Mouse clicks stop working sometimes

Does the cursor/mousepointer lag behind your mouse movements? If not, then the mouse is working properly and the problem is more likely to be driver-related. Try removing the mouse device from the device manager: press Windows-R to bring up the Run dialog, enter compmgmt.msc and press Enter, navigate to Device Manager, find the mouse device, right-click on it and select Uninstall. You should restart Windows after that. On restart, Windows should re-detect the mouse and re-install and initialize the driver. If that does not work, look for a recent driver on the mouse manufacturer's web site and install that

Mouse models

The first ITGB6-knockout mouse model was developed in 1996. The mice grew normally, with no difference in wound healing ability. However, there was a significant amount of inflammation in the skin and lungs. This was the observation eventually leading to the discovery that v6 activates TGF-1, as the mice had a similar phenotype to TGF-1 deficient mice. The mice also developed temporary baldness, possibly due to the role v6 plays in hair follicle regeneration. While both TGF--/- and itgb6-/- mice have many similar characteristics, TGF-1 deficient mice suffer from poorer health and symptoms not observed in itgb6-/- mice. This is because TGF-1 can still be activated by other proteins such as Thrombospondin-1. In itgb6/thrombospondin 1 (tsp-1) double-null mice, there is a higher incidence of inflammation more consistent with the TGF-1 null mice phenotype. Additionally, this study observed that the itgb6-/- mice developed many more benign and malignant tumours compared to both the wild type and tsp-1-/- mice. Studies with longer term follow up of itgb6-/- mice observed an eventual development of emphysema. Matrix metallopeptidase 12 (MMP12) is an enzyme strongly associated with the development of emphysema, and was expressed 200-fold higher compared to the normal mice in alveolar macrophages. The mice also had abnormally large alveoli which worsened as the mice aged. Another consistent observation in itgb6-/- mice is periodontitis. v6 is expressed in the junctional epithelium of the gums, and is involved in the adhesion of the gingiva to the teeth. Incomplete adhesion of the gums to the teeth can cause 'pockets' to form which are prone to infection, resulting in chronic periodontal disease. Some mice also develop amelogenesis imperfecta, a disorder causing the teeth to develop abnormally.

Mouse (set theory)

In set theory, a mouse is a small model of (a fragment of) Zermelo-Fraenkel set theory with desirable properties. The exact definition depends on the context. In most cases, there is a technical definition of "premouse" and an added condition of iterability (referring to the existence of wellfounded iterated ultrapowers): a mouse is then an iterable premouse. The notion of mouse generalizes the concept of a level of Gdel's constructible hierarchy while being able to incorporate large cardinals. Mice are important ingredients of the construction of core models. The concept was isolated by Ronald Jensen in the 1970s and has been used since then in core model constructions of many authors.

help i have a mouse in my house?

How do you know you have a mouse? Did you see it or did you just see it's droppings? If all you saw was droppings they could've been there for years. Buy a mouse trap. Put it where you saw the mouse and/or droppings. Mice like to run around edges, not out in the open, so put traps along the edges of walls, cabinets, etc. If you saw the mouse in the kitchen put a trap behind the fridge. Refrigerators produce heat & the mice love to make their home there. If you saw the mouse in the basement use zip ties to attach traps to pipes that run along the edges of the walls. Mice use these as a "highway" system. You may be able to kill the mouse, but you will need a professional to come and check out your home. It did not just run in the door while you held it open for him. There is a crack or a hole somewhere that needs to be sealed. If there is a crack the size of your pinky fingernail a mouse can get in it. Good luck.
