Mickey Mouse
Mickey Mouse is a cartoon character and the mascot of The Walt Disney Company. He was created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks at the Walt Disney Studios in 1928. An anthropomorphic mouse who typically wears red shorts, large yellow shoes, and white gloves, Mickey is one of the world's most recognizable characters. Created as a replacement for a prior Disney character, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Mickey first appeared in the short Plane Crazy, debuting publicly in the short film Steamboat Willie (1928), one of the first sound cartoons. He went on to appear in over 130 films, including The Band Concert (1935), Brave Little Tailor (1938), and Fantasia (1940). Mickey appeared primarily in short films, but also occasionally in feature-length films. Ten of Mickey's cartoons were nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film, one of which, Lend a Paw, won the award in 1942. In 1978, Mickey became the first cartoon character to have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Beginning in 1930, Mickey has also been featured extensively as a comic strip character. The Mickey Mouse comic strip, drawn primarily by Floyd Gottfredson, ran for 45 years. Mickey has also appeared in comic books such as Disney Italy's Topolino, MM - Mickey Mouse Mystery Magazine, and Wizards of Mickey, and in television series such as The Mickey Mouse Club (1955-1996) and others. He also appears in other media such as video games as well as merchandising and is a meetable character at the Disney parks. Mickey generally appears alongside his girlfriend Minnie Mouse, his pet dog Pluto, his friends Donald Duck and Goofy, and his nemesis Pete, among others (see Mickey Mouse universe). Though originally characterized as a cheeky lovable rogue, Mickey was rebranded over time as a nice guy, usually seen as an honest and bodacious hero. In 2009, Disney began to rebrand the character again by putting less emphasis on his friendly, well-meaning persona and reintroducing the more menacing and stubborn sides of his personality, beginning with the video game Epic Mickey.

Do you prefer a mouse over an in-built trackpad in a laptop?
Well until the trackpad is working fine I wouldnu2019t go towards the mouse and using the trackpad also feels very comfortable to me ya but if you are not comfortable with the trackpad of your laptop you should switch to a mouse but in my opinion a trackpad would be a better option because you need not hold it every time here and there when you could do the same thing with your fingers and that too smoothly but still if you feel like switching to a mouse so you could try it out for a week. and then you can choose what is comfortable for you.Hope this helps >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.

Is there a way to catch this mouse without killing him?
There is a time to be nice and there is a time to forget the squeamishness and kill things. Get a large can of fruit or veggies or something. It is called the #2 size, roughly 4 inches in diameter and 5 inches high. Fill it half way with water. Put a paper over the top with a rubber band to hold it on. Cut an X in the paper. Set this someplace with a ruler or a stick to a nearby shelf so the mouse has easy access to it. Suspend a blob of peanut butter about 2 inches above the X. Set this up in the evening. In the morning you can dump it without looking, or you can save the can to reuse for the next mouse. FWIW, cats do not usually eat mice, they only play with them. If the mice can escape, they go away and do not come back because they do not like to be played with.

What is the basic info on a mouse?
they love to burrow and to run around so do not but too much accessories in the cage but a water bottle (not water bowl) food bowl, and 2 buts (or one but mine each have two) do NOT have more than 1 in a cage because they WILL (no matter what) fight to the death. Remember to put a wheel in the cage or the mouse will get exceedingly overweight and dies very early (feed everyday they have a fast metabolism and starve easy).

How come I cannot adjust mouse sensitivity on Ubuntu 13.10?
i have had this same problem with several different mice on my computer(s) until i plugged in the mouse i am currently using. it was slow at tracking so i was like, "DAMN!!! this sucks, and i can not adjust the speed settings either, let me google this", which brought me to this page and all the kvm switch talk which i do not really understand but i got the sense that it depends on the mouse, & what the system recognizes. so i opened up the settings to see if indeed there was anything different about when i connect this mouse and lo and behold, there were mouse and trackpad sensitivity settings that i have never seen before. so it really just depends on the mouse you are using. my mon has a wired optical mouse which although there are no settings to adjust the sensitivity, the tracking speed was just perfect, so no biggie. fortunately this one which i just connected, a microsoft wireless intellimouse explorer from around 2000 worked slow by default, but i can see sensitivity settings in the main system prefs.

Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse
Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse is a 1960 children's cartoon television show that was produced by Trans-Artists Productions and syndicated by Tele Features Inc. The characters were created by Bob Kane as a spoof of his earlier creations, Batman and Robin. In many ways, Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse presages the "campier" aspects of the later Batman live action series, which William Dozier and Howie Horwitz produced as a villain-driven action-comedy lampoon.

Is there a way to catch this mouse without killing him?
You will probably like this idea I saw on tv... Take a tall trash can (empty) and set it beside a counter. Take the tube from a roll of toilet paper, and put a small amount of peanut butter inside one end. Balance the tube on the edge of the counter, so that the end with the peanut butter sticks out over the trash can. When the mouse goes into the tube to get the peanut butter, the tube will overbalance, and fall into the trash can. If you've used a tall can, the mouse wo not be able to jump back out. Have Fun

how to convince my mom to let me have a mouse?
If you have cats getting a mouse is not a good idea because the mouse can accidently crawl out of their cage and under your door and the mouse will be eaten by your cat. Unless your cage is chew-proof and escape-proof, tell your mom that mice are clean, healty, and adorable animals and that if she does not get you one that you will be sad for the rest of your life.

Mouse models of breast cancer metastasis
Breast cancer metastatic mouse models are experimental approaches in which mice are genetically manipulated to develop a mammary tumor leading to distant focal lesions of mammary epithelium created by metastasis. Mammary cancers in mice can be caused by genetic mutations that have been identified in human cancer. This means models can be generated based upon molecular lesions consistent with the human disease.

What to do if you find a mouse in your house?
First, if the mouse got in then the cats are going to find it. Doubtful that it will have an adverse effect on the cats. I do hope you took it away from them and got rid of it outside, do not put it in a garbage can in the house, they will tear the can up to get it. As for how it got in, if you've not seen any signs of rodents before, then it is likely that it was just an unlucky mouse that found some way to get in

All you mouse owners please answer?
I know you said you do not want to use a tank but you should. Cages can cause the mouse to escape, have bloody noses, and it can irritate there fur if they rub against it. A tank you can assure they wont escape or get hurt.

Does anyone know what the name of this mouse is?
With the blue LED on the scrollwheel, I assume its laser. Try blow into the little hole where the laser is, to get rid of something that might be causing your laser to react on (a hair, dust etc.). Ive had the same problem with an earlier mouse. You might also wanna try reinstall or get the latest drivers for the mouse, if blowing into the laser-hole wont work.

Magic Mouse
The Magic Mouse is a multi-touch mouse that is manufactured and sold by Apple. It was first sold on October 20, 2009. The Magic Mouse is the first consumer mouse to have multi-touch capabilities. Taking after the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and multi-touch trackpads, the Magic Mouse allows the use of gestures such as swiping and scrolling across the top surface of the mouse to interact with desktop computers. It connects via Bluetooth and runs on two AA batteries. Apple includes two non-rechargeable batteries in the box. Until 2016, Apple sold a battery charger which could charge two AA batteries, suited for the Magic Mouse. Like its predecessor, the Mighty Mouse, the Magic Mouse is capable of control-clicking without requiring the key combination. The mouse requires minimum Mac OS X 10.5.8. It can be configured as a two-buttoned left-handed or right-handed mouse, but the default is a single button. It uses laser tracking for increased pointer accuracy over previous generation Apple mice. Since its release, it has been included along with a wireless keyboard with the 2009 generation of iMacs, and with a wired keyboard with the 2010 Mac Pro workstations. It can also be purchased separately. Initial reception to the Magic Mouse was negative, with reactions to its inability to trigger Expos, Dashboard, or Spaces, as its predecessor could, or to middle click. Many of those features can be enabled on the Magic Mouse with the use of third-party tools. Other issues centered on the Magic Mouse's ability to maintain a stable connection to Mac Pro workstations.

when i plug in my mouse it does not work why?
Consider looking for updated drivers for your mouse. If it starts working and then stops, maybe windows is overwriting incorrect drivers on top of the working installed mouse drivers. Go into device manager and find the mouse device. download some drivers for your mouse, then point the device manager to use your new drivers for the mouse. Should work

My Mouse Is Behaving Weird or Device Driver Is Behaving Weird?
If it works on one computer the mouse is OK. Go into your Mouse settings and check them. You should have options to set the double click speed, the type of pointer, and such. There should also be a test thing in the mouse settings that you can click to see if you like the speed and so forth that you set. Ron

A mouse or perhaps a rat in the house?
If you want to get rid of the mice, use what ever you can. I moved into a new subdivision a couple of years ago and that first winter we had mice everywhere. I used a newly designed snap trap that I purchased at home depot and it equated to zero suffering. I also put down a lot of poison. The poison dehydrates the mouse, and used glue traps in high traffic areas. It took about three week, but I was able to get rid of them and did not have any problems the following winter. Good Luck!

Is the EVGA TORQ X10 Gaming Mouse good?
It's as good as any other gaming mouse. There's nothing in particular that makes the Torq X10 stand out from the others, although it combines features from other mice such as the adjustable length and height and changeable weight. Aesthetically, it looks quite good with its carbon fiber shell, but that's pretty gimmicky and it wo not really help you 1-deag people in CS. It just makes it expensive. The Avago 9800 sensor is also known for having very slight mouse acceleration (undetectable physically), where as cheaper, optical sensors such as the Avago 3090 and 3095 (found in the Deathadder and G400 respectively) have no acceleration at all. So, in conclusion, it's a good mouse. There's nothing inherently wrong with it. It has some nice features such as size and weight adjustability, but has no features that other mice do not have. It's also probably going to be insanely expensive with that carbon fiber. Keep in mind that everything I've said here is purely on observation - I have not actually used the mouse. So let's break it down here for your review. Pros: Slick looking Ambidextrous 8200 DPI capability Adjustable in both size and weight Macros 9 programmable buttons Cons: Expensive (most likely)
