Is all of this okay for a mouse?
It should be, it wont be a very healthy mouse in the longrun, but it depends how long your snake waits before eating again, if its a week it should be good, if not then it could die due to lack of nuitrition. Feed it a little bit of veg, not too much though, and is the dog food the wet stuff or dry? If it is wet take it out, it should only eat the dry dog mixtures it can eat seeds so it should be alright on the birdseed. You dont have to tame it if you dont want to. My friend has a corn snake and the same thing happened to him, but he started playing with the mouse every day and when it came to feeding Sasha the Snake, he just ended up feeding it pinkies because he didnt want to give up mickey (what the mouse is now called) EDIT: Lol it is sad but we eat pigs.cows.chickens.turkey. Many people keep chickens as pets And we eat duck We have pet ducks too.

Should I have let the mouse stay in my house?
A mouse wo not harm you, so which you would be able to wait off till you will hit upon a capture, stay ideally. i think on account which you have a daughter, your house is cleancleanclean. merely shop nutrients off the counters and floor. sparkling somewhat properly. Take a 5 gallon bucket and put in some table scraps. Bread, cheese, piece of meat. in spite of you have left over. build stairs out of books, telephone books artwork large, then teeter a bathroom paper tube or a small plank. whilst the mouse smells the nutrients, he will arise the stairs and fall in attempting to get on the nutrients. Mice do no longer leap so properly, so he would be caught there till you could launch him later. in case you could no longer seize him, i prefer to propose merely preserving the abode cleancleanclean till he dies. i am no longer an recommend for stay mouse traps, incredibly whilst mice stay low and little ones can get to the traps.

Mouse starts to only move vertical, then computer freezes. Help!?
Have you tried a new mouse? If so, what is the mouse? (Ball or LED) I would imagine the mouse is faulty, and starts sending WAY more information then your computer can handle and thus the crash. This use to happen on a laptop of mine, except the TouchPad would just stop working before the computer crashed. I always had to use an external bluetooth mouse because the cost to replace the touch pad is just to much.

what causes a mouse not to work on computer?
I do not know your particular brand, but I recently got an optical wireless mouse. Often the battery is not in right and has to be adjusted. The battery seems to run out every couple of weeks. At first, I did not even know it needed a battery (did not get a manual). Some times you can get dirt or something blocking the laser, and it just has to be cleaned. Some times the connection to the CPU gets loose and has to be tightened. If yours is also wireless, you might not be following the correct procedure to initialize the connection. Some times the mouse works fine but the screen is frozen because of a problem with the monitor, the graphics card, and/or processor overload. If none of these help, take it back or have someone local and experienced check it out in person.
