What Makes a Mouse with the Laser Thing on the Bottom???

The laser tracks the movement cross a surface. It transmits the data into the computer in the mouse and converts into data that the mouse driver software understands. Then that data travels to the wireless transmitter in the mouse. Either it be IR or bluetooth, it transmits a radio frequency signal that is recieved by the IR reciever or blluetooth module. this data goes through to the mouse driver software built into the OS. this controls the pointer on the screen. It may stagger or lag because of a low battery, or a rough surface. Text in a book may cause this, but is not likely. You may have to clean the laser with a cloth or tissue. Also, if you are using the mouse on a book cover that is glossy, that may cause it. Try using it on a non reflective surface such as a desk. Never use it on glass or a reflective surface for best operation! I hope this helps :-)

It should be, it wont be a very healthy mouse in the longrun, but it depends how long your snake waits before eating again, if its a week it should be good, if not then it could die due to lack of nuitrition. Feed it a little bit of veg, not too much though, and is the dog food the wet stuff or dry? If it is wet take it out, it should only eat the dry dog mixtures it can eat seeds so it should be alright on the birdseed. You dont have to tame it if you dont want to. My friend has a corn snake and the same thing happened to him, but he started playing with the mouse every day and when it came to feeding Sasha the Snake, he just ended up feeding it pinkies because he didnt want to give up mickey (what the mouse is now called) EDIT: Lol it is sad but we eat pigs.cows.chickens.turkey. Many people keep chickens as pets And we eat duck We have pet ducks too.

will dogs die when they eat a mouse?

it depends if the mouse has eaten poison or not and what ever diseases it carries. but my dogs has eaten allot of mice before and nothing happened to them. just watch him. if he is not eating his normal meal at a normal time then his stomach might be upset or the mouse has made him ill. always as a rule of thumb if an animal is not eating then there is something wrong if it is just an upset stomach or something worse

Why do you feel the need to clean an optical mouse? It does not accumulate dirt the way older ball mice used to. And yes, you need to use an optical mouse on a non glossy, non multicolored surface. Otherwise it moves irratically. Try keeping the mouse on a plain, cotton cloth. On a cotton napkin or a towel.

It sounds like a virus on your computer. There is this one and your computer controls itself for a while. I forgot what it is called though. But it does sound like your computer mouse is haunted. ghz is gigahertz, the second one just does not list its speed of its wireless connection (bluetooth is a form of wireless)

Can't get mouse to wake up computer from standby?

if it's a USB mouse, that's why. get a ps/2 mouse if your laptop supports that. be careful that 's not a svideo connnector (you can burn either the svideo or the mouse out)! the usb mouse or keyboard or other usb devices can not be powered by the bus if the computer's in standby or other power-saving mode. I do not think there's a way around that for usb mice. if mouse does not work at all or is flaky, it's dead. get a new one. kensington mice are only $13 at fred meyer. synaptics touchpads often have a switch that powers them on and off. is it on? there is nothing in XP settings-wise that you can enable for mouse movement except the screen saver by right clicking on desktop, picking properties, screen saver tab.
