Get a toilet paper tube and crease two lines to form a flat sided tunnel. Put a treat on one end of the tube: A cracker and dab of peanut butter works great. Get a tall (at least 20 inches) bucket. A trash can works well. Balance the tube precariously on the edge of a table or counter with the treat hanging directly over the tall sided receptacle. The mouse will scurry to the treat (they like tunnels) and fall into the trap.

is it possible for the computer mouse to working VERY bad?

Yes its sounds like you need a new mouse. If its a laser mouse then it will malfunction more easily than a mouse with a ball. If its a mouse with a ball then take the ball out and try cleaning the inside of the mouse with a pencil eraser

How do I make an overnight mouse cage?

I would suggest a cardboard box with holes in the lid so it can breathe, or use a plastic bin. (Mice can chew through card board so I would suggest putting a smaller box which will hold the mouse inside a bigger box) I would put a paper towel roll in the box so if can chew on something as well as a small bowl full of water and some mouse food (you might want to look up what to feed it) use grass and paper towel as bedding. Also when you get a cage make sure that the wheel is not mesh or it will harm its feet. you might also want to buy it a toy or two. :) as well as a water bottle or a water bowl. You should look up how to look after a mouse so you have a better understanding. I am glad you are looking out for the little guy :)

My mouse is difficult to point?

If you are going to clean a ball mouse properly then first get the ball out of the mouse. There should be an easy way to get it out of the bottom, usually rotating or sliding a cover. Clean the ball with soapy water. Look into the space where the ball sits, you should see three wheels or rollers, two are to track the movement of the mouse and one is to keep the ball pressed against the other two. Use a toothpick or something similar to scrape these clean of all the junk that has built up on them. Keep scraping and moving the wheel round until you are sure the entire thing is clean. Dry off the ball, and put it back. Use a mouse pad, or regularly clean the part of the desk that the mouse runs over to help slow down the build up of dirt. Getting a new optical mouse is a lot easier and there are reasonable ones available for

whats the best way to get rid of a mouse?

why doesnt my mouse work?

Check the cable, or check the battery if it is a wireless mouse. If it is wireless, try a different channel (there should be a small button on the mouse to do that). Most mice have a control application that let you check signal strenght and battery level. Maybe buy a new mouse. Microsoft and Logitech make the best.

Do I need a new mouse.........?

When your mouse stops working can you still type and/or use the keyboard? If it's a wireless mouse, try changing the batteries or pressing the reset button on the mouse. If that does not work, try a cabled mouse, or buy a new wireless mouse. Logitech is good

Mouse stops working and than computer freezes too, help?

This sounds like a driver problem. I am assuming that you are using Windows XP or Vista. The device itself may be faulty. You said that pulling the power plug and plugging it back in is the only way to fix it. I am also assuming that you have tried to unplug the mouse and restart it, and that failed, so you pulled the plug. This mouse uses "Full Speed USB". Are you using a USB 1.0 or 2.0 port? Have you tried different USB ports? The fact that you PC wo not boot without pulling the plug is suspect, too. You may need to update the BIOS. Make sure you are using Signed Drivers for the mouse, as well.
