As we all know, the current e-sports players are ROG, Razer, and Logitech.

ROG , focusing on computer hardware, electromechanical fans, graphics cards, monitors, and routers are all the top of the product category, while peripherals can only be described as tepid. There are available products, but they don’t seem to be particularly popular. However, the players we love ROG are all for the whole family. ROG has relied on the name of Prodigal Eye and its excellent design style over the years. There are many good products in the field of peripherals, and the price is also advantageous. From the perspective of ROG peripherals In terms of sales, everyone has their own preferences.

Razer , is the originator of playing lights, the low-end keyboard and mouse are cost-effective, and the innovation ability is average. Razer has attracted many players by relying on the names of various dangerous small animals and the green snake LOGO. It should be ranked first. I bought the first-generation Purgatory Viper 15 years ago. It was indeed a good mouse that crossed the era. You must know that the best-selling mouse back then was the Logitech G518. The packaging of Night Devil is mediocre, and it can be seen from the size that it is not a full keyboard. I already hate the 104 full keyboard. When you have tried 98 and 74, you will never want to use a big keyboard again, especially For gamers, the small keyboard of the 104 keyboard affects the range of mouse movement too much.

The biggest selling point of this keyboard is the customized accessories. In addition to the main body of the keyboard, there is a foam box for special accessories, as well as ROG stickers and several manuals.

In the past two years, I have bought more than 30 keyboards. This is the first time I have seen a keyboard with a running switch set. In the past two years, the keyboard market has been too hot. Compared with the previous generation flagship Dragon Knight 2, Daredevil's lights will be more abundant, and both models are very beautiful.

Looking at it under the light, the keyboard shell and keycaps are dark gray, and the aluminum alloy texture on the keyboard cover is comparable to the fashionable aluminum tuatuo nowadays.

The gray and black design of the keycap is full of modern sense, and it is also very gaming-like. This small 2-inch OLED screen should be the clearest picture in the current keyboard circle. The ROG design for him is too accumulated, and it can be used with the side pulley. Lighting effect and multimedia function operation, from a practical point of view, this screen is not very useful.

Judging from the official structural diagram, Night Demon uses steel plates to limit the range of movement of the shaft body, and then arranges ten silicone gaskets around as buffers, and a layer of silicone pads is added between the steel plate and the PCB, which can greatly reduce the The cavity sound and spring sound of the shaft body, the sound of the keyboard is more pure, and with the pre-moistened shaft, the Daredevil has the feeling of mahjong sound when struck.

Pull out the shaft, and there is PORON foam in the middle of the PCB. With the sound-absorbing cotton on the bottom cover, this keyboard can be said to have no noise at all, and the overall feeling is a very advanced customized keyboard.

Although there are pulleys, ROG still arranges a lot of shortcut keys for Nightmare, for friends who are used to combination keys to set lights.

The pulley on the side is a three-way rotary pulley switch, which is very practical with a small screen.

The physical switch on the back can be set for three-mode transmission. This year, the physical switch began to appear again. Facts have proved that the physical switch is the most direct and convenient method of operation. I used to have a keyboard that all functions need to be combined with keys, so his manual I dare not throw it away.

The Type-C interface is on the left. This keyboard should not be plugged in with a cable. With the support of ROG’s SpeedNova wireless technology, the Daredevil can support 2000 hours of battery life.

Compared with the old flagship Dragon Knight 2, the workmanship of the two keyboards is good. The Dragon Knight uses a brushed process and has a certain fancy design, while the Night Devil looks a lot more low-key on the top cover.

The two keyboards should be regarded as the fengshuiling of the previous generation of e-sports flagship keyboards and modern e-sports keyboards. I believe that ROG has taken this lead, and a certain snake is coming soon...

In fact, white light is also quite good for people who don’t like light pollution. Yusanjia’s light control is very good, and it looks very textured.

The RGB color is also very positive. I lowered the highlight in this picture. As far as I have three keyboards with screens on hand, the ROG screen is the most compelling. The content on the other two screens is really hard to bear.

This wave of new keyboard and mouse design is not exaggerated, it can be regarded as ROG's own subversive design.

Connected to ASUS Armory Crate, you can make detailed settings for the keyboard, and you can customize the settings for lights and scroll wheels. The whole family is ecstatic, and even the content of the OLED screen can be replaced.

Looking at the three-piece suit from another angle, everyone who has used it knows the joy of the whole family bucket.

To summarize the feel, Nightmare is equipped with NX pre-moistened switches manufactured by ROG Kaihua, and the feel is much stronger than ordinary NX switches. Thanks to the Gasket structure, the consistency of the keys is very good, and the small keys and small keys The percussion texture is very good, and it is not easy to make typos when switching from domestic keyboards. The matte texture of the PBT keycap surface is very obvious, which is the same as the surface texture of the Dragonscale mouse. The key travel of Hawthorn Red 1.8 is suitable for games and fast typing, and it feels light. The response is fast, and the feel is comparable to that of a domestic keyboard.

Compared with changing several keyboards a year, my pursuit of the mouse is not too high. In the early years, I also pursued a mouse that can adjust the weight. I thought that the heavier the mouse, the more stable it was. After using this method, coupled with the popularity of the quantitative mouse in recent years, I really feel that for the mouse, the counterweight is a typical function designed for gimmicks. Any design and selling point must be based on the actual combat. Useful and good On the basis of use, this is the case with the GPW fire in recent years. From the initial launch of doubts, to the current process of various brands vying for the ultimate lightweight, it has proved what is really practical for the mouse.

The Moonblade wireless launched by ROG last year is quite easy to use. It weighs 75 grams and has a 36K sensor. The parameters are no problem as a flagship. The price is 449 yuan and there is still a drop. It is very competitive for GPW2, plus the blessing of the prodigal eye , there is nothing wrong with that mouse.

At the beginning of 2023, ROG launched Dragonscale ACE, a lightweight flagship. It weighs 54 grams less than Moonblade Wireless 75 grams, even 8 grams lighter than GPW2, and 7 grams heavier than thousands of Finalmouse. The cost performance of dragon scale is not high, but the ultimate lightweight is not so easy to do. GPW has been boasting for so many years, that is, the weight is good.

Take out the most fashionable GPW2 of the current e-sports team for comparison. In terms of appearance, ROG is slender, and GPW is more rounded.

The ergonomic design of these two mice is nothing to say, so many years of mouse design experience, no matter how comfortable it is to hold, especially the grip, the lightweight mouse is excellent for gripping players, and it is easy to lift and change positions.

There are also two side buttons on the side, which are a bit useful for daily Internet work. The highest dragon scale is at the rear, and the GPW is in the middle. There is not much difference in actual use. Maybe my hands are too big. This change has little effect on me.

From the front side, the two mice have symmetrical designs, and the texture of the buttons is good. Dragonscale’s buttons are slightly harder, and the pulleys are soft, while GPW’s pulleys are hard, and the buttons are soft. In comparison, the keys and pulleys of Dragonscale will feel better. , In addition, the GPW cable has not been updated to Type-C, this is really a bad review, and I have to bring a special cable for him when I go out.

GPW2 completely cut off the LOGO lights, the dragon scale only has pulleys with lights, and the weight is lighter than GPW.

In terms of appearance, there is not much difference. ROG with lights is a bonus item. It is estimated that other color versions will be released in the future. Although the white color of GPW is beautiful, but according to the evaluation, it has turned yellow. I have used it for a month and it has not happened.

The surface of GPW2 is similar to the skin-friendly texture. It is really comfortable to touch, but the grip will be very slippery. Although Logitech has equipped it with anti-slip stickers, I have no obsessive-compulsive disorder. There are some signs of oiling. The surface of the dragon scales, especially the surface of the keys, is very similar to the surface texture of the night devil's keycaps. It has a full matte texture and a clear touch. It hasn't been used for a long time, but I feel that the progress of oiling should not be so fast.

The two sides of GPW2 have a slightly curved design, which helps to make contact with fingers when grasping. There are stripes on both sides of the dragon scale to increase friction.

Dragon Scale is a model suitable for AimLab cooperation. The color of the side buttons and the front LOGO are AimLab’s color and shape. It is estimated that in addition to stamping, AimLab may provide some data to ROG for adjustment. I played a few games to try , and the feeling of GPW is not much different. In terms of parameters, Dragonscale DPI 36K, maximum speed 650 IPS, acceleration 50G, return rate 1000Hz, GPW2 DPI 26K, maximum speed 400 IPS, return rate 1000Hz, these parameters are all The performance is excessive. I only use 1400 DPI. The current parameters of acceleration and maximum speed are beyond the perception of human beings. The only rate of return can reach 1000Hz, which can meet the requirements.

In addition, as a wireless mouse, it can only be considered qualified if it can display the above water quality through wireless technology. Both of these two mice use their own unique wireless technology. There is no difference between game perception and wired, and there is no frame drop or freeze phenomenon. Appear.

The bottom also uses Teflon PTFE foot pads, and the GPW area is quite large, and the actual use of these two models has not felt any resistance.

The most proud thing about Dragon Scale is its weight. Although 8 grams lighter seems to make little difference, after I get used to the weight of GPW, I can obviously feel a little lighter when I pick up the Dragon Scale.

There is not much difference in the grip feel, and the dragon scale frosted surface can increase the touch.

This set has replaced the combination of a custom-made keyboard + GPW made in China.

The appearance is in place and the hand feels good. There is nothing to choose about this set. The only problem is that it is expensive.

Needless to say, ROG’s Armory Crate is very convenient to set up in all aspects. I couldn’t install Logitech’s G HUB software, so I finally installed an offline simplified version, directly sending data and adjusting the DPI of the mouse. pass.

For these two new products of ROG, I think it is worth a wave. My previous combination is a variety of domestic keyboards plus GPW2 or Moonblade. Now this set solves my three problems:

1. Confused about whether to choose e-sports or customized keyboard I believe that friends who have tried the new domestic custom-style keyboard are hard to let him go, but they also like Yusanjia’s gaming style. ROG’s model combines Gasket structure, aluminum lumps, scroll wheels, hot-swappable, pre-moistened Axis, basically the most popular elements are all equipped;

2. Alternatives to GPW2 , GPW is really good, but there are also problems, 1) no Type-C, 2) the surface is too smooth, 3) the parameters are not strong enough, Dragon Scale solves these three problems, and brings a lower price, I believe in the future There will be a more affordable price when rolled up;

3. Family bucket lovers , the current popular keyboard and mouse sets, either the keyboard or the mouse is not good. Most GPW2 users do not use Logitech keyboards. Although domestic keyboards are easy to use, there are basically no keyboard brands that have a good mouse. ROG is the current product line The most comprehensive and best-linked brand, if it is in place in one step, it will be better, and these two models will do.

Dragon scale mouse disadvantages:

1. Overcapacity , This is the problem of all flagship mice at present. 36K and 25K sound great, but they are not used at all. The high performance leads to high pricing. For me, whether it is GPW or Dragonscale, the price is set at two or three. Hundreds are over.
