SteelSeries today released the Apex 9 TKL and the 60% Apex 9 Mini, equipped with a new "OptiPoint Optical Switch" shaft body for gaming mechanical keyboards.
The new switch has a faster response, 33% faster than the previous version, with only a 0.2ms delay. The most important thing is that you can switch between 1mm and 1.5mm. Gamers can adjust according to their needs. The specific specifications of the shaft body promise a life of 100 million knocks and a pressure of 35g.
The top cover is made of 5000 series aviation aluminum, equipped with two-color pudding Double Shot PBT backlit keycaps. In addition, it has a built-in 32-bit Arm processor and memory, driven by SteelSeries Engine, and can save 5 configuration files in the configuration.
SteelSeries Apex 9 TKL measures 355mm wide, 128mm deep, 42mm high, and weighs 635g. The more compact Apex 9 Mini measures 293mm long, 103mm wide, 40mm high and weighs 676g. The tail provides a USB Type-C key line separation interface, and a detachable USB Type-C to Type-A line is sent.
The price of the new Apex 9 Mini is US$149.99 (about 1050 yuan). The price of the new Apex 9 TKL, which is slightly larger with function and arrow keys, has not been announced, and it should be slightly more expensive than the Mini version.
