Taowan Keyboard Part 6: Simplicity is not simple, keychron / Jingzao K3 Bluetooth mechanical keyboard unboxing experience

I am a peach in Loudong, a cute little girl who is obsessed with mobile phone keyboards.

If the article is not too long, please bookmark it, if you find it useful, follow it?

As a newcomer to mechanical keyboards, since the last time I used the Lvlian Fun+ keyboard to experience the short axis, I can't stop feeling the brisk touch. After finishing the strategy, I want to buy another cross axis. Short-axis keyboard, replace the one you have now to change your mood. Why only look at the cross axis? Of course, it is for the convenience of changing keycaps. It is so difficult to find a keycap with a pig nose like Jiadalong...even the matching kit!

Compared with ordinary mechanical keyboards, the selection range of low-axis mechanical keyboards is much smaller. As a fan of 84/87 configurations, my options this time are: 1. keychron/Kingzao K3: Jiadalong low shaft; 2. ikbc S300: TTC short shaft, both brown shaft and green shaft are optional . The red axis is directly excluded, I don't like the soft linear axis very much.

The S300 is beautiful, and the K3 is more affordable.

At the beginning, I was not sure about the feel of Jiadalong’s short tea switch, and I didn’t want to step on the thunder after buying the keyboard, so I already bought Jiadalong’s short tea switch and 10 short green switches during Double Eleven. to try. by the way, Does anyone know what kit to use with the dwarf axle? I really want to build a low-axis keyboard by myself!

Closer to home, in the end I bought the K3 made by Jingdong, and I have been using it for a week. The short tea shaft is really brisk for office typing~ ▼

A little sense of ceremony for keyboard handover

The cardboard box of the outer packaging is quite grand, with the lines of the keyboard and the words "Bluetooth mechanical keyboard" on the front. ▲

On the back are the product specifications and product features, while the slogan and the like are placed on the side. Although the overall packaging design is simple, it still takes texture into account. It is worthy of being produced by JD.com. ▼

The accompanying accessories are also quite complete, including: Type-C data cable, shaft puller, getting started guide, replacement keycaps, and product manuals. ▼

I like its getting started guide very much. It separates some key buttons and lighting settings in the form of small cards. It can be said to be as clear as a cheat sheet, which greatly reduces the difficulty of use. ▼

The keyboard body is in 84 configuration, and the appearance is a business style with dark gray and light gray, full of sense of technology. The upper left corner is dotted with an orange ESC key, which brings a little bright color to the keyboard as a whole; the light control key in the upper right corner is gray by default, and you can also replace the bright orange keycaps in the accessories by yourself.

As a low-axis keyboard, Jingzao K3 is well controlled in terms of thickness. The overall thickness is only half of that of a conventional mechanical keyboard (I routinely pulled out my Heiji Snake DK84 to make a height comparison group), with a slightly inclined angle, plus The feet are just right. ▼

Its middle layer is made of black aluminum alloy. Last time, who complained about my DK84 being made of plastic? It is indeed slightly more textured than plastic, but not by much. The bottom is still plastic, with a pentagonal non-slip pad on the back, and a two-stage folding foot pad, allowing more adjustment options for the angle. ▼

On the side is the Type-C interface and the device switching switch, which supports Mac and Win, and it is very convenient to quickly switch between three devices with one key. ▼

the

1. This keychron/Jingzao K3 Bluetooth keyboard supports Bluetooth version 5.1, wired and Bluetooth dual-mode connection mode, and supports full key without punching in Bluetooth mode.

2. Compatible with windows/Android/IOS/MAC, dual-system compatibility basically covers the current mainstream systems and devices, use the keyboard shortcut Fn+1, 2, 3 to switch, and you can switch between the three screens at will.

3. The lithium battery has a long battery life. It uses a 1550mAh capacity battery. It is no problem to use it for a week without turning on the light.

The first feeling I got from this keyboard is: so light~ It feels a little heavier than Greenlink Fun+, but compared with my DK84, it is simply cute. Keyboard size: 306×116×22mm , net weight 484g.

As a heavy light pollution lover, I first connected the power supply and tried the lights when I got it. How should I put it... The lighting of this keyboard is very convenient to switch, although there is only white light, but! It really works! The light control key in the upper right corner can switch the light effect transformation with one key, such as fluctuating gloss, star light, trigger point light, etc., or you can switch the brightness and mode of the white light display with the Fn+F5 combination key. But...it's because it's too convenient, but it's a little embarrassing to touch it by mistake. I'm used to the Del in the upper right corner. In the first two or three days of using it, there was almost a high frequency of accidental touches. I wanted to press Del but switched the lights... It's the only small problem.

The keycaps of this Beijing-made K3 are made of ABS, two-color injection molding, and the effect of the characters through the light is very good. Before I bought it, I was a little hesitant. As we all know, the ABS material is easier to oil, but it is really fragrant after I got it. The ABS material of this keycap is delicate, and it is a bit close to the skin-like semi-matte texture, which is very good. ▼

This keyboard is equipped with Jiadalong short tea switch, the trigger pressure is 55±15gf, the movement stroke is 1.5±0.5gf, and the total stroke is 2.75±0.25gf. ▼

In terms of hand feel, the short axis is lighter than the conventional axis. It is like running 50 meters on the normal axis, but you can turn around and play back and forth at 30 meters on the low axis. It is true that typing is brisk and saves a lot of effort. Compared with the notebook keyboard, the short tea switch has a little more paragraph feeling, and the rebound is stronger, taking into account the lightness and feel. The sound of typing is also very light, and the sound of direct typing is relatively clear, which is acceptable in the office. If you add a keyboard membrane, it will be more like the so-called net red mahjong sound. The earth dog is like me. In order to prevent dust and nail splits, I always It is made of keyboard membranes of various sizes.

The shortcut keys of Jingzao K3 are exactly the same as those of the Macbook keyboard. You can also switch to the win system with one key, and the shortcut keys for adjusting brightness, volume, switching tasks, and playing and pausing are very smooth.

In terms of battery life, the battery capacity of this keyboard is 1550 mAh. According to official data, it can be used for about 35 hours when the backlight is turned off. My usage habit is to work for about 10 hours and charge it after work. This week At first, I didn't think there was any problem. In addition, this keyboard is also very good in terms of portability, and it can be taken out for meetings with a 14-15-inch computer bag. ▼

This Beijing-made K3 Bluetooth mechanical keyboard focuses on business style, with a simple and elegant appearance and exquisite keycap details. It is also very low-key when taken out for meetings.

The overall weight is moderate, and the shape is small and easy to carry. It can not only improve the work efficiency of code words and code codes in the office environment, but also can be taken home to play games.

It feels comfortable to use, and the two-stage foot support is suitable for the typing habits of different people; the short tea switch is sensitive to trigger and rebounds to follow the hand, providing users with a better experience than notebook keyboards.

The function combination keys are more playable, and the full keys in the Bluetooth state have no impact.

Finally, there are RGB and white light options.

Generally speaking, based on the price/performance ratio of its similar products, this Jingzao K3 is an entry-level low-axis mechanical keyboard of choice for home office, and it is worth buying.
