, apart from the keyboard itself, there is only a Type-C data cable and an instruction manual; but the appearance is really good, with sandblasted aluminum alloy panels, ABS two-color injection-molded light-transmitting and wear-resistant keycaps, full Keyless punch, cool lighting, custom shaft body, these elements combine to make the product even more cool.

It can be seen that the KL5087 is not equipped with a small keyboard area that is not commonly used in games, and the overall is relatively compact. It is a standard 87-key design. There are four ice-blue indicators on the direction keys, which are Cap, Src, Bluetooth indicator and battery indicator.

The switch is divided into three stages, which are OFF, ON (turn off the light), ON (turn on the light), ON (turn off the light); the Type-C port provides a wireless + wired connection mode. I usually play games , it will turn off Bluetooth and choose a wired connection, which is more stable.

And this shaft is the Raytheon's self-developed Thunder shaft. If you look carefully, there is a word "Thunder" on the shaft. The spring strength of this shaft is quite suitable for my current use.

The ice blue light effect on the main key area is one of my favorite points. It has a bit of technological elements and a bit of sci-fi flavor;

And use the FN+INS key to switch between 19 lighting modes.

Use the FN+PAUSE key to switch the light modes on the left and right sides;

Use the FN+ (-) key (=) or you can switch the color of the left and right monochrome light modes;

Moreover, on both sides of the keyboard are fierce fighting light wings with RGB illusion lighting effects, and the colors switch over time, and the colors are radiant.

In addition, kL5087 also has a large 2000mAh battery, so its battery life is also very good. I tried to use it in pure bluetooth mode for nearly 12 hours, and it can still be used normally, and the keyboard will disappear after 2 minutes of no operation. Automatically enter the sleep state, and press any key to wake up in the sleep state, which can also reduce power consumption.

Bluetooth connection is also relatively simple, roughly divided into three steps:

1. Turn the rear switch to ON.

2. Press and hold FN+1/2/3 for three seconds to select the channel BT1/2/3-the corresponding channel button ice blue light flashes quickly;

3. Open the Bluetooth settings of the terminal device, search for the device, and select TR KL5087 5.0 or TR KL5087 3.0. After the pairing is successful, the current lighting effect will be synchronized to the button.

Overall, the cost performance of Raytheon KL5087 is quite high.
