Unscrew the 2-3 screws and take the roller ball out and wipe it down, give the mouse a little shake to remove any little debris or dust that might have gotten in and put the roller ball back in and screw the plate back on. If this does not fix the problem, then you will probably have to get a new mouse (they are SO cheap) since the connection is probably bad, wires could be lose. Good Luck!
