Hi Try using another usb port. Or go to device manager and remove the mouse software; then plug the mouse in again, then it should install the generic driver you need automatically from vista. Hope this helps . good luck

The story is critical of the 'pro-life' belief in general. The main character is an uncaring a-hole who does not like his sex partners using contraception, we see this in his past relationship with 'Gwen.' He admits he finds contraception takes away the magic of sex. This is presumably why his wife has an unwanted pregnancy. The story revolves around the narrator's obsession with not killing the mouse who has infested his house. When he finally catches the mouse non-lethally and sets it free, it is instantly eaten by a cat, and he does nothing to stop it. When his wife wants to tell him about her abortion, he ignores her too, much like he does the mouse. the pro-life movement is shown as being obsessed with the 'magic' of life and sex, and prone to fantasy, as evidenced by the unhinged, conspiracy-theory rantings of the pro-life loonies in news that serves as the the backdrop of the story. Also, the narrator admits that to him, sex takes place 'half in his dreams, half in reality' whereas for Gwen and his wife, sex takes place 100% in the real world. The cat eating the mouse at the end, and the protagonists' blas attitude towards his wife's suffering and women's suffering in general, shows that the pro-life movement is unable to see the harsh realities of life, and would prefer to keep their hands clean, regardless of the consequences. Life, death, sex and suffering are real things, things the narrator, and the pro-life movement, would prefer not to think about and ignore

Using my mouse as "joystick"?

Some games just do not support the mouse, so do not expect EVERY game to work with one. Getting a Joystick emualtor might solve the problem, but other than that...You could rewrite the game to accept mouse input *shot*.

When mine did like that, I just gave it a beating(a punch to be exact). I am not joking. Is it wireless? Try to recharge it/change the batteries. If it's not, buy a new one, they are not so expensive now. Try cleaning the pad and the mouse. Also try rebooting your computer and changing the USB port

why would you even try to do that? The mouse would be able to chew through it because it would have to be thin enough to enable it to walk. Running around on the floor in an enclosed room is a lot better than trying to "walk" your mouse. You would probably break it's little spine because he wo not "walk" on the leash. =__="

Looking for an AMAZING Gaming Mouse.. Help?

Yes, people love the MX 518 - probably more than any other mouse on the market. It's comfortable, inexpensive, and has excellent durability. That said, I am not sure that it's really the mouse you are looking for. The Logitech G500 has almost all of the same features and almost exactly the same shape. The material is different, but I prefer it. It has a little more texture than the MX 518's smooth material. Also, it's more accurate, has a weight cartridge, and a few other features. I think the G500 is your best bet. Also consider the G9x. It's a great mouse, but it's not perfect for every grip - it's designed for more of a fingertip grip. I would describe it as a mouse for FPS gaming, but not for everyday use. The G500 is great for both. I would not recommend the Mamba. It's an awesome mouse, but like the SideWinder X8, these wireless/wired mice ALWAYS send data wireless - they just have an option for corded power. For a serious gamer, there's still a touch of lag. On top of that, both mice have some issues that make them less than ideal. Hope this helps :)
