When attempting to connect a Magic Mouse 2 (The version with the Lightning connector) I had the Lightning-to-USB cable connected to a Thunderbolt display. The mouse would not show up in the Bluetooth pane or the Mouse pane of System Preferences. On a whim, I tried plugging the USB end directly to the MacBook. It paired the mouse immediately. Trying to connect through the Thunderbolt display seemed to prevent the initial pairing. Other hubs might prevent the same thing.tl/dr: Plug the mouse DIRECTLY into the laptop

Whats the fastest way to get rid of a mouse?
Give it away lol put some sprite in a lid of a soda bottle and set it where you know the mouse goes. the carbonation messes them up because they can not burp. Otherwise mouse traps and peanut butter especially if you have animals. If you try to use the decon it is harmful to other animals and you need to shut off all water supplies in order to get the mouse to outside to die because Decon makes them thirsty so they go looking for water. it then makes them sick and they die. If you do not want dead mouse where you can not find them you gotta get rid of the water sources.

What's wrong with my mouse?
Every animal needs a different set of proteins and vitamins. The kitten formula is packed full of proteins that would help a kitten grow. Thus the mouse now that it's getting older needs its own vitamins that a cat would not be able to give it. Chances are the mouse has too much proteins in its system that now it is starting to seize. Sorry I do not have any advance on what you should do, unless you change formula. Puppy formula has more vitamins then cat, but I am not sure if it would actually benefit your mouse, sorry.

Disable mouse (not touchpad!) in Xorg while idle
Have you tried a "Pointer Capture" Gnome panel applet? In case the description from gnome.org is not clear, this will create an area in the panel where when the mouse enters (or you clic), the cursor will disappear and wo not reappear until a defined action occurs, for example a second click. Sounds like exactly what you need?

Why is my mouse not working well?
Try changing the batteries or moving your mouse closer to the USB antenna. Also try to reconnect the mouse to the USB antenna. Try unplugging the USB antenna and reconnecting it so the drivers can be refreshed by windows.

My mouse is lonely, what should I do?
Get another mouse, they should be fine. Although nothing is certain with animals, it all depends on the personality. I have never had any problems, or heard of any, so I am pretty sure it should be okay. Just in case, you may want to buy the second mouse, then take the mouse that you have now out of its cage, clean the cage thoroughly to eliminate any smells, maybe move a few things around, and put them both back in. This way the current mouse wo not be territorial. Hope it works out! I am sorry to hear about the deceased mouse :(

How do I get a dead mouse out of a printer?
It would seem as though the mouse got stuck inside one of the print feed rollers...problem is...he probably bent it too...It is probably cheaper to buy another printer than to replace all of the bent parts and clean all of it out
