How Do You Tame a Mouse?

Not sure if it will ever not be jumpy. Mice are naturally afraid of anything bigger than it since it's so low on the food chain. I would say hold him regularly and maybe he will get used to you. but to be honest, I do not think he will ever lose that "jump" Also do not let your mouse go near your rat. Rats eat mice, it's called muricide. They will literally gnaw on it while it's still alive. I learned it the hard way when my snakes all decided to not eat all at the same time. So I was stuck with 2 rats and a small mouse. I was able to save the mouse but, had I not noticed it would be dead.

20 mouse traps? That seems a bit excessive. It sounds like the traps are not set correctly or they are getting food from another source. Do you have a pet? If there is food readily available, the mouse will go for that first. make sure you do not keep any food out in the open including out on a kitchen counter. Clean the kitchen floor of any possible food bits. Next: the traps. Make sure you are using spring loaded traps. They come in two types. One has a pre-baited plastic "cheese" that attracts mice using an artificial scent. The sent has a shelf life, so you must catch one within a few weeks for it to be effective. the other type is not pre-baited. It has a little serrated metal piece used to hold the bait securely. Here's the trick. The unbaited ones work better, but you must load them correctly for it to work. Mice are pretty good at getting food out of traps without setting them off. Peanut butter will not work. The mouse will simply lick it off. take a piece of cheese or a raisin and wedge it in the serrated metal piece. Take a pair of pliers and clamp the metal piece down tight around the bait. The mouse will have to work harder to get the bait out and will set off the trap. if you set the traps effectively enough, only one per mouse should do the job.

did you try changing the batteries if it's a cordless mouse? that's what it sounds like. other than that, i do not know. try pluggint the mouse into a different usb plug

Why does a computer mouse hand get cold?

Your mouse hand gets colder because it is exposed to more cold air since it's further from your body. I recommend you not get those mouse and hand warmer combos because the mouse will probably be poor quality since their selling point is the gimmick of the mouse warmers instead of the quality of the mouse. If it bothers you just put a small blanket over your hand and mouse, or get one of those small portable heaters ($15).

Holy crap there's a mouse in this room......?

i just found a mouse in my kitchen today! only problem is i found it in an old trap my parents set (not a pretty picture : ( ) but just try to catch it (have done this before) i think the easiest thing to do is get big plastic cups and put them in the room you know the mouse is in (put some cheese or something like that in the cup) then when you see the mouse eating you pick up the cup (really quickly) and set it free

why wont my wireless logitech mouse work?

Either you have dead batteries, your usb is port is messed up, you usb is messed up, there is internal problem with the mouse or u are using on a surface that is hard for the mouse to move. If this do not help, call the manufacturer and if it is still under warranty they will fix it or give you a new one. Good luck
