If My Ball Python Does Not Eat His Mouse Right Away and the Mouse Dies, Will He Eat It Later?

If My Ball Python Does Not Eat His Mouse Right Away and the Mouse Dies, Will He Eat It Later? 1

Your question is a little hard to understand, but I am gonna try anyway. It will most likely take a while for the mouse to die, and when it does die it will be malnourished from not being fed and therefore not very nutritious for your snake. Also, if it dies while you are not home, it wo not necessarily be "fresh" when you return. If you have to buy live mice and you can not get frozen ones, you can freeze them yourself--put one in a disposable gladware-type container or ziploc bag and just put it in the freezer. It sounds inhumane, but it's better than starving them and they retain whatever plump juiciness they had when alive. To thaw, put the frozen mouse in a sealed ziploc bag (or leave it in the one it's already in), and put the bag in a container of warm water for a while; that way the mouse will get warm but not wet. NEVER thaw a mouse in the microwave--not only could it explode and make a huge mess, it will get hot spots that can burn your snake's insides. If your snake does not seem very hungry, try feeding him less often--snakes can go months without food, and it sounds like would be easier for you to just wait 'til he's hungry!

How do you catch a live mouse?

Very easy get a five gallong plastic bucket and make sure it's clean .then take a wooden plank and put it from the groung to the top fo the bucket so the mouse can use it like a ramp.then put a big piece of cheese in the bottom of the pail the mouse will jump down to get the cheese and will not be able to get back out because the sides of the bucket are smooth and the mouse can not get a grip. .once you have the mouse in the bucket you can just go dump it outside far away from your house.maybe at your in-laws.that's allways a good place.lol

Hp wireless mouse x4000 not working? HELP! 10 points.?

try a different USB slot, If that does not work, uninstall the mouse driver from the control panel. Just Google "How to uninstall wireless mouse driver from windows __ (whatever windows you use) and then plug the mouse back in so it installs its driver again. If that does not work, you probably have a bad mouse.

Do I have a rat or a mouse?

You can not really tell for sure. but most likely a mouse they are pests and always get into peoples houses. But to get rid of it.please do not kill it. There is a new thing now that you plug into the wall and it makes a high pitched noise only rodents can hear and it drives the mouse away. But do not kill it that's evil. ( It does not know it is in somebodies house, so cut it some slack.) Hope this helps, good luck.

Why does the USB mouse disconnect when the UPS is switching?

It should not. I will offer one possible theory to explain it. I assume that you are talking about the transition to battery backup power. The supply is producing a transient which is messing up the USB interface of the mouse. Assuming that the rest of the computer is still running as it should, I would expect that, if you were to unplug the mouse from its USB port and plug it back in again, it will start working again. Since going on backup power is not a common event and assuming this workaround is effective, it does not strike me as being too big a problem. Why does the USB mouse disconnect when the UPS is switching?.

Why does my mouse make my page jump?

Maybe your page goes "eeeek it's a mouse" and jumps. You could be pressing the middle button and activating the auto scroll. The scroll wheel setting may be high, you can usually adjust how far the page moves when you use the scroll wheel.... this should be in the mouse settings somewhere. If you installed the software that came with the mouse it will be in programs under microsoft mouse of something like that. Only other option I can think of would be a faulty mousey, maybe some soda or coffee spilled into it and it sticks.
