I've had, perhaps a similar issue, thought I would chime in on what I did that seems to have worked. BTW, I am using a wireless Logitech trackball on Ubuntu 10.04.My issue was that the left button on my Logitech wireless trackball mouse would give me lots of problems. Sometimes it would be severe, sometimes barely noticeable. Clicking would sometimes register as a left click, sometimes register as a double click, and many, many times it would fail to register at all. Dragging and dropping and copy and paste became almost impossible. I could almost never manage to highlight text. In short, life with this mouse became unbearable. This problem affected all programs and windows. I assumed the problem was with the mouse, even though I've only had it since June or July this year (2010). I focused my efforts on trying to fix the mouse. In the end, I essentially gimped up this mouse trying to make it work, but to no avail. Finally, I stopped using the mouse completely, and switched to a wired trackball that had never previously given me any problems before. However, after using the wired mouse for a few days, I started to notice that it was having the exact same problem. So, then I realized that in all likelihood, this is a problem with 10. 04. After looking around online for some time trying to come across a solution that worked for me, I stumbled across the post above about using metacity --replace. So, based on that, I was pretty certain that Compiz was the root of my mouse issues. After playing around with Ubuntu Tweak, one of the menu options, "Enable Metacity's compositing feature", mentioned that I had to manually disable visual effects in appearance. So, after disabling Visual Effects (System>Preferences>Appearance>Visual Effects then select None), the mouse is suddenly working again. I do not know if this will be a permanent solution or if it will start giving me problems again, but I thought I would mention this solution
------
Can you bathe a pet mouse?
not litterally. you can put a little dish of water in with it but leave the cleaning to the mouse

IM SAVING A MOUSE, WHAT TO DO?
First off, go wash your hands with soap and hot water if you touched the mouse, or touched anything that it touched. Then take the old hamster cage outside and put it in the shade with the door open. Come back in an hour or so, and if the mouse is dead throw everything in the cage away. If you want to keep the cage, disinfect and scrub it with a solution of bleach and hot soapy water. If its still alive, leave it there until the mouse is gone. If it happens again, put the mouse outside as soon as you can. The shock of being in a box is enough to kill some little animals.

my mouse dosnt work on my laptop?
try the mouse you bought on eBay on another comp. it sounds almost like its not getting enough power idk keep playing with it
------
how does an optical mouse works?
Optical mice do not work with lasers, laser mice do, duh. Optical mice emit light using a red LED. A sensor records successive images of the light reflected from the surface you are using it on. As you move the mouse the images will be slightly different from the previous image. The mouse then calculates the direction the image moved in and sends it to the pc and voila your cursor moves in the same direction too

i have problem with my new mouse?
Could be a few things. First of all, is the new mouse a 3.0 USB mouse in a 2.0 USB port? Is there any electrical devices, even the monitor, that may be to close to the reviever, or is the USB reciever "hidden", so to speak, such as on the back side of the computer where it may be getting interference from an electrical source between the mouse and reciever? Was the software for the new mouse installed properly, and did you remove the software from the old mouse? Open "Task Manager" and make sure the processor is not running high, which may be due to improperly installed software. But honestly, it soundds more like a communication problem between the mouse and reciever. Hope this helps you.
Try to access the Mac remotely. Better Touch Tool has an iPhone/iPad app that will let you control the mouse (a few dollars), or TeamViewer or another VNC client will let you control and see your Mac on a phone or other computer (free). No guarantees you can install these without using the mouse, though

What will become obsolete first - the monitor, keyboard or mouse?
i would say the mouse and the keyboard. computers will probably be all touchscreen soon.

what laptop mouse should I get?
Since you have a bluetooth capable laptop, I would recommend getting a bluetooth mouse. They are a bit higher in price but you do not have to sacrifice a usb port to connect wireless mouse. If you do not mind using up a usb slot, I would suggest the Logitech V320 wireless mouse. I just purchased one for my laptop and it has served me well so far. The mouse is sensitive, but no overly sensitive where 1 tug and you are off the screen. The design is also very nice for anyone to use. It is not too small or to big. It's just perfect for laptop usage. No to mention it is inexpensive (got mine for $15). Hope that helps =)

MY usb mouse wont work with windows vista?
How long have you had the mouse, how often do you use the mouse, and do you think it has served its life? You could take a look at the USB connection on the mouse side, sometimes metal can get tarnished or broken (if tarnished, steel wool but be careful). Also make sure that the light is turning on with the mouse if is uses a laser eye. Aside from that, just buy a new one, they are pretty cheap (no more than .$20)

PLEASE HELP ME I FOUND A MOUSE!!!!l?
Tell the dog to fetch the mouse.a mouse is another animal in his mind.

Is there a way to catch this mouse without killing him?
You will probably like this idea I saw on tv... Take a tall trash can (empty) and set it beside a counter. Take the tube from a roll of toilet paper, and put a small amount of peanut butter inside one end. Balance the tube on the edge of the counter, so that the end with the peanut butter sticks out over the trash can. When the mouse goes into the tube to get the peanut butter, the tube will overbalance, and fall into the trash can. If you've used a tall can, the mouse wo not be able to jump back out. Have Fun
------
My USB mouse stopped working?
The driver on your computer is most likely corrupt or your USB ports are faulty, if you have front usb on your computer use it instead or replace the mouse
------
Will this pet mouse treat recipe work?
It Will Work and cause the mouse no harm (I would try it,but im no expert) not too much honey because of the sugar. And im not sure about freezing because maybe the food may not all defrost making your mouse very sick
------
Will constantly plugging and unplugging an usb optical mouse hurt it?
As long as you are careful with the plug and socket themselves then it should be fine, 3 times a day is actually not a lot, I mean when trying to fix my computer the mouse was put in and removed constantly and it's suffered no ill effects. There is no reason for the mouse itself to be damaged in any way, the only thing that may have a very slightly shortened life-span is the plug itself, although that wo not really be a problem as the mouse will likely be replaced by that point. TL;DR Does not really matter, feel free to unplug and plug in that mouse as much as you like.

Logitech Mouse M510 Not Working?
you might need to go on the microsoft or logitech website and find a driver for it, install it, and then apply it to the mouse

CORSAIR's K70 series has always been a favorite gaming mechanical keyboard for players, and it is also a classic product in the hearts of fans. Although the K70 series has been updated for several generations, its appearance design, metal brushed panel, volume roller, detachable large hand rest, etc. have all been preserved. After all, these are the essence of the K70 and need to be continued and inherited. At the beginning of this year, CORSAIR launched the black version of the K70 RGB PRO mechanical gaming keyboard, and now it has launched the silver-white version of the K70 PRO mechanical gaming keyboard with OPX optical shafts, providing players with more choices. Now, let's take a look at how it actually performs.
包装&附件:
The packaging of the keyboard still continues the consistent style of CORSAIR, with a very high degree of brand recognition. From the introduction of the features on the back, you can quickly understand the RGB backlight, OPX optical axis, AXON super-processing technology and PBT keycaps it carries. , and this keyboard can also be adapted to PC, MAC and XBOX.
In terms of accessories, it is no different from the black version of the K70 RGB PRO. It still has a full-size hand rest, a 1.8-meter USB Type-C cable, and product manuals.
外观&细节:
The CORSAIR K70 PRO gaming mechanical keyboard still continues the family-style style. The full-size layout, silver-white aluminum alloy brushed panel, suspended bare shaft design and detachable large palm rest make it highly recognizable. The metal panel of the keyboard is made of aviation-grade aluminum, and it adopts silver anodized wire drawing process, which can bring more lightweight and durable features, and it can also make the touch feel more solid and stable when tapping.
The hand rest is fixed by magnetic attraction, and it is very convenient to disassemble and install. It is different from the K70 RGB PRO in that the hand rest is made of soft artificial leather instead of hard plastic, and there is a large area of non-slip texture on the surface. Although the hand rest is hard, but fortunately, the area is large enough to relieve the fatigue on the wrist during long-term use.
The keyboard is a classic and practical full-size arrangement, and the keycaps are of OEM height, allowing players to get started quickly. The top of the keyboard has the iconic design of CORSAIR and the multimedia control area. The three buttons on the left are for switching configuration files, adjusting the brightness of the light and locking WIN functions; The button is for the mute function, the metal scroll wheel is for adjusting the volume, and the four buttons below it are for stop, switching to the previous song, play/temporary, and switching to the next song. It is very convenient and simple for daily use.
The keyboard is still designed for the separation of key lines, and provides a more convenient USB Type-C interface on the upper left, and next to it is the newly added "competitive mode" toggle switch of the K series, and is equipped with a fixed buckle and an indicator light . In this mode, the keyboard will disable all the macro functions that have been set to make the competitive game more fair.
Its bottom design is exactly the same as that of the K70 RGB PRO. The "X"-shaped cable trough and large-area rubber anti-skid pad make it look more simple and full of strength, and the two-stage support feet can also bring more Practical angle adjustment.
键帽&轴体:
The CORSAIR K70 PRO is equipped with a set of PBT material keycaps, using two-color injection molding process, the characters are closed design with moderate thickness, the light transmittance is quite good, the overall workmanship and details are also very good, but the particles on the surface of the keycaps The feeling is more obvious, although the touch is very dry, but it will also have a rough feeling.
The keyboard is equipped with the OPX optical shaft independently developed by CORSAIR, with a linear feel scheme, the actuation pressure is about 45g, the total key travel is about 3.2mm, the actuation key travel is about 1mm, and the click life can reach 150 million times. The OPX optical shaft has a compact keystroke, smooth feel, and can quickly respond to player operations. The optical sensing structure also has lower latency than traditional physical contact, allowing players to complete more operating instructions at the same time. Has a better performance.
The large key position of the keyboard adopts the satellite axis scheme, and the overall feel is quite satisfactory, but there are still some individual differences in some large keys, and there is still room for further optimization in terms of feel.
RGB backlight:
Compared with the black version, the silver-white version of the keyboard is indeed brighter in terms of lighting brightness, and the 16.8 million-color RGB backlight still maintains a beautiful dynamic lighting smoothness, uniformity, and rich lighting effects. Corsair’s consistent benchmark level, combined with the lighting linkage function in iCUE software, can bring players a cool and rich immersive lighting atmosphere.
Use test:
The keyboard supports the full-key no-reverse solution, which can avoid problems such as interference and failure of key functions due to key conflicts, and can provide players with a more secure gaming experience. In addition, this keyboard also supports AXON super-processing technology, with a maximum return rate of 8000Hz, and supports 7 levels of return rate adjustment options, which can recognize more key commands at the same time, combined with the fast trigger feature of the OPX optical shaft, It can improve the response speed of the keyboard faster, reduce the delay of the input terminal, and allow players to perform better in intense game competitions.
The full-size key layout, the quick and light linear feel of the OPX optical switch body, and the dry and durable PBT keycaps all make this keyboard easier to use. For daily use, numerous multimedia control keys, configuration file switching keys, lighting adjustment keys, etc. can also make it adapt to more scenes, and with the large detachable hand rest, it can provide a more comfortable use feeling. Relieves fatigue from prolonged use.
Summarize:
Compared with the black version of the K70 RGB PRO, the silver-white version of the CORSAIR K70 PRO gaming mechanical keyboard is exactly the same except for the changes in the overall color and the shaft. In terms of appearance, it still continues the essence of the K series, and it still maintains a super high level of requirements in terms of performance, configuration, functions, and lighting effects, which can provide players with better hand feeling performance and user experience, and Richer choices. This keyboard is already on the market, priced at 1499 yuan, players who like it may wish to pay more attention.

I have always liked white keyboards. Refreshing and simple is my favorite. This time my husband bought me - Shuangfeiyan FSTYLER Bluetooth keyboard FBX51C. It supports the access of 3 Bluetooth devices and one 2.4G device. Tablets, IPADs, and desktop computers at home can be easily connected, and can be easily switched between these devices. It is responsive and paired quickly.
Refreshing and simple Shuangfeiyan keyboard and mouse set, including keyboard, mouse and mouse pad, I like it when I look at it, simple and elegant, narrow frame design, chocolate keycap, 1.5mm key travel, scissor foot design - that is, there is an X on the bottom of the keyboard keycap Type bracket, since the support points at the bottom of the keycap are located at the four corners of the keycap, the scissor keyboard has relatively stable use characteristics. Moreover, the keyboard has a built-in 300mAh battery, which can be used for about 2-3 months after being fully charged, and the battery life is good.
The Shuangfei Yanfei Era FB10C and mouse pad in the suit are still brilliant, supporting 2.4G/Bluetooth dual-mode, 2400 four-speed speed adjustment, and playing a board game after work is completely competent. Generally speaking, this Shuangfeiyan keyboard and mouse set has a refreshing and simple color scheme, high-value appearance, multi-mode design, and the scissors-hand design makes the buttons more stable and responds quickly in office and games, which is really good.
Friends who are familiar with Banana Brother should know that Banana Brother is a mechanical keyboard enthusiast, and he has shared dozens of mechanical keyboard experience before. But the one I played a lot before was the 104-key full-size mechanical keyboard. What I want to share with you today is the mini, compact and easy-to-store 68-key Duga FUSION three-mode mechanical keyboard.
Speaking of the reason for starting, the original idea was to make all the keyboard and mouse "wireless", leaving more space for the desktop. In addition, usually home use is mainly used for playing games, and there are not many usage scenarios for small keyboards, so 68 keys can leave more space for the desktop than 104 keys.
Not all 68-key keyboards are compact designs. The key spacing of this Durga FUSION is still very ideal, so there is no "fighting" when changing from the 104-key usage habit to 68 keys. The retro white color scheme really brought our memory back to the video game era of red and white machines in the 1980s.
In terms of details, the 2.4G receivers of many mice can be stored in the mouse, which is more convenient to carry and can prevent loss. However, after searching the front and rear fuselages of Durga FUSION, as well as the packaging accessories box, there is no 2.4G wireless receiver. Its secret is actually hidden under the "DURGOD" LOGO. Clever use of sliding nameplate storage compartment door + push down pop-up 2.4G receiver, this design is really perfect.
The mechanical retro switch has a retro memory of a red and white machine returning a card, and there are upper and lower case indicators, configuration file indicators and power indicator lights next to it.
Two-color injection molding of PBT keycaps can effectively reduce problems such as oiling and sweating. The two-color molding process of the keycaps ensures that the characters do not wear out, and I personally prefer the high keystroke feel of the keycaps.
In terms of switches, all are cherry switches directly supplied by the German original factory. There are green switches, red switches, silent red switches, silver switches, and brown switches to choose from. I chose the silver switch version, which is suitable for coding and playing games. It's a pity that it doesn't support backlighting.
The large key adopts the support method of the satellite shaft, which can make the key more stable. You can also see the pure aluminum shaft liner, which is more tough than the steel plate, and can also greatly reduce the weight to achieve a lightweight design.
The Type-C interface is used on the side, and a C2C and A2C cable is included with it, which can be used with different device interfaces, which is very user-friendly.
There are six non-slip rubber pads with the thickness of a one-yuan coin on the back, which can not only prevent slipping, but also play a buffer role in the button pressing and rebound process.
Two-level foot support design, you can choose different heights according to your usage habits.
Duga FUSION wireless keyboard not only supports three modes of wired, 2.4G and Bluetooth, but also supports two sets of devices to connect in Bluetooth mode. Through the combination of FN+Q/W/E/R shortcut keys, you can switch between multiple connection modes.
In the actual measurement of 2.4G mode, playing RPG games such as DOTA will not affect the operation at all. The office scene in Bluetooth mode is also easy to deal with, and occasionally there will be a little delay in the game. In terms of battery life, based on the daily office usage time of 6-8 hours, one charge can meet the long battery life of about 30 days.
If you like the minimalist retro style and want to experience the three-mode mechanical keyboard at the same time, this Durga FUSION 68-key three-mode mechanical keyboard will definitely not disappoint you. Are you excited?
