It is Rapoo's first 104-key full-size customized keyboard, with a functional area in the upper right corner, suitable for friends with relatively large desktops. The keyboard adopts a narrow frame, with a silver aluminum alloy base and a pure white keycap, and the temperament is accurate. The base has a very metallic texture, which matches well with light-colored keycaps, and changing to themed keycaps can highlight your personality.

The keyboard is a bit heavy to hold. It is a pure wired keyboard and is suitable for fixed-point use. A 1.5-meter-long cable is included in the package. The key and cable are separated, which provides a lot of convenience for desktop cable storage.

There are silicone feet and non-slip stickers on the back for double insurance, ensuring that it can be used stably on a smooth desktop, whether it is slightly lifted or laid flat.

The keyboard switch adopts the Kuaiyin switch independently developed by Rapoo, and the feel of all keys is the same. It is compatible with most five-pin hot-swappable switches on the market, such as Kaihua, Gaote, Jiadalong, TTC and so on. The feel of this switch is similar to that of the red switch, but the key stroke is shorter and the rebound is faster.

The most important point is that it is a satellite switch with built-in factory lubrication. It has a lifespan of 50 million times, and it is smooth when you click continuously. You don’t need to press hard deliberately, and the rebound follows your hand. I think it is better than the red switch. It is more suitable for typing for a long time, and it is also more suitable for playing MOBA games.

In addition, I also tried another Rapoo white switch, a box of 12, with a key puller, it gave me the feeling that it has a shorter key stroke than the fast silver switch, and the key The force is lighter, the sound is smaller, and the continuous clicking speed is faster. When I have been coding for a long time or need to input a large amount of data for a long time, I will choose to change to this kind of shaft. It will feel easier to type and play. I also recommend this kind of axis for audio games.

It is also very convenient to replace these types of shafts. Use a shaft puller to clamp both ends of the shaft body, and shake it slightly to get off the base. In this way, it is convenient to replace the shaft, easy to clean, and easy to maintain. It is also a great pleasure to use hot-swappable keyboards.

It's just that in the process of inserting and removing the keycaps, I found that the material of the keycaps is soft. If I use too much force, it will cause scratches on the keycaps, which is a pity.

My favorite area of ​​this keyboard is the functional area similar to the dorsal fin on the upper right. I may not be used to it at first, but I can't live without it after a long time. It has five major functions, of which several details are worth talking about.

The M key is the office/game mode switching key. Several key schemes can be stored in the Beitong driver, and you can switch between the default and custom modes according to your usage habits.

Here I will talk about my personal commonly used settings, because I often press the ins key by mistake when typing, which will cause a series of troubles, so the first thing I did when I received the keyboard was to disable the ins key function. Then set the infrequently used keys on the keyboard to the functions that I frequently use to close the web page, create a new page, forward, back, and return to the desktop, so as to make full use of the advantages of the full-size keyboard. When playing games, I also press the fn+win key to lock the win key to avoid cutting out the screen.

The V1 key is the switching key of the lighting mode. The keyboard supports 104-key Symphony RGB backlight and supports most of the lighting effects. You can control the brightness, frequency, etc. of the lighting in the driver. What I like the most is the light effect of "which one to light up", the light effect is shown in the picture.

Through the V2 key, you can quickly switch between the light brightness and the volume control function, so that you can directly control the volume of the computer or the brightness of the keyboard through the scroll wheel on the right. This volume scroll wheel and the V3 mute key are my daily use and I like it very much. Function, it is really convenient to control the volume, the kind that you can't go back after getting used to it.

Another good detail is that the three function display lights of "NCW" are the kind of faint white lights. On this silver-white keyboard, it doesn't look obtrusive even at night. Compared with the keyboard I used before, the function The lights in the area are too bright, so I won't turn on its keypad function at all.

Summarize the evaluation. I have also used Rapoo’s previous mechanical keyboards, and I always feel that they are cost-effective, but the feel is ordinary. The Pennefather V700DIY mechanical keyboard I experienced this time is really amazing to me. The overall workmanship and design of the keyboard are very careful. The experience of switching from red switches to fast silver switches is better. The more you use it, the more you like it. From full-size customization The hot-swappable factory run shaft, and then the lighting effect, it can be said that there is almost no place for me to criticize, especially considering its price of about 200 yuan, it may be the most worthwhile mechanical keyboard for Rapoo at present.
