The keyboard uses 84 keys. Because the layout is relatively compact, there are only 75% of the arrangements overall. Relatively speaking, it saves a lot of space, and at the same time retains the function keys to the greatest extent. It ensures good typing efficiency, and is more portable and saves desktop space.

The frame part is made of aluminum alloy, and it has been treated with frosted oxidation, which has a delicate touch. The frame cutting of CNC technology and the Rapoo Logo in the lower left corner also complement each other as an embellishment of the keyboard.

The keycap adopts a floating design, which has a sense of technology and is easier to clean in normal times. The material of the keycap is ABS two-color injection molding process, which has good light transmission. It is not easy to get oily after long-term use, and the matte surface is more comfortable whether it is long-term typing or gaming.

The USB-C interface is designed on the left side of the back, and the connecting cable is a separate design, which can be connected to the cable if necessary.

There are four non-slip feet on the bottom to increase the friction with the desktop and improve the stability. A one-session tutorial, designed in line with ergonomics, after unfolding, it is very good whether it is typing for a long time or playing games. For those who work in front of the computer for a long time, it can still reduce the fatigue of the wrist to a certain extent.

Experience

Rapoo V700-8A provides four types of switches: green, black, red, and tea, and the button life is as long as 60 million times. The one in my hand is a black switch, with a trigger stroke of 2.0±0.6mm and a trigger pressure of 60±20. The trigger key travel of the black switch is relatively short, and the trigger force will be slightly greater than other keys. There is a feeling of flowing water when typing, which is also the first choice for gamers. In addition to codewords, I usually play games in my spare time. For me, the black axis is quite good.

If you use one sentence to describe the connection method of Rapoo V700-8A, it is three-mode, four-four and five-connection. That is, three modes of Bluetooth, wireless and wired; four modes of Bluetooth 5.0, Bluetooth 3.0, 2.4G and wired; and connecting 5 devices. Switching between devices is also very simple, through the FN+1-5 number keys, you can easily switch between multiple devices. Switch between devices such as desktops, notebooks, and tablets with one click.

As a good office tool, the Rapoo V700-8A is not a big problem for gaming. The reason for saying this is because it supports 84 full keys without conflict in wired mode, and any 6 keys without conflict in wireless mode. It is completely enough to play games such as League of Legends and Chicken Eating every day.

Playing games naturally cannot do without the backlight. The Rapoo V700-8A supports white light. Through FN and the ctrl button on the right, you can switch the lighting effect mode. There are 6 types by default. Through the FN and arrow keys, you can adjust the brightness and flashing frequency of the light, and the playability is relatively high. If you like to toss, you can also achieve more lighting effects through the driver.

After installing the driver, the playability of this keyboard will be further enhanced. The 84 keys all support independent programming, and can also save multiple sets of configurations, and choose different operations in different scenarios. Macro editing and macro commands are also standard. For some repetitive game operations, one-click triggering is equivalent to opening a plug-in.

Using a wireless keyboard, I personally have relatively high requirements for battery life. The built-in battery of Rapoo V700-8A is as high as 4000 mAh, and it can be used continuously for about 225 hours when the backlight is turned off. This time is still very OK for me.
