whats the best way to catch a mouse in my home?
I have had mice in the house myself. We have a cat, and have set the spring traps in the basement. The mice get smart to these. I hate finding mice stuck still alive in the glue traps so I do not use them. My suggestion is getting an battery operated trap. It runs on AA batteries, and is a little black box. You bait the trap with peanut butter and place it along the wall where you have seen mouse activity. When the mouse finds the trap, it has a small opening to enter in, and when it crosses the two metal plates to get the peanut butter at the end it is zapped. It has a small light which will blink when there is a mouse in the trap dead. Then you just take the whole box outside or to your garbage and dump it out. You do not have to touch the mouse at all. It is quick and I would think mostly painless. They are about $18 at Fleet Farm but could be found elsewhere I am sure. Just make sure to check the trap everyday for a blinking light.

Mickey Mouse Weekly
Mickey Mouse Weekly is a 1936-1957 weekly British tabloid Disney comics magazine, the first British comic with full colour photogravure printing. The comic was inspired by the 1935 launch of Mickey Mouse Magazine, the first American Disney newsstand publication. 920 issues were published by Willbank Publications and then Odhams Press between 8 February 1936 and 28 December 1957. The comics were said to be "drawn in a slick, smooth style which was clearly influenced by American comics". The magazine began as a 12-page tabloid, with four pages in color -- the cover pages, and the centerfold. The early covers were drawn by Wilfred Haughton -- a full-color comic panel with many characters, each one saying a joke or a pun. Mickey Mouse Weekly featured American reprints as well as original British Disney comics material, including the first Donald Duck comic book serial, originally called Donald and Donna, which began in issue #67 (15 May 1937), drawn by William A. Ward. There were 15 weekly parts of this first serial featuring Donald and his girlfriend Donna, an early version of Daisy Duck. Donna left the series after the first story, which was continued as Donald and Mac, Donald Duck and Donald Duck with Mac for the next three years, ending in issue #222 (4 May 1940). The magazine also featured reprints of Floyd Gottfredson's Mickey Mouse comic strip continuities in full color on the back cover. As the American Mickey Mouse Magazine inspired Mickey Mouse Weekly, the new publication inspired more European spinoffs, including Switzerland's Micky Maus Zeitung (1936-37) and Sweden's Musse Pigg Tidningen (1937-38), which used Haughton's covers and other British material. The magazine ceased production after Odhams lost the rights to the Disney characters in 1957. Disney then published Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse with Vernon Holding; the relatively unsuccessful magazine was renamed Walt Disney's Weekly in 1959 and discontinued in 1961. Non-Disney content was continued in Odhams Press' Zip, a 1958 weekly which merged into Swift in 1959.

How do i safe a mouse from a sticky trap ?
You will need plenty of vegetable oil and a Popsicle stick or similar tool. Pour the oil liberally around the mouse's body. The oil dissolves the glue, the stick helps you to pry the mouse off the glue-trap. Be careful where your hands are, this is one mouse that is terrified and in a lot of pain. it will bite. Please be patient, if you work too fast, you will cause the mouse further damage. I heard of one case where the mouse fought so hard to free itself from a glue-trap that it ripped open it's abdominal cavity and literally spilled it's guts. I commend you for your effort, but do not be surprised if the mouse still dies in spite of your effort. This is a wild animal you are dealing with and it might die of shock. The person who invented these devices (glue-traps) should be shot and peed on. These are the cruelest of killing methods. They've been banned in most of Europe, I hope the ban spreads. spazrats "my life has gone to the rats"

How do we catch a mouse in our house, but WITHOUT killing it?
You can use a trap called a "Tin Cat", I use thousands of them at my business. Do not use glue traps, you will never remove the mouse alive. Once you catch a mouse in a tin cat, you need to release it within a day (they do not live long without food). Mice are not good for your health: if you release it, it is likely to find someone else's home to invade. Generally, it is better to kill house mice.

My mouse roller isn't working properly?
in the journey that your mouse has a ball on teh backside, it is in all probability in basic terms grimy. turn the dial around the mouse, it ought to have arrows to tutor which thank you to tutor it. next turn over the mouse and the dial and ball ought to come out. Take a papertowel and moist it with warm water and use it to scrub the ball. Now look interior the mouse itself, you will see 3 rollers, they are in all probability grimy and function dirt gunked on them. utilising your nail in basic terms scrap that dirt off. it would come off relatively elementary. Now positioned the ball returned in, lock the dial returned in place and you ought to be sturdy to circulate. i attempt to scrub out my mouse each couple of months. asserting all this although, you could circulate and get a sparkling ir mouse, they have been ariound for various years now, and that they dont have any shifting aspects(no ball on the backside) and so dont must be wiped sparkling. Oh, and in case you have an IR mouse now, then its time to get a sparkling one. they are enormously inexpensive, around 20 greenbacks for a commonplace, 50 for a posh
Customization can be understood as customization, DIY, and do-it-yourself. Not a few gamers usually start with ordinary keyboards, and finally enter the pit of customized keyboards. Are ordinary keyboards really bad? It's cheap! That is, the keyboard with the Cherry axis is only a few hundred yuan. Before getting into customization, it is understandable to think so, after all, the price of customization is a bit expensive. But after you really use the customization, you will find that the customization is "really fragrant"! Recently, I bought Miwu’s customized mechanical keyboard BlackIO 98. It adopts a transparent black crystal design and an open-source customized full-blood configuration. The key point is that its price is only a few hundred yuan, which is similar to that of an ordinary keyboard. Let’s take a look. .
Let’s take a look at the appearance size and color first: the keyboard is not very big, the 98-key layout is compact, and it looks exquisite. This body is definitely more convenient to carry than the 104-key one, and it doesn’t take up much space on the table. They come in three colorways and the one I got is black and gold. There is a very mysterious feeling. After unpacking, you can see the family portrait of the product: keyboard body*1, 2.4G receiver*1 (keyboard body storage), C-port charging data cable*1 (1.2m), shaft puller*1, key pull Device*1, User Manual*1, Quick Start Guide*1, Spare Keycap*6 (included) and so on.
The overall appearance of the keyboard is particularly textured, mainly due to its transparent design. The specially toned black transparent material is like a black kiln stone polished into a transparent crystal, which is extremely crystal clear. The black transparent keycap instantly adds to the appearance of the keyboard, and the texture of the keyboard is completely different from other materials, especially under the light, the effect is more obvious, and the temperament is similar to blingbling. Many ordinary keyboards will not last long, and the characters on the keycaps may be worn off, but this keyboard, the keycaps are made of new materials and advanced technology, it is not easy to fade after long-term use, and the characters on it can be clearly seen, which will definitely not affect the use !
The main symbols and characters on the keycaps are mainly white, and the black and white are distinct and look clearer. The arrow keys are significantly different from other transparent keycaps. The artistically processed electroplated keycaps are very beautiful, and the texture is instantly reflected.
Behind the keyboard are detailed control buttons, including power button, wired/2.4G Bluetooth switch, WIN/MAC mode switch, Type-C interface for wired connection, and storage compartment for 2.4G wireless Bluetooth receiver. Usually this part is covered by a shell whose material is the same as that of the arrow keys.
There is a non-slip foot pad at the four corners of the bottom of the keyboard and the middle of the front. The anti-slip effect is still good; there are two 2-stage foot supports at the back, which can adjust different keyboard angles according to your needs; the middle is a regular arrangement of horizontal stripes.
Kaihua’s jellyfish switch is used for the switch body. The transparent switch body is matched with a transparent keycap. If the light is on, it means that the switch body can emit light. We can imagine the lighting effect; the structure of this BlackIO 98 keyboard is the full Gasket Silicone closed design, the positioning plate is fixed by the pressure of the upper and lower shells. It feels warm and comfortable, and the sound of keyboard operation is very small.
In addition to the keycaps can be removed and replaced by yourself, this keyboard also supports hot swapping. The connecting shaft can be replaced according to needs, choose the sound, color, feel, etc. you like, and create your own mechanical keyboard!
About lighting effects. With fully transparent MX jellyfish switches, the keyboard is full of lights, and the cool light effects are fully revealed. 48-bit RGB backlight, light mixing is more delicate, and users can choose all lighting effects in the dynamic library. The light transmittance of the bending part of the keycap is different due to different thicknesses, which makes the entire shape of the keycap outlined by the light. BlackIO 98 supports full-color RGB backlight, comes with 43 kinds of lighting effects by default, and can also drive DIY lighting effects through VIA.
About the original design of BlackIO 98. Support QMK open source firmware and VIA open source software, which can realize highly customized content, such as adding Bluetooth to the keyboard, adding screens, knobs, modifying the keyboard keys, and programming by yourself. In short, you can make your own keyboard without having to brush the array. This is the biggest benefit of customization.
Summarize:
After trying this Miwu customized mechanical keyboard BlackIO 98, I feel good about it. The first feeling is that it feels good in the hand and is very comfortable to use. The 98-key position realizes all the functions of the traditional 104-bit keyboard. But I like its lighting the most, the RGB full-color lighting effect is very interesting and beautiful. Miwu BlackIO 98 is a full-blooded version in terms of appearance design and functional configuration, Gasket structure; three-mode wireless and WIN/MAC switching, etc.; plus a price of several hundred yuan, this Miwu customized mechanical keyboard BlackIO 98 keyboard is worth choosing.
Xiaomi Youpin is currently crowdfunding this technological keyboard. If you like a customized keyboard but don’t want to spend a lot of money, you can go to Xiaomi Youpin to have a look as soon as possible. #米物Keyboard #BLACKIO
The mechanical keyboards launched by Dujia in the early days are mainly cherry switches, such as the hot-selling K320 and K310 series, which have attracted a group of loyal fans with their excellent key adjustment and price. In recent years, Dujia has made great efforts in domestic switches (customized crystal switches), and has successively launched a series of domestic switch mechanical keyboards, such as multi-mode wireless mechanical keyboards such as K330W, K610W and K620W, which greatly enriched players. optional range.
The keyboard and mouse set shared today is Durga GK90 wired mechanical keyboard and Durga GM90 gaming mouse. This set of keyboard and mouse has greatly changed in terms of shape design. Another reason is that the price of this set is only a little over 600 yuan, which is the price of a mid-range mechanical keyboard. The price is very suitable, so I will briefly make a review below.
The 104-key Duga GK90 wired mechanical keyboard uses a customized version of the linear optical red switch. The life of the customized version of the optical red switch is 80 million times, and the full stroke is 4.0mm. With fast response and lighter touch, I personally feel that the actual pressing pressure is smaller than that of the cherry silver switch, and the bottoming rebound is faster.
It is worth mentioning that the customized version of the linear light red switch used by Dujia GK90 supports hot swapping, which can meet the needs of players to replace the switch body by themselves. As a mainstream design of the current mechanical keyboard, the hot-swappable switch design further enhances the fun of DIY, and also reduces the maintenance cost in the later stage to a certain extent.
The optical axis is obviously different from the mechanical axis in terms of principle. It uses the optical principle and optical coupling technology. Because of the different design of the optical axis body, there is no common metal pin design at the bottom of the axis body. The corresponding Durga GK90 The internal PCB board has also changed, canceling the opening design and adding components such as light-emitting elements and light-receiving elements to realize light sensing.
The design of Durga GK90 attracts me in addition to the light red axis above, there are the following parts,
One is the shape design with stronger three-dimensional sense and the characteristic light belt design.
I prefer the unique shape design of Durga GK90, which is equivalent to adding a frame around the outside. The overall look is larger and the three-dimensional effect is stronger. The black and white color matching reduces the monotony of black to a certain extent. The built-in wrist rest is also consistent with the keyboard in terms of color matching.
The light strips are designed on the left and right sides and the left side of the keyboard surface. The lighting generation on the left side of the keyboard surface adopts a nine-segment design, and the lighting area is large.
The area of the symmetrically designed light strips on the left and right sides is relatively small, the light changes are relatively smooth and natural, and the look and feel is also very good. I personally feel that the front should also be added to the design of the light strip, which will be an attraction for players who prefer light.
The second is the built-in scroll wheel volume key design.
Ever since I experienced the mechanical keyboard with its own roller button, I have a great sense of dependence on this roller button. One-key mute and quick volume adjustment are very useful even at home. Durga GK90 has designed the scroll wheel button in the upper right corner, and there are 4 status indicators on the left, all of which are designed with white lights.
The third is to bring your own wrist rest.
The wrist rest accessory is actually very useful for people who use the keyboard for a long time. By raising the height of the wrist to keep the wrist relaxed, it can relieve wrist fatigue. The wrist rest that comes with Duga GK90 is relatively long and wide. The surface is made of ice silk fabric to cool down, and it is lined with memory foam, which makes the experience more comfortable. Six anti-slip pads are used at the bottom to achieve a good anti-slip effect.
Now let's talk about Durga GK90 in detail.
The Durga GK90 comes with a plastic transparent dust cover, a wrist rest, a shaft puller and a key puller. The transparent dust cover can be said to be the standard configuration of the Duga mechanical keyboard. This dust cover is very practical for northern users like me, and it avoids the trouble of falling dust and foreign objects. The shaft puller has high hardness and is more convenient to use force. The key puller is a common iron wire key puller, which is relatively long.
The picture below is the effect picture of Durga GK90 after it is powered on. The RGB light strip on the upper left side looks a little brighter, the keycap has good light transmission, and the fit between the wrist rest and the keyboard is relatively high. I personally feel that the Durga GK90 should also be symmetrically added to the design of the RGB light strip on the upper right side, so that it looks more symmetrical.
Durga GK90 has continued the consistent PBT two-color closed font keycaps in terms of keycaps. The characteristics of PBT keycaps are non-slip, longer life, and less likely to leave fingerprints. The surface of the keycap has a more obvious grainy feel and feels more comfortable. The keycaps are at OEM height, and the concave design can fit fingers better, and the standard cross-cut design is more convenient for players to replace the keycaps by themselves.
Durga GK90 keycap adopts side engraved design, such as brightness adjustment, media keys and so on. The side engraved design also makes reasonable use of the keycap space, and the side engraved patterns are relatively large, which looks more intuitive.
Durga keyboards have always adopted the satellite axis design for large keys such as SPACE, ENTER, SHIFT, and BACKSPACE. Similarly, Durga GK90 also continues the satellite axis design for large keys. The advantage of the satellite shaft design is that it can make the keys more stable and reliable when moving up and down, make the shaft body more sensitive and accurate when triggered, and effectively avoid problems such as stuck keys caused by tilted friction of the keys, thus providing players with a higher and better feel.
Judging from the actual button experience, the overall optimization of the large keys of Duga GK90 is relatively good, there is no problem of stuck keys, and the steel wire noise is not too big. Relatively speaking, the SPACE space bar in the large keys can hear a little steel wire sound, but Will not affect the use.
Duga GK90 is a wired mechanical keyboard. The wire adopts a front-centered design. A section of rubber-like material is added to the connection between the wire and the keyboard to strengthen and fix it, which effectively avoids the problem of frequent dragging or bending that causes the wire to be damaged. .
The one-piece design wire is very thick, and the outer skin is made of wear-resistant and scratch-resistant braided rope technology.
Because of the design of the front center of the wire, the design of the bottom of the Durga GK90 does not include a wire groove design. The four corners of the bottom are symmetrically designed with non-slip pads. The area of the upper two anti-slip pads is smaller than that of the bottom two.
Durga GK90 adopts a single foot support design, and the head of the foot support is also designed with a non-slip pad.
Compared with cherry red switches or Jiadalong red switches, the custom light red switches used by Durga GK90 feel lighter and more fleshy than cherry red switches or Jiadalong red switches. This is an advantage. In the place of the red axis, it is fully capable of game entertainment and office scenes.
After talking about the mechanical keyboard, let me talk about this Durga GM90 wired mouse. The first thing that attracts me about Durga GM90 is its appearance. It is similar to Durga GK90 in terms of color matching, and has a stronger mechanical sense; the second is the characteristic light strip design, which can be linked with the Durga keyboard; the last is the price, 149 The price of Yuan is very attractive to me.
Durga GM90 focuses on lightweight design, weighing only 72.1 grams, and does not provide an adjustable counterweight design. For users who are accustomed to using a mouse weighing more than 100 grams, the first use of Duga GM90 will feel much lighter.
The wire adopts the paratrooper soft cable that is common on mid-to-high-end mice. It is strong, soft and light in weight. You don’t have to worry about bending problems. The lighter wire also makes the mouse easier to move. The connection between the wire and the mouse is strengthened and fixed, which effectively prevents the wire from being damaged after frequent bending. The cable length of 1.8 meters can almost meet the connection needs of all desktop computers. In addition, the cable is also designed with a shielding ring.
Durga GM90 is a gaming mouse that is truly universal for both left and right handed users. In addition to the symmetrical design of the appearance, side buttons are added to the left and right sides, and rubber side skirts are designed on the left and right sides. The crazy texture design achieves an effective anti-slip effect and brings users a more stable experience when gaming. The keys on both sides have a slightly longer key travel, and the touch bottom is crisp.
There are two square DPI addition and subtraction buttons designed on the top, and the buttons are relatively crisp. The size of the scroll wheel is moderate, and the sense of scale is relatively clear and obvious. The rollers are wrapped in rubber, and are designed with neatly arranged stripes to achieve a non-slip effect. At the same time, there are light strips on both sides.
In addition to the built-in lights of the scroll wheel, Durga GM90 also added an RGB magic light strip design on the side of the white frame on the upper and lower parts, and also added a background light design for the Durga logo. The background lights in different areas can be matched with official drivers. The software can be set separately, and it can also realize the linkage with the lighting of the Durga keyboard, which greatly improves the playability and look and feel.
Durga GM90 uses the common Teflon foot stickers, with two pieces on the top and three pieces on the bottom. It has good low-friction and wear-resistant properties, making the mouse move smoother and smoother. There is a button with an indicator light on the bottom, which is the configuration file switching key. As the configuration file is switched, the corresponding indicator light will also change accordingly. In terms of core hardware, Dujia GM90 uses the classic original phase PMW3327 sensor, which supports up to 6200DPI and 30g acceleration, and the rate of return is 125/250/500/1000Hz, which is more suitable for entry-level e-sports players. The left and right buttons use Kaihua micro switches with a lifespan of 60 million clicks, which can meet the needs of players for long-term gaming.
In terms of grip, Durga GM90 is very light for players with big hands like myself, and it is easier to move, and the tail can fit the palm very well.
Finally, let’s talk about the official driver, that is, the Dugazeus driver software. The Zeus driver software can normally recognize the Durga GK90 and Durga GM90 connected to the computer, and the corresponding icons will light up on the main page. The main functions of the Zeus driver software are firmware upgrades, function settings, macro recording, lighting settings, and Nebula for multi-device linkage. Different models of keyboards and mice have slightly different functions.
For the keyboard part, we can assign individual key functions, set key combinations, call macros with one key, etc. under the custom function, which can meet the needs of daily gaming and office scenarios.
Under the lighting page, we can quickly set the keyboard lighting mode. In the normal mode, there are a variety of lighting modes to choose from. As a mechanical keyboard designed with multi-light strips, we can set the button lights, ambient lights and side lights separately, and can set them to a unified or independent style according to our own preferences. If you switch to Nebula mode, then we cannot make lighting-related settings for the keyboard.
For the mouse function part, you can also customize the buttons, change the keys, and modify the lights by yourself. The function worth mentioning here is that you can set the combination keys with the mouse button and the Fn button. A total of 9 groups of combination keys can be set.
Under the macro setting function, keyboard and mouse operations can be recorded at the same time, and functions such as delay setting and macro import and export are supported. The supported mouse is not limited to the Duga mouse, and also supports other brands of mice.
The Nebula function is mainly aimed at linkage, which can unify the lighting settings of Dujia’s own products such as keyboard and mouse, and the corresponding devices can use the same lighting mode or specific color, which is suitable for players who have multiple Dujia products.
In general, the biggest highlight of the Duga GK90 and Duga GM90 keyboard and mouse kits is the appearance design, black and white color matching with mecha style, the visual impact is relatively strong, and the characteristic RGB lighting design and Zeus driver software can Realize keyboard and mouse linkage, more playability. At present, Durga GK90 and Durga GM90 also have advantages in terms of price, which are suitable for gamers who prefer lighting and have limited budgets.
For the part of the suggestion, first, I hope that Durga GK90 can launch mechanical keyboards with optical silver switches and light tea switches in the future, and at the same time launch a wireless multi-mode version for players to choose from; second, I hope that Durga GM90 can be launched in the future. Replace the wireless mouse with the inching.
I have been using the keyboard of Yaoguang 2 Magic for several months. I use this keyboard almost every day when I play games at home and work. Let me share my experience of using this keyboard.
First the basic parameters:
Model: ROG Yaoguang 2 Magic
Shaft body: hawthorn red shaft Connection method: wired - dual USB port connection
RGB: support
Colour: Black
Arrangement: 104 key PBT keycaps
Hot swap: full key hot swap
Special features: additional keys such as light display matrix screen, control wheel, etc.
The front of the keyboard is made of anodized sandblasted all-aluminum material, and you can always trust ROG in terms of texture.
The main body of the keyboard is relatively thin (the height of the keycaps is not included, only the base is counted), and the actual measurement is about 1.3cm, which is almost the same thickness as the low-axis keyboard. The height of ordinary keyboards is about 2-3cm, which also makes the whole keyboard experience very Well, when used with a hand rest, there is basically no need to hang your hand in the air.
Note: I have felt that the height of most mechanical keyboards is too high since I started using mechanical keyboards, but there may be some people who just like that height, and this is just a personal opinion.
Height contrast, left ROG↑
On the back is a prodigal eye icon with a brushed design.
In terms of foot support, this ROG model is not a multi-segment design. It only has one gear, plus a foot pad to raise the ground slightly. It is still because the keyboard is relatively thin, and the multi-segment foot support is not used.
The keycap part uses two-color injection molding PBT keycaps, which takes into account the feel and light transmission, and the RGB effect is very good (if RGB is not turned on, the color perception of two-color injection molding is actually rather monotonous).
The keyboard feels like a typical PBT keycap, with a slightly frosted feel, and with the metal shell, it has a hard-core look.
As for the switch body, mine is Hawthorn red switch (linear switch, short trigger key stroke, very suitable for playing games), all keys support hot swapping, and built-in sound-absorbing cotton.
There are 2 knobs + 2 extra buttons in the upper left corner, all of which can be customized by downloading software. The default function is to adjust the volume (volume increase and decrease, press to mute), adjust the previous song and the next song (press to pause playback), button 1 is to disable the Win key, and button 2 is to turn off the light.
However, this keyboard key wire is not separated, and the wire is very thick, because the wire itself has two USB ports that can be connected to the computer.
There is a USB port behind the keyboard, where you can connect external devices such as a mouse, which is equivalent to transferring the USB port of the computer to the back of the keyboard. I usually use this to connect headphones.
Note: This is also a design of different opinions. It is worthwhile for the game party. If you listen to music, you can also consider having good headphones + amps (that's what I do).
There's also a pixel-style display to the right of the keyboard, which is cool too.
A bunch of things can be displayed here, such as pause, previous song and next song, or some special images (there are a bunch of them available with the software).
The keyboard comes with a palm rest. If you are worried that the RGB effect will be blocked by the palm rest, you can take out the plastic light strip inside and install it outside the palm rest to continue to transmit light.
The palm rest is also included ↑
Other functions:
The keyboard supports up to 8KHz return rate, ultra-low latency, built-in WINDOWS disable key, tailor-made for playing games.
All keys support the custom settings of the ROG software~ Anyone who has used it knows it, so I am too lazy to go into details.
In terms of keyboard tuning, whether it is the satellite axis or other axes, they are quite stable.
Since I don’t have a good radio equipment, I don’t record the sound of the keyboard. The daily listening experience is similar to the sound of a few large keys, and the area of the letter keys is a little bit “clang, clang, clang”.
Brief summary: Although this is a keyboard that supports customization, the quality of the keyboard itself is fully usable, especially suitable for gaming parties.
Whether it is design or materials, ROG should definitely give enough.
Game + customization enthusiasts can consider this keyboard:
Of course, I have to explain again: this keyboard has no key line separation, which is probably the only slot.
