Which Company Invented the Computer Mouse (which Was Taken by Apple)?

Considering that Apple might be the only company in history to have paid a license fee to Doug Engelbart and SRI for the use of the concept, it's pretty rich (read: incorrect) to say that Apple "took" it.In any case, Doug Engelbart invented the computer mouse at the Stanford Research Institute, and was included in the 1968 demo that has become known as the Mother of all Demos:Xerox also used the mouse later in their Star line, which was never widely commercially available

I AM SCARED OF THE MOUSE IN MY HOUSE..?

Let the cat finish it's business. After the mouse is dead, grab a pair of latex gloves and pick up the mouse. Put it in several plastic bags and dispose of it in the garbage. Remember, until the mouse is dead, it is more afraid of you than you are of it. By the way, the mouse is in your house because 1) the cat might have brought it in or 2) there is an opening somewhere allowing the mouse in. If you live in a cold climate, it came in for warmth. My computer mouse isn't working...?

When on the login screen all settings are turned off and mouse, sound, video, are all set to default. If your mouse works on the login screen it means that it is not a problem with your mouse but instead a problem with one of your computer settings. If its a laptop make sure that your default settings are set to the external mouse and not the track pad. If your on a desktop navigate to your control panel and and go under mouse. Make sure that the external device is set as the default. If you are using a wireless mouse make sure that under the external hardware section the mouse is registering. If its not coming up try unplugging, then plugging the receiver back in. If that does not work make sure that the battery's have enough power. Hope that helps, Sparkeyy

i have a wild mouse as a pet! wat 2 do!?

I had a wild one as a kid:)) Well taming depends on her age, if shes young enough. Used to have pet mice, mongolian desert mice, nice pets, some would take food from hand. When picking up,dont be alarmed at the fuss ( I worked in the mouse room of a medial institute once) by the tail. If the mouse is healthy, probable, but maybe she could use a vet check??, a bite wont kill you. Like a budgerigar nip, hurt a bit, mostly through a glove they dont draw blood. Keep it clean, did you give her shavings, change every 3 days at least. Urine stinks. They love cardboard to nibble and build nests, tissue boxes or the inside og toilet rolls or kitchen rolls. Put in a few tissues too. My grownup sense says tell your ma, show her how good care youre taking. If she finds it without knowing it wouldnt be so good. Try banana:) Slices. my mouse pointer dont work and my comp says my mouse is on i have a wireless optical mouse 300 help me plz!?

What batteries did you try? I also have a wireless optical mouse and you need decent batteries (rechargeable are the best) to make it work properly. With my wireless mouse you have to press "connect" on the wireless receiver and "connect" on the mouse to make it work. Have you tried that? give it a go. You could also try using the mouse on a different computer and see if that does the trick or you could just stick to a wired mouse just to make sure.
