On December 23 last year, TTC held a new product launch conference in Shanghai in 2023. It was originally planned to join in the excitement, but it failed. The whole family started to have a high fever in mid-December, and then completely missed it. Looking at the photos of participating in the press conference posted by friends I know well, it must be false to say that I am not greedy or regretful.

At the end of the year, I received a courier from TTC. When I first saw the description of the box, I thought it should be the experience package of two high-speed rail-style new axes (Venus axis and Neptune axis) launched at the TTC new product launch conference.

Then there was an unexpected accident, this should be the same gift as the press conference, and it can be regarded as making up for the regret of not being present at the scene. In addition to the trial packs of the Rabbit Switch OG version, Venus Switch and Neptune Switch, there are also several peripheral gifts.

My personal favorite: Ferrero Chocolate. If it wasn't deliberately controlled, it should have been wiped out on the first day it was opened.

Venus switches and Neptune switches are packed in small gift boxes, each containing four switches and a keycap for the Year of the Rabbit.

The two types of high-speed rail structure shafts have the shape of "dige square circle", and the shaft cover is more rounded than the conventional MX shaft. Both axes are named after the planets in the solar system. The blue cover is the Neptune axis, and the yellow cover is the Venus axis, which is basically the same color as the corresponding planet.

Both sides of the shaft cover are designed with large buckles.

Both axes are equipped with TTC condenser lens modules, and both the axis and the bottom shell are made of high-transparency materials.

The two shafts are designed with five pins, and the appearance is basically the same except for the color of the upper cover.

The overall feel of the two TTC high-speed rail-style structural shafts is quite good. The pressing and rebounding are very smooth, just like the official description of "hot knife cutting butter", the shaft does not shake, and there is no noise. And these two shafts are linear shafts, the main difference is the pressure grams and the trigger stroke, which will be introduced in detail below.

The reason why the high-speed rail structure is called high-speed rail is because of the integrated long track design on the left and right sides of the shaft cover, the sliders on both sides of the shaft slide smoothly in the track, and the shaft center can be stable without a dustproof wall High performance.

The lower half of the two shafts use high-transmission shaft seats, silver springs, silver metal terminals and other configurations.

Metal terminals and shrapnel adopt silver-plated process and gold-plated contacts, which is the so-called "wearing gold and wearing silver" process, which can greatly increase the oxidation resistance of the shaft feet and contacts, thereby achieving a longer service life.

A close-up of the Venus shaft, the difference between the two shafts should be the difference in the details of the shaft. The sliders on both sides of the shaft center are extended from 5.2mm of the traditional mechanical shaft to 6.0mm, almost running through the entire shaft center to the top of the shaft cover, and closely fitting with the left and right rails of the shaft cover.

TTC Neptune shaft: trigger pressure 41gf, trigger stroke 2.0mm, total stroke 3.8mm, shaft life 100 million times.

TTC Venus shaft: trigger pressure 45gf, trigger stroke 1.8mm, total stroke 3.8mm, shaft life 100 million times.

The Venus axis triggers a little more force, but the trigger stroke is a little shorter, and the total stroke is the same. It is similar to the design that the quick silver switch reduces the trigger stroke compared to the gold powder switch, but the trigger pressure is increased.

The concentrator of the high-speed rail axis has a very obvious addition to the lighting effect. Friends who like to play with lights are blessed.

It feels like the tiger axis has just been released, and the Year of the Rabbit has arrived. Unlike the Tiger Switch which launched the OG version first, followed by the standard and RGB versions, this time the Rabbit Switch is launched simultaneously with the OG and RGB versions.

The upper cover of the rabbit shaft OG version is red, and the shaft and bottom case are made of high-transparency materials. On the front side of the axis body is a split image of the zodiac rabbit, and on the back there is a seal engraved "Guimao" font, which is more suitable for collection.

The shaft body number is printed on the side directly above the shaft cover, and the OG version of the rabbit shaft can enjoy a lifetime warranty.

The one-piece Zodiac rabbit pattern on the side is made of two-color injection molding process on the not-so-thick shaft cover wall to complete a more complex pattern, which is relatively difficult. Using the five-legged shaft scheme, the combination of the shaft foot and the base uses a glue-added anti-penetration process, which can better isolate external impurities from entering the shaft body.

The TTC Rabbit Switch OG version, like the Tiger Switch, belongs to the Lego-style mechanical switch structure, and also uses the "wearing gold and silver" process. The trigger pressure of the shaft body is 42gf, the trigger stroke is 1.2mm, and the total stroke is 3.8mm. The shaft center and the bottom are equipped with sound-absorbing parts. It is a "silent linear fast shaft" with a theoretical life of 100 million times.

The OG version of the TTC Rabbit Axis is not equipped with lighting components such as light guide columns and condenser mirrors due to the constraints of the zodiac rabbit pattern on the upper cover.

In the middle of the axis is a square ring-shaped sound-absorbing piece, the bottom of which is hemispherical, and the contact parts with the metal terminals are also lubricated.

The limited edition axis tester for the Year of the Rabbit with a red shell has the same Chinese zodiac rabbit pattern on the front side as on the side of the axis body, and the Chinese character "Gui Mao" is engraved on the bottom. Compatible with five-pin switches, hot-swappable, built-in button battery, RGB light effect will be triggered after pressing the switch body.

I tried it briefly, and it is smooth, quiet, stable, no noise, fast triggering, and the overall feel is very good. People who like the feel of fast silver switches should be very interested in rabbit switches. But if you let me use the OG version for daily use, I will be reluctant.

Because the shaft cover is opaque, and there is no condenser lens structure of the high-speed rail shaft, the brightness of the light emitted from the shaft is not bad, but if you really want to play with lights, it is recommended to use the RGB version of the rabbit shaft. The parameters are exactly the same, the same Lego structure, but the upper cover is replaced with a high light-transmitting material, which can better display the lighting effect.
