Mouse is not working on being connected. How to solve the issue?
A USB mouse not working is very weird, since they are standardized -- unless the mouse is very weird, e.g., gaming mice.To try and see what is wrong you will have to get past the NOOBS configuration or whatever to a full fledged operating system. I believe Raspbian comes already installed so that is probably the easiest. If the mouse still does not work,This should show you a few things most of which are internal (eg., the pi's USB hub). See if it looks different with the mouse plugged in vs. unplugged (a mouse will usually be pretty clearly labelled). Next, unplug the mouse and tail -n 20 /var/log/syslog. Then plug the mouse in and do exactly the same thing. This shows you the last 20 lines of messages sent to the system logger; it includes stuff from dmesg, which is from the kernel. It may indicate some kind of USB error.

my mouse quit working.i got a new one it didnt work, bought a wireless mouse still didnt work?
there is not a lot you may do with it because this is injured. you could ask someone to placed the mouse capture interior a plastic bag and squeeze the air out of it. Then drop someone heavy on properly of the bag (ie brick) to without delay take the mouse out of this is misery.

Have you ever used mouse traps & are they pretty effective?
Yes they work but, depending on the size of the mouse, they are not always killed outright. It can be a gruesome site if one is still alive in the trap. I had to take one outside once and drop and huge brick on it to finish it off. Not something I wish to experience again

IM SAVING A MOUSE, WHAT TO DO?
First off, go wash your hands with soap and hot water if you touched the mouse, or touched anything that it touched. Then take the old hamster cage outside and put it in the shade with the door open. Come back in an hour or so, and if the mouse is dead throw everything in the cage away. If you want to keep the cage, disinfect and scrub it with a solution of bleach and hot soapy water. If its still alive, leave it there until the mouse is gone. If it happens again, put the mouse outside as soon as you can. The shock of being in a box is enough to kill some little animals.

If my Ball Python does not eat his mouse right away and the mouse dies, will he eat it later?
Your question is a little hard to understand, but I am gonna try anyway. It will most likely take a while for the mouse to die, and when it does die it will be malnourished from not being fed and therefore not very nutritious for your snake. Also, if it dies while you are not home, it wo not necessarily be "fresh" when you return. If you have to buy live mice and you can not get frozen ones, you can freeze them yourself--put one in a disposable gladware-type container or ziploc bag and just put it in the freezer. It sounds inhumane, but it's better than starving them and they retain whatever plump juiciness they had when alive. To thaw, put the frozen mouse in a sealed ziploc bag (or leave it in the one it's already in), and put the bag in a container of warm water for a while; that way the mouse will get warm but not wet. NEVER thaw a mouse in the microwave--not only could it explode and make a huge mess, it will get hot spots that can burn your snake's insides. If your snake does not seem very hungry, try feeding him less often--snakes can go months without food, and it sounds like would be easier for you to just wait 'til he's hungry!
